Waiting......in a bad place

" sometimes life is so crual" he said
bringing an arm up he moved away some of the hair that had gotten into Tarikus face.
" i'm here, i will take care of you, i won't leave you" he told her.

[tariku]

She looked at him and smiled, touching his cheek. Then, she lightly touched the cat ears. Her smile brightened. "They're cute on you."

[napeir]

Napeir turned red
"they go away after awhile, its a side efect but it incresses my senses temperarly" he told her.
" i can do it when ever i wnat, but you saw the side effect. I lose my cloths" he laughed

[tariku]

She giggled a little. "Well, I like this side effect." She gave them one last touch before putting her hand on his cheek. "I have never met anyone like you before. Makes me wish I met you in some other town or a tavern, not in a life or death situation."

[napeir]

" sometimes the best of things can happen in the worst of situations" he said, laughing.
He then placed his arm around her shoulder.
" you must be tried, please rest" he asked.

[tariku]

Tariku realized her eyes were half-closed. She nodded, gave him a light lingering kiss, and laid her weary head on his shoulder. She smiled, Sleep beckoning her, as she slipped an arm around his waist.

[napeir]

Napeir leaned his head on her head and fell asleep aswell.

(3 hours later)

Napeir awoke, not meaning to fall asleep himself, he looked over at Tariku to see if she had awoken.

[tariku]

Tariku open her eyes, looking awake. She had awaken minutes before, watching him sleep. She smiled lovingly, gently wiping the sand from his eyes. "You sleep beautifully."

[napeir]

Napeir turned red for a minute, then looked at her.
" i'm not as beautiful as you" he said
He reached up to scrach his head, only to feel his soft and fluffed out ears.
"there still here, they usualy go away after i sleep" he said,rubbing them.

[tariku]

She giggled. "Well, if it helps, they still look cute on you." She stroked one. "Do you have an idea of why they are still here?"

[napeir]

He laughed.
"i don't know, but if you like them, then i don't mind if they stay" he said " i think it has something to do with my feelings, this is the first time i have fallen in love, so that may make them stay, the will to protect you, strengthens my senses. They must just be what is going to help me"
He leaned over and kissed her before slowly getting up. Megilan lay on a stump, and Napeir approched him.
" i need you to check around the area" he told him " make sure their are no people from the city around"
Megilan hopped down and ran into the fog.

Tariku got up, stretched, and went behind Napier, hugging him. She laid her cheek on the back on his shoulder. Her eyes looked around the fog. 'This place feels eerie,' she thought. She saw something dark in the gray mist. She shivered. It was a stone, cold and ghost-like. She held Napier a little tighter. "Where are we?"

[napeir]

"we are in Avarens graveyard, one heck of a place for a nap,huh" he asked, laughing.
" as soon as megilan returs then we will leave" he promised, turning to hug her.

[tariku]

Her eyes were stuck on the tombstone. She was so exhausted hours before that she didn't see the graveyard. She didn't like the feeling she was getting from it, a cold, knife-pricking shiver. She accepted Napier's embrace, holding onto him, hoping to warm from the icy glare of the graveyard's eyes.

[napeir]

he heald her tight, only letting go to lean down to pick up Megilan.
" he says that its all clear, we can head back to the city, or perhaps we can go to the lake for the night" he told her.
