"What?" Alenya turned at Napier's utteration. She turned toward where he was looking and saw the troop of soldiers. "What are they doing here? Since when have there been troops here? I thought this was staying in the city!"

Napeir turned to look for some sort of cover, they had already seen them and they were coming this way.

Alenya thought. "Don't run. That's what they would want. They want to strike fear in us and make up stop practicing magic. But I don't dare fight them. They are armed and we are not. I didn't really plan on dying when I woke up this morning."

She looked around. Spotting a large outcropping of rock, she pointed it out. "Hide there. We can listen in on them and attest the situation before we do anything drastic." She slunk into the shadows cast by the cast and creeped toward the place she pointed out.
