Weirdest Of Places

[Ariadne]

Ariadne slowly walked in the tavern trying not to bring too much attention upon herself. First trying to look around her surroundings and find an empty corner where she would be left alone. She saw an empty corner in the far right of the room where the light was dimmly lit..perfect she thought. But first was first she needed to go get a drink. She passed swiftly a couple of rowdy old drunks and sat upon a chair at the bar and ordered her self some Gin. She wasnt legal yet but she didnt seem to mind she didnt really fancy alcohol. So she waited while the bartender prepared her drink. While she waited she studied her surrounding. This wasnt the perfect place for a young lady to be in, but Ariadne didnt seem to care. As she has always liked adventure and she tends to find them in the weirdest of places.

[Tallice Sanada]

Tallice saw a girl walk into the Tavern. As the girl approached the bar asking for a drink. "What'll ya have dear?" Tallice asked the girl. As the girl told her, Tallice turned and made her the drink. Handing it to her "There ya go dear. 1 silver that'll be." Tallice said. Grabbing a rag, she started cleaning the bar counter off from spilt drinks.

Ariadne handed her the money and muttered a thanks as she turned to leave to her corner.

[Dakota Atwood]

Dakota had been walking, trying not to pickpocket..she knew it was wrong, but some people here, they were so rich, if one coin would go missing, they wouldn't even notice. The small girl had been looking around, to her sides, not bothering to look infront of her, her bare feet acheing. The sand wasn't all that nice, it had rocks, some glass in it...

The young orphan let otu a small whimper as she felt herself turn into Ariadne, sending herself backwards, landing on her bum. She didn't mean to let herself go off guard so Easily, it wasn't something that was planned..Biting her lip tightly, she stared up at her, fear in her eyes. What if she called the guards? She would be sent back to the orphange..Quickly stumbleing to her feet, she shook her head.."I-i-ii'm s-so sorry Ma'am.." She paused slightly, tears filling up her eyes...

Maybe if she ran for it, maybe that would be the best thing? But she couldn't she was already frozen in her own fear... Her mind screamed for her to run, bot her legs stayed bolted to the ground..

As Ariadne walked back to her seat she felt a slight tap she turned around quickly with anger in her eyes thinking it was old drunkards being fresh but she found herself looking upon a small child with the look of fear in her eyes. Immediately her eyes soften and she smiled at the child warmly"Its okay child" Ariadne said as she stroke the childs cheeck catching the falling tears from the frightened child. "My name is Ariadne, and yours" ariadne asked with concern

[Dakota Atwood]

"D-d-dakota At-t-twood" The young one backed up slightly, wiping her own tears, staring at the ground. She had saw the anger in Ariadne's expression, it was probably her fault too.."I-i-i Really didn't mean t-t-to.."

Shaking slightly, Dakota backed up a little, bumping into someone else, out of accident of course, causing them to spill a fresh basket fruit. Normally Dakota would have ran, but once again fear ran threwout her body.."I-" Dakota started to reply alhtough she was soon interupted.." YOU FILTHY CHILD! LOOK WHAT YOU HAVE DONE! " Dakota whimpered slightly, tears flooding her eyes..biting her cheek to make sure she didn't start tp cry..

" I'm sorry Sir..I-i didn't s-s-see you.." The man seemed to shake his head, hitting the girl over the head, as he walked off. She wobbled to the ground, before picking herself up..More dust wouldn't hurt..Although she grabbed her wrist, rubbing it slightly, ignoring her tears..

[Tallice Sanada]

Tallice looked at the guy who hit the child "Don't you dare hit that child. What kind of man are you to hit such an innocent child." as she rushed out from behind the counter picking the little girl up. "Hi, I'm Tallice the bartender here. Are you ok dear?" she asked taking her apron up in her hand to dry the little girls tears. "Let me see your wrist." she said gently taking ahold of the little girls arm looking at it as she let go of her apron. "The nerve of that man, I swear. I promise you he won't do that again." she said kissing her wrist. "Would you like some milk, sweetie?"

Ariadne looked at the guy who had hit Dakota. Angered started filling her veins.As her hair started turning a darker color. And her eyes usually a golden yellow now turned dark purple that matches her hair. One thing that she could not stand was when people hurt the innocent. Ariadne had gotten in countless of arguments and fights as a child because she wasnt afraid to rise above anyone to complete for what she felt was right. As Ariadne looked up to the mans eye she looked at him in pure disgust and looked down and she exhaled air in the direction of his feet up to his neck. As the man was now a ice statue except for his head of course. Not really caring for the rude man.

Ariadnes attention was now on Dakota as she saw her with the bartender.

The young one let out a small squeek and a little jump as she felt someones arms wrap around her to pick her up. She looked up at the Bartender, with a small confused expression...Who would want to pick the dirty child up? She wasn't good for anything...exept for getting mud all over soemone else. Tensing up a little, as she showed her small wrist to the Lady. She was thankful that she promised such a thing, but dakota already knew that prmises didn't mean a thing. They never did to the girl. Keeping her head bowed, she stared at her knees, before looking up..

Milk? They never gave out milk, only on special occasions, like christmas or something. Biting her lip, the young orphan, smiled slightly, taking out a dusty coin. It wasn't worth much..."I only have enough for a little.." Dakota looked towards the other lady, that she had bumped into biting her lip..she couldn't have been just a normal person..with her jaw hanging open as she watched her..."Wow.." Dakota managed to let out..

Ariadne walked to the counter slowly as many heads were turned to watch her as if what shes gonna do next? after the little incident that happened. "So are you okay little one?" Ariadne asked Dakota as she finally reached the young one.

The Little Dakota nodded, biting her lip, as she looked around. She was amazed of how warm the ladys arms were, but then again, Daktoa hadn't really been Carried..unless she knew she did something wrong.." Y-y-yes Ma'am.." Dakota smiled slightly at Ariadne...she must have been a Mage! Dakota had heard lots about Mage's..

"Thats good to know" Ariadne said as she smiled. " So whats a little girl like you doin in a place like this?" Ariadne asked the girl. "This isnt exactly a playground" Ariadne said. As she looked around.

[Tallice Sanada]

"Here sit up here." as Tallice placed Dakota on as stool "Keep your coin hun, milk is on the house." she smiled. Tallice walked behind the counter watching Ariadne and Dakota talk while she was fixing the milk. "Yes, what brought you in here?" Tallice asked wondering. She stepped out from behind the counter with a glass of milk handing it to Dakota "Here you go sweetie. If you want another one let me know." She smiled. "Ma'am" she said looking at Ariadne "Would you like something to drink?" she asked.

Ariadne smiled as the bartender called her ma`m. It was the first time someone had addressed her as an adult. "No thank you, Im not quite thirsty anymore. But if my thirst comes back I`ll inform you." Ariadne told the bartender. She turned her attention back to Dakota. And waited for her response.

The girl smiled, as she looked up towards Tallice, with a small nod, looking at the glass of Milk rather happily...She felt like it was christmas! Taking a small sip, letting the liquid last longer, Dakota looked towards Ariadne...."I..was.." She scrunched up her noise..What was she goingt o say? She was pick pocketing here? No she couldn't have said that... "I Stumbled in..Curiosity Miss.. " She bit her lip,hoping to make it somewhat belivable.
