Up for a Drink

[Tallice Sanada]

After her last customer had left the tavern, Tallice removed her apron from her slim waist sitting it upon the bar counter. She reached up for a small glass from above her head, sitting the glass on the counter then reaching for the scotch bottle. Opening the bottle of scotch, she poured the drink about half way into the glass then capped the bottle. Tallice sat the bottle of scotch on the counter and sat down on the bar stool behind her.

Looking out at the empty tables, she saw empty mugs and glasses half full knowing she was going to have to clean them. "What a mess." she sighed taking a sip of her scotch drink. Sitting on her stool she began to wonder to herself if she would ever meet someone to spend the rest of her life with. Not realizing she downed her drink, Tallice looked down at the empty glass "Well, time to get back to work." she said putting her glass into the sink.

She got up from her stool grabbing the rag, then turned the water on in the sink to rinse it out and wet it to wipe the tables. Turning the water off and ringing out the cloth a bit, she walked out from behind the counter to the tables. Tallice set the rag on the table and walked to the door to open it for fresh air. She then returned to the table where she left the rag and began to wash it. She decided to sing a song while she worked to help pass the time by.

She began to sing a song, Tallice's voice was as beautiful as angels singing. A gust of wind went through the tavern and back out carrying Tallice's song out with it.

[Allen †]

Eragon sighed as he heard singing. It sounded like Arya. He followed the voice and saw Tallice. He grinned, "Hello." He said politely. "No suprise to see you here, you're a bartender."

[Tallice Sanada]

Tallice jumped looking to see who it was"Oh, Hi Eragon." as she smiled "What brings you here?" she inquired finishing up her last table then walked to the bar to put the rag in the sink.

[Allen †]

'Your voice." Eragon said simply. "I heard you singing. You do have a lovely voice." He commented.

[Tallice Sanada]

"Ohh," blushing ten different shades of red "Thank you." she said turning around with her face bright red "Not very many people have heard me sing. As a matter of fact, I believe you are the first to hear it." she grinned. "You sure, know how to make a woman blush without trying." smirking. "Come in sit down, can I get you anything?" she asked.

[Allen †]

Eragon grinned. "Maybe some mead, actually." He said thoughtfully. "Am I really the first to hear you sing? You sing better than all the humans I heard before."

[Tallice Sanada]

Tallice walked behind the bar grabbing a clean mug that she had just washed up fixing his mead for him. Pulling down another glass she poured some scotch into it about half full for her. She put everything back in its place except the mug and glass. Bringing them out from behind the bar she handed him his drink and took a sip of hers. "Thanks, my parents told me I had the voice of an angel. But I don't think that's true, but it was a great compliment." she smiled.

[Allen †]

Eragon grinned and put a gold coin on the table. "thanks. " He said and he slowly drank his mead.

[Tallice Sanada]

She looked at him confused as he put the coin on the table "No uh uh, my treat." she said picking the coin up placing it back in his hand smiling. "So are you seeing anyone?" Tallice asked taking another sip from her glass. "I'm just curious." she added while outlining the rim of the glass with her finger.

[Allen †]

"Seeing anyone?" He asked her, frowning. "You mean if I am meeting anyone else?"

[Tallice Sanada]

"No, as in with anyone, together, romantically." rolling her eyes with a smile. "Nevermind, silly question." smirking. "Tallice make a fool of yourself why don't you." she said to herself.

[Allen †]

Eragon shook his head. "No... Well, not all questons are silly." He smiled at Tallice. "Thanks for the treat."

[Tallice Sanada]

"Mmm, well mine was and your welcome." she said "My pleasure" she added. "So, what is a handsome guy like you doing single?" she inquired watching each expression that came and gone from his face. "I mean surely you would have girls after you constantly." smiling as she took another sip of her scotch.

[Allen †]

Eragon grinned. "I think I am not handsome to other girls. So far, you're the only one saying I am handsome. I don't think I am though...' He said, kneading the handle of his cup.

[Tallice Sanada]

"Well, I see you for both inside and outside." she said as she got up from the stool to go close the door to the tavern. Walking back "Well, you probably wouldn' t want to be with someone like me." shocked that those words came out of her mouth, she stopped dead in her tracks. Looking at him, she looked down walking back to the bar and finished her drink. "Care for another?" she asked him avoiding eye contact.
