Tori blocked his blows with relative ease, showing her skill with a scythe to be beyond most. She began to think of this as simply another chore, a removal of garbage. She was merely taking out the trash, and this man happened to be that trash. She should cut it up, and use it as fertilizer. She removed one of her hands from the scythe, feeling that there was no need for her to hold it with both, her opponent was so weak. Her fighting style began to degrade into a style-less discipline, still trained and steady, but formless and slow, nonetheless.

Elsemir watched as the assassin threw blow after blow in a one handed fassion. This was begining to become insulting. Elsemir let go his rage and hammered at her. He drove at her and pushed her slightly back, forcing her to return her hand to the sythe and focus.

Elsemir's sword caught Tori's pocket as she dodged his blows, continuing to use one-handed strikes to deflect his blows. The sword ripped through her pocket, and something small flew in the direction of the door. It impacted the door, and landed on the floor nearby with a metallic sound. Tori's skirt now had a tear straight through it where the sword had sliced her pocket. She was getting annoyed with him, and so swung her scythe in a horizontal, sweeping motion, as fast ashe she could.

Elsemir hadnt bothered with the noise or the thing. It had saved his life. He swung his sword up to block the sythe, he wouldnt have had a chance if he had looked. The warriors training was simple. The battle matters. Not what was around the battle. He let the sword clang against the sythe and let the recoil send both weapons reeling. As the recoil was still fresh he shot out a hand to distract the assassin whilst he sent out a foot to hit her in the leg.

Tori quickly regained her balance, and leapt over Elsemir, instead of blocking, like he might have figured she would do. She pulled the scythe down toward him with all the weight of her body behind it, as she passed over him. She landed behind him, and wheeled about with another horizontal slash, once again holding the scythe mid-way down the handle. This time, however, she caught his sword handle with her scythe and pulled. It was her intent to disarm him, even if it meant losing her own weapon. As her stance shifted to pull on his sword, the small object was knocked into a small bit of light. It was the key to the door that Tori had been keeping in her pocket.

Elsemir watched the leap over him. He watched the sythe come to his sword. He watched as both weapons flew from their owners hands. He watched as the clattered on the floor. She reacted first, going for her weapon, she was closer so Elsemir had no chance. Instead he looked around him for an advantage. The little object that clanged earlier. Elsemir clanked towards it. He grabbed it and made towards the door. Leaving his sword he undid the latch.

Tori grabbed her scythe, not waiting to see Elsemir do the same. He would never abandon the battle like the cowards of the past. She looked about, as she reached her scythe, preparing to swing, but it seemed as if Elsemir had other plans, and wasn't about to allow himself to die. She moved across the room and reached for his sword. The coward didn't need it. She would smite him with his own heathen sword. She raised the sword with one hand, beginning to run toward him. Just as she did so, the lock clicked and the door opened. She continued running toward him, sword raised, and he should have no time to take the key with him, should he continue to flee.

Elsemir cracked a smile as the door clicked open. The assassin was running towards him. It was too late, he moved to counter her. He grabbed the sword hand, leaving the sythe hand alone. He ripped the sword out and let their duel continue...

Tori had released the sword with little effort to keep it. She would give this heathen a chance. After all, a warrior of the Lord God must be kind and show mercy, even if this was a heathen. At least, so she rationalized. In reality, she merely wished to continue fighting. The high that she was experiencing in battle for the Lord God was something she could not mimic elsewhere. Thus, she decided to let him continue fighting. He seemed to have left the key in the door, however. That was good. She would not have any heathens keeping a key to Avaren castle. She lept over him, once again, bringing her scythe down vertically, in a half-hearted attempt to wound him. She was more concerned with the key, and where it was. She landed near the doors, and whirled about quickly, not leaving her back towards her opponent.

Elsemir blocked the downward blow and watched her land at the door, "A wise move assassin." He charged at her "But not wise enough."

As much fun as it would be to have an injury to tend, Tori thought sarcastically. She stepped to the side opposite his sword arm, to keep him from being able to hit her with full force, and stuck her scythe out. He was stupid for charging like that. Only a true fool would recklessly charge her, of all people. She would have fun with him. Her scythe touched the floor just before his feet, and she smiled conceitedly. The idiot would trip himself on her scythe, and be left wide open for an attack. He didn't seem the type to be able to figure out that her poor stance didn't mean her guard was down. She had this trap figured out perfectly. As soon as he hit the ground, he could not live. She held the handle near the bottom, so that, in the case that he did not trip, she would pull the scythe backwards, and slice him in half. Her eyes narrowed, finally showing the signs that she had killed many.

Elsemir caught the glimmer of steel in his eye and jumped up and almost ever the sythe, he struck out his free hand in a fist and hit her in the back of the head. He landed on the other side, sword ready.
