"I can never go back to the city," she said immediately. She looked desperately at Napier. "I finally left the predjudice place, if I go back, I won't be able to leave it again. I will not be caged again." She looked fierce with her determination. "We go somewhere, anywhere, just.........never Avaren again." She felt guilt and regret drip on her, like an icy rain. "As long I am with you, I can go anywhere." She took his free hand, slowly walking backwards.

He took her hand feeling the warmth from it, then he slowly led her toward the entrance, his tail wraping around her, with Megilan right at their feet.
