Aleph chuckled. "I should hope not," he replied. "You know you're going to have a heck of a headache tomorrow, right?" He started walking with Evee. While doing so, he pulled out a silver penny and tossed it over his shoulder. He heard it land on the bar and smiled. The penny was a tip for the bartender. As they walked, he kept an eye on the bar's other patrons. Some of them seemed to be eyeing Evee very intently, and she was likely too drunk to protect herself right now. "Though I would not mind being your protector, I really don't want to start that job tonight," he said warily. If they got lucky, he wouldn't have to worry about anyone else in the bar. If they didn't get lucky, someone would be too drunk to be thinking clearly and would attack, trying to get Evee for himself.

As they walked out of the Tavern, Evee was silent. Her mind was blank but she was just silent. She wasn't really a loud drunk, she was layed back and calm. Evee looked up at Aleph, he was no where near her height so she had no choice but to look up at him. She didn't know what to say, she was just curious as to why he stayed to help her out, or stayed around her at all. "Umm...If I have this weird twisted look on my face? Run, cuz I'll have to puke....But I might get lucky and be ok, I don't think I got that drunk though...." Evee stated as she turned her head to look straight forward again.
The moon was a cresent and the cool night air matched the warm temperature outside so it was just right. Evee enjoyed feeling Aleph's warmth, she couldn't help but put her arm around his that was holding her hand and hold his hand with both of hers. She liked the feeling of someone's skin touching hers, she wasn't used to being close to anyone. She was once but he abandoned her a long time ago....

Aleph laughed at Evee's warning. "I'll certainly remember that," he said in between chuckles. When he felt her other hand grab onto his hand, he looked down and smiled. His face flushed slightly, and he was glad that the dark hid that. He was definitely starting to like Evee a lot. He just wished she weren't drunk right now so he could tell if her affections were real.
The night was beautiful and clear, and the stars shone brightly. Aleph looked up, and as he looked at the sky he could recognize one or two constellations. There was Ursa Major, and over the was the Great Wolf. The Wolf wasn't one too many people knew of, since it was one his grandfather's great grandfather had come up with. It was next to Ursa Major, and for the family was a mark of their martial tradition. Family tradition said that the Great Wolf held off the Bear and would continue to do so until the world ended or the last family member died.
Aleph nudges Evee lightly and pointed to the Wolf. "Do you see that cluster of stars there? The one just to the left of Ursa Major? That's one that one of my ancestors christened the Great Wolf. It's a special symbol for our family," he told her.

Evee looked to where Aleph pointed. She squinted her eyes to focus and then she smiled. "....Yea....It's beautiful...." Evee managed to say without sounding totally gone off alcohol. She never heard about that constellation, and who would've known it would be Aleph who told her about it? Evee could see but she couldn't focus her eyesight well enough because of the rum. She was just happy Aleph was with her so she didn't let herself go in the Tavern, most likely she would've.
As they walked a further distance, the lake appeared before them, it was sparkling in the moonlight and there were sounds of crickets and owls. It was very peaceful here and it had always been Evee's favorite place, drunk or sober. She saw the Moon's Light reflecting off the lake, it wasn't something you'd wanna pass up. Evee smiled more before she let go of Aleph's hand, she managed to wobble to the lake's edge and plop down in the grass. Her cloak was slid down showing her shoulders, the moon's light shining on them.
Evee stared out at the lake waters, knowing she was too drunk to go swiming so she sat there expressionless. Her hair blew around her like a black phantom that danced. "....Aleph? Tell me more about your family....Please?" Evee asked as she still had her eyes focused on the lake. Though she still had Aleph's face in her mind.

Aleph sat down next to Evee. As he turned to look at her, he suddenly realized why everyone had been staring at her in the bar. In there she'd been rather pretty, but out here in the moonlight, she was absolutely beautiful. "Well," he began, "My grandfather's great grandfather, Idrisul, was the first in our family to be a warrior. He actually fought in the war between Avaren and Aesir, but no one knows on which side anymore. He's also the one who named the constellation and started the habit of wearing the image of a wolf's head on his left glove." He held up his left hand and an embroidered wolfhead could just barely be seen in the dark. "Since then, every man in the family has been a warrior," he continued. "Including my grandfather, Granroa, and my father, Aranroth. The 'il' in my name isn't really a last name, it means 'son of.'" he explained. He lay back before continuing the monologue. "My grandfather was in the milita until he was too old, and then he became a farmer. My father was also in the militia, but he got injured in a training excercise and had to leave. He and my grandfather raised me after my mother was gored to death by a maddened bull. Then, 5 years ago, my grandfather died when he fell off a cart. After that, my father gave me leave to go pursue my own path as a warrior. He and my grandfather had taught me some basics of fighting, but I learned more when I wandered for 4 years. Last year I came back to help my father with the farming. But every summer I go off for three months to work as a mercenary."
Aleph had been so absorbed in his tale that he wouldn't have noticed it Evee had been bored at all. Hopefully she wasn't.

Evee smiled as she listened to his story, she was rather interested now. His family history was so different from hers. Evee looked over her shoulder at Alpeh, seeing him lay in the grass in such a comfortable position made her stare for a moment before she looked away again. He seemed to have been on his own alot, so he no doubt had plenty of experience in the real world. Evee herself was forced to be an adult at only 7 yrs. old so she knew too well how the world works.
Evee layed back as well, her breasts siting up and her hair spread across the grass, she didn't care how her legs were. Her head was right across from Aleph's and she looked over at him with a smile, little circles of light was in her ruby eyes from the moon. Evee looked at Aleph expressionless for a moment, not saying anything. "...You come from a long line of warriors then I assume." Evee said to him still expressionless, just calm. The rum started to wear off but only slightly.

"Yeah, I'm the sixth generation," Aleph replied. He turned his head to look over at Evee and was surprised to find her face so close to his. He'd noticed that she'd lain down, but he hadn't realized just how close she was. Not that he minded. "I would ask about your family, but, well...you know..." He trailed off. He didn't want to be impolite or anything, and he definitely didn't want the conversation to die, but he was having trouble thinking of exactly what to say. Which was odd. It was a very rare thing for him to get tongue-tied at all.

Evee finally let a smile play on her lips when he hesitated to ask about her family. "It's ok." Evee paused. She then looked up at the sky before begining again. "I am a princess of the Natalia nobles...I'm just a lost royal now. My family has a crest that looks like a flame, but it's ice blue. I come from a bloodline of mages, now that my mother and father are gone...I'm the only one left. Maybe that's what my parent's killers hated about them, their power....But what do I know? I'm just a stupid girl like this one peasant told me...7 yrs. old and some old drunkard tells me I'm a stupid girl, and he knew who I was. I didn't tell my father about that because I know he would've either imprisoned him or beheaded the guy. I'd do that for my kid too.....No doubt about it....." Evee said with a half serious tone, she hated people like that. People that say bad things about you just to make themselves feel better. Evee back over at Aleph, she saw he was a bit silent. "Is there something else you, want to tell me?" Evee said sounding a bit better now, maybe the fresh air was making her feel a little better.

Aleph agreed with Evee that he would protect or aveng his child like that. If he ever fathered a child, that was. At this point that looked rather unlikely, but one never knew. Maybe he'd get lucky and find a woman he wouldn't mind settling down with. Aleph stared at her, half lost in thought, half just admiring her beauty.
He started when she asked him something, and he had to rack his brains to try to think of what she'd said. While he hadn't consciously heard it, it seemed he'd heard it unconsciously and he heard himself murmur, "You mean besides how beautiful you are?" He meant what he said, even though he hadn't meant to say it, and he blushed furiously. He was sure she could see it, even in the dim light.

Evee giggled slightly when Aleph complimented her. "....Thank you....Though you aren't too shy of handsome yourself...." She said as she admired his obvious blush. It was funny, she got drunk, and ended up at a beautiful lake with a handsome gentleman. Evee turned on her side still facing Aleph, her head resting on her hand now. Evee stared in his eyes, they were like blue crystals. Evee's raven hair and ruby eyes were definately uncommon, no one in her family had these traits that she knew of.
Evee's other hand rested freely next to Aleph's head. She just stared into Aleph's eyes, she didn't expect him to say that, not even close to that. Her hand was itching to creep over to Aleph's brown thick locks and run her fingers through it, but she thought it would be rude to touch him when she wasn't sure he'd mind. "Did you mean to say that or is it the mead talking?" Evee asked with a smile, curious if he meant to say it.

Aleph's blush was dying down somewhat slowly. "I haven't had enough mead for that to be the mead talking," he said. He smiled a little shyly. Though he wasn't a complete novice in the art of romance, he was still rather inexperienced. The proximity of Evee's face to his was making him want to kiss her or do something dimilar, but he didn't want to upset or offend her. Unfortunately, he had no idea of what to say anymore and had to content himself with just staring at her. Not that it was difficult to enjoy doing so.

Evee just smiled at him before she sat up again, her hair coming off the ground like a blanket. "I think I'll get my feet wet, since I'm too smashed to swim...." Evee said jokingly as she forced herself up and walked close enough to put her feet in the water. Evee took her cotton footwear off and put her feet into the water slowly. She closed her eyes relaxing with every inch of her foot that went into the water. "Ah, that feels good....." Evee said with a relaxing sigh as she put her head back. Standing there in the water she felt better, it was cooling her off. Tonight seemed so perfect, even better Aleph was here with her. She slightly turned around to look a him. Evee said nothing but she did look at him and smile.

((OOC: So I'm Sleph now? )) Aleph stood and joined Evee in the water. He returned her smile as he stood there, the cool water splashing against his legs. He slowly brought his arm up around her shoulders. He wasn't sure how she'd react, but there was only one way to find out. With any luck, she wouldn't get too mad or anything. If worst came to worst, he was wearing armor, so she couldn't hurt him too much. ((OOC: Ack. My posts are getting really crappy.))

OOC: I fixed that sorry >_< the 's' is right by the 'a' so yea IC: Evee looked over at Aleph quickly when he put his arm around her shoulder. His hand was warm and comforting to the touch. All Evee could do was look away and out to the distance. She didn't know what to say but she certainly didn't mind it. Evee's heart was beating a little faster now, she was close to him like this before but this time it was different somehow. A hint of affection was there somehwere, whether it was from both of them Evee wasn't sure but she was happy to be with him at any rate. Suddenly, a completely random question rolled off Evee's tongue. "...Aleph...Do you feel, anything for me?" Evee said turning and facing him with a serious look in her eyes. She looked him quare in the eyes and wanted an answer, her ruby orbs focused on his blue ones. She rather he asked first but she couldn't wait anymore. Evee was close enough to have her breasts and stomach against his chest and stomach, she didn't back away.

Aleph was extremely surprised by the question. He knew what he wanted to say, but the words seemed to be dissolving on the path between his brain and his mouth. He knew he had to say something, anything, or he'd likely lose Evee. And that was just about the last thing he wanted. His eyes roamed over her face as he tried to get his mouth to function correctly. It wasn't until his eyes locked with hers that he could actually speak again. "Evee, I...well, I feel very deeply for you. I like you a hell of a lot," he said softly. He wanted to say something more, but he didn't know what or how. He simply stayed silent and waited for her reply.
