The Noise Of A Sword

[Paine Edelias]

Paine had acted serious now and put her arm around him holding herself up. Paine started to walk trying not to walk on her one leg. Paine smiled at him " thank you for helping me i appriciate it and for that " she syas turning her head looking at him kissed him on the cheek as a thank you and she turned her head back to face forward not knowing what he would say.

((Well then we shall make a new post but who is gonna make it you or me??))

[Verdan]

Verdan felt himself turning red. He grinned to himself as his eyes glazed slightly. Gradually, he regained his composure and his expression became sensible once more. Not knowing what to say, he kept walking towards the city, supporting Paine.

"Ahem..." he cleared his throat to break the silence that overcame the two of them, "We should keep going. Do you know of anyone in Avaren that could help you? I don't usually spend too much time there, being a mage and all... I reside in Aesir."

Paine walked quietly she was turning red herself from Kissing him on the cheek. Paine then turned back to her normal tone color and then said " No I don't and i never been to Aesir and mostly i have a couple of friends from Aesir." Paine Kept Walking " I only know a swords men from Avaren" she says to him. " But Mostly My Friends Are Mages" she say sto him as well.

[Verdan]

"Well, you should know better than me. I'm actually quite new here and barely know anyone." Verdan said. The two of them were nearing the city now, its walls seeming small on the horizon. Above it, in the sky, was the floating city of Aesir, silhouetted against the sun.

[Paine Edelias]

"Well you know me" she says to him looking at him. Paine kept walking and saw the city it looked nice. " she loved looking at the floating city. She wish she had lived somewhere in here to begin with but she didn't she lived in Avaren.

[Verdan]

"Mm... actually I don't know you. We just met yesterday." Verdan smiles and slightly picks up the pase, not even noticing it himself. He was eager to get to the city, civilization, and most importantly, a meal. He hasn't eaten since yesterday morning.



((Come on, I said you can have the honors. This could go on forever.))

((Well i guess we can make it go on forever ...lol.. sorry don't know what wrong with me today except for being sick))

"Rushing to get there are we now" she says to him looking at him trying to pic up her own pace to be able to walk with him at the same pace. " Dont go rushing off without me" she sasy to him.

[Verdan]

((Aw you're sick? I'm sorry, that's horrible. But in the middle of the summer?..))

Verdan catches himself gradually gaining speed. He slows down abruptly, going even slower than his original pace. "Sorry about that," he grins sheepishly, "I'll slow down. Promise."

[Paine Edelias]

(Yeah Im Sick And Well near the ending of my summer cause i start school in less then 4 weeks))

"Alright" she says to him. " I said that because your going way over my pace as the same as yours was before" she says to her. Paine walks alittle bit more noticing that they were getting closer.

[Verdan]

"Yea," he said grining sheepishly. "Just tell me if you need me to slow down or anything. I'm at your service. I would bow right about now, but as you can see, my hands are kinda full right now." He says, smiling at his own little joke.

[Paine Edelias]

Paine looked at him and knew what he was saying " Well i can walk on my own since i prefer" she say sto him. "But i would rather not hurt myself" Paine said as well still walking with Verdan. " Now would you like to see me walk on my leg and hurt myself more" Paine asks him jokingly. Paine smiled at him and kept walking.

[Verdan]

((Verdan presses the fast forward button. They were now in the city at a temple where priest and paladins were there to heal everyone. ;D))

Verdan and Paine stagger into the temple, destroying the calm atmosphere. The priests all got up and moved towards the pair, hoping to help in any way they can. Verdan helps Paine to the nearest bench and gently sets her down there, careful not to hurt her.

As Paine Staggers Into the Temple, Paine had noticed that it was much nicer here then Avaren. Paine had looked around finding a bench to sit on as Verdan helped her sit down on the bench not huting herself trying to hit anything.

[Verdan]

An elderly looking priest walks up to the two of them, leaning heavily on a fancy gnarled staff. "Beh! Damn kids! That's what you get for playing around!" he says in a dry, raspy voice. "Now I have to heal all your problems from your stupid little games!" With a barely noticeable motion from his hand, the bandage around Paine's leg comes off, revealing the cut. Another, more noticeable and more complex motion along with a muttered incantation and it was as if nothing was ever there. The would as if reversed its process. This was a powerful priest.

Verdan watched in amazement, his eyes becoming bigger by the minute. Once the old man was done, he collapsed onto the bench next to Paine, speechless.

Paine sat there not liking the priest who had an attitude with them being there " I'm Not a Kid" she says to the priest and sits there and is now happy that her leg is no healed. " You Okay, Verdan?" Paine says to him looking at him hoping that he is. Paine sits there just looking at him.
