The View

[Paine Edelias]

It Was a Cold Windy Day As Paine Sat On The Mountain Feeling the Wind Blow threw her short Hair. She sat there staring at the distant view infront of her. She had been there for nearly hours. Pain Was Alittle Chilly since she didn't have a long Coat. But She did Enjoy the Wind More Than Anything else! Pain sat on the rocks of the mountain staring at the other mountains.

[Shadow]

Shadow was walking down the path when he spotted someone. Hmm... looks familiar... He decided to go investigate. Using all the stealth he gained from being a theif as a child, he crept up behind that person, and probably wouldnt have been noticed untill he stepped on a loose rock and tripped, creating a loud crash and a large scrape on his chin. so much for stealth...

[Paine Edelias]

Paine who had been siting there knew that someone had been behind her for her hearing and sense of knowing someone is around she sat there still keeping herself quiet. She layed back on the rock with her eyes closed just laying there knowing someone was there. She had a smile on her face and decided to lay like that for a bit. "Hello" she says to him

[Shadow]

He spat out some blood before standing up. "Greetings." He took out a white cloth and held it up to his bleeding chin. "I can tell that you knew i was behind you the whole time." He looked down. "I recgonise you from somewhere..."

[Paine Edelias]

"Yes i recongnize you we met at the lake" she syas to him " You Shadow aren't you" she says to him with a smile. She sat up and opened her eyes " You Okay" she says to him trying to look at him chin hoping he was alright.

[Shadow]

He shrugged. "Eh, just a scratch." He nodded. "Oh yeah, you're Paine, arent you." he walked over and sat down. "what are you doing out here?" he took the cloth away from his chin, as the blood had stopped. he shook the rag, and it became white again. "much better."

[Paine Edelias]

She smiled at him " Just Sitting around watching the view and being alone" she says to him sitting down on the rock looking back out at the view again it had become clear to see and she was looking out at the distance.. " I thought it was a good day to look out at the distance since it was a nice day out today to do so." she says to him. " What are you doing out here" she asks him

[Shadow]

He shook his head. "I was at the top of the mountain, doing research." stupid coven... glad I left. he made a face which betrayed his feelings, but it was quickly covered as he turned to cough into his sleeve. When he finished, he turned back and looked at her."I agree, the air is clear up here, no annoying castles or buildings to block your eyes." he laughed

She smiled " Its jsut beautiful" she says to him " When i been up here i kept thinking to myself who to share this wonderful view with beside myself" she syas to him. She sat there and turned her head to look up at him. She smiled just sitting there not ignoring him. She was happy to had him up here. She noticed that he sneezed into his sleeve ' You alright" she says to him wondering if he was.

[Shadow]

He nodded. "im fine, Just a cold." He looked down at her and smiled back. He scratched at his right arm, which still had a bandage on it. He looked up into the mountains"whatever that was... im gonna get it and give it what it deserves..."

[Paine Edelias]

Paine looked at him " What do you mean" she says to him looking at him and seing that he smiled back. Paine Noticed that he scratched his right arm which she noticed the bandage. " What happened to your arm" she asks Shadow. "Well i definitely don't know what it was tho" she says to him. She looked at the bandage again then she looked down at the ground.

[Shadow]

He shrugged. "its nothing. Just a reminder of an encounter, like the scar under my eye here." He pointed to a small triangular scratch mark under his eye. "Thats from a mistake. I should be dead, but all the assasin could do was give me a scratch. Then the rage took over..." He shook his head. "but I dont like stirring up the past... It brings unpleasnt feelings and temptations..."

[Paine Edelias]

"You don't have to Shadow" she says to him " I not trying to stir up the past from your mind" she says to him. " im trying not to stir up my own past right now since there was alot of things giong on that happened in the past thats why im a warrior" she syas to him. " But mostly i may be a warrior but i don't start fights im not the person to go off and start a killing spree" she says to him sitting there looking down at the ground.

[Shadow]

He laughed. "you dont look it." shaking his head, he looked off into the distance. "Its hard to lose your entire family... I know personally..." He looked down as the memories came flooding back... "I dont even remember what day it happened... it was all so fast..." he was taken back in time for a moment, and he could hear the screams of his mother, and his sisters... then the yelling of his brothers, trying to defend him, the youngest. they all fell... but Shadow, flew at his attacker with such a rae and fury, he was able to kill the man who was armed with a broad sword, With his smalll dagger. Back in the present, he could feel the tears welling up in his eyes, but he wiped them away and no more appeared. "Memories can kill a person..."

"Memories can leave alot of damage to your mind" she says to him " It leaves damages to you future and to your past" she says to him sitting there not knowing what to think except of thinking of her mother and father and sister " My Family as killed 16 years ago." she says to him. she looked down at the gorund her hair in her face. a tear dripped down her cheek.
