Here is where dwells the rulers of the entire Kingdom of Avaren and where all nobility and high-ranking officials tend to the business of the kingdom.

This color and lively part of town is where the citizens of Avaren gather to talk about things from the birth of a child to the marriage of a couple.

Drink up before you catch your death of cold! Here the drink flows freely and all are merry in the tavern. If you get to rowdy however or insult the owner; you just might have a bar fight on your hands.

This is the shadier part of Avaren, despite all that the King does to try and maintain order; unsavory types still gather here. If you value your money and your life; this is perhaps a place to avoid. Though for all it's ruffians, the Alleys still have some kindly people that reside within.

Do you haggle Sir? If so; then let the bargaining begin, for in the Market all of the business of the City takes place and if you are not careful; you could walk in with a full wallet and leave with absolutely nothing.

For the Forge; Bring timber, iron and oil! Here is where the arms of the realm are forged and battle-scarred trinkets repaired, but for a price.

This is the house of God; in here all are equal and no one can go against the word of God while they are inside. It is here that priests and paladins learn of the Lord and train to further advance their holy order.

From the wealthiest of manors to the poorest of cottages, this is where the citizens of Avaren dwell. One can own their own house and it can expand as they rise in power. So the harder you work; the better a house you will soon have.

The clashing of steel and the whizzing of arrows are a constant crescendo of noise in this building. It is here that common boys and girls are taught the ways of the warrior. From the clumiest militia to the greatest Champion; all come to this place to further train and to make companionships.

The ancient and colossal walls of Avaren have yet to be breached while her valient people defend them. In times of peace, this is a place where one can get away from it all and seek solitude.

No light shines through the dense canopy of this Forest; hence it's title. No one is for certain what dwells within, so one is advised to be cautious should they try to cross through these woods.

With it's crystaline and presitine surface, the Lake is one of the most attractive places in the Kingdom. Whether you are out for a swim or you are merely there to let loose your mind; no place is better than the Lake.

Vast and dark are these caverns; no one has dared to enter them for fear of what might lie within. Some rumors have spread, but they are only rumors and only the weak of mind are affected by them. Unless the rumors prove true.

Tall peaks and crowned with snow on their summits, the Mountains that are just beyond the Forest are a sight to behold. Their majesty steals the breath away from many, and they are a great task to cross. Yet to attempt to cross them in the winter is a fool's errand.

The village of Repaer is located in a relatively mountainous region. Though the actually village is located on a plateu near the outskirts. The mountains and the valley that surrounds it serve as natural defenses with only a few paths to the village. Both warriors and mages are welcomed without the fear of persecution of what they are. It was also meant as a place for the leaders of Avaren and Aesir to meet and serve as a safe haven for those that have gotten involved with recent events. Perhaps as time goes on the village may become a prosperous city, but that is yet to be known.

Within the Mountain range, there is a citadel of old. It has not been populated since the last great war, but it is rumored that there is great wealth left behind. And there are darker rumors that spread from that place, but they have yet to be confirmed.

A mysterious place, said to be the boundary to other places beyond the knowledge of Avarens people. Anything can happen here. A deep, thich and multi colored fog fills this place, obscurring view and direction. There are small open areas within the Mist that are said to be "pieces" of distant places. One can never know where they are going to end up if they choose to travel here...

A once strong temple of law and peace, this was one of the last strong holds for Alezands people, the Allaine Order. Located on the other side of the Mist, it has been seperated from the rest of the world since its fall. Those with determination and good hearts may find this place, even if they don't mean to...

Just beyond the western arm of the Mists lies the modest dwarf city of Barudalck. Fair, stout hearted but can be rather suspicious of others until they proven they are worthy of their trust, the dwarves are good people and have wondered what had happened to the twin cities of Avaren. It is easier to reach than other outer places as the Mists are not as thick here, but it is still a journey...

Here is where all manner of flora and fauna grow in the midst of this peaceful city of Aesir. It is a place for seclusion, socializing or just taking the time to smell the roses.

Unlike it's not so clean counterpart in Avaren, the Inn of Aesir is much more of a high class establishment where civilized citizens dine and enjoy one another's company. No brutes and riff-raff from Avaren allowed in this establishment if you so please.

This is the second largest and magnificent building in the floating city of Aesir. Within it's halls are places of higher learning, the audience chambers of the Grand Magi, and the general practice halls.

Unlike their earth-dwelling cousins, the people of Aesir live in the lap of luxury no matter who they are. Not a stain of dirt or a crack in the wall exists; for these houses are the epitome of beauty.
