strife groaned and lightly knocked his head on the wall. he had met eragon anywhere he goes...if this continues,eragon will just hate him more,thinking he followed him on purpose...

Shadow was attacked while everyone was talking, but not by anything tangable. another memory came to him. that day... they thought they had won, and walked back carelessly. thearrows didnt make a sound as they flew through the air, except for the thump. There were three thumps, followed by screams of agony. looking around, the source was clear, and the shaft sticking out of shadow's leg, Io's shoulder and Orin's forehead didnt help. he ran, and stumbled... picking himself up again, he continued running, all the way to- Shadow's eyes snapped open as he stumbled, tried to regain his balance, but then lost it again and fell forward, landing flat on his face with a thud

Eragon grabbed Shadow and forgot about not using his elf strength in the public. Especially in front of one of the King's men. He hoisted pulled Shadow up easily and ran across the street with incredible speed, ducking a passing cart nimbly and he was in the shelter within seconds, which was around fifteen yards away. He realised what he had done. He gluped.

Shadow's eyes snapped open. "eragon. Why did you move me? I think my nose is bleeding again... did i fall on anyone?" he turned his head and struggled to sit up ."Stupid memories, why do they always leave me drained?"
