Færys wasn't very fond of Avaren's ease of access, but she needed someplace to work. After a time, she had found this tavern, and had decided to ask the owner if he or she needed entertainment for the pub. She walked in, noticing immediately the brutish manner of the occupants. She walked to the bar counter, and called out, "Excuse me? May I please speak to the owner?" She hoped that the magic induced by her dances would be atributed to the grace by which she preformed them. She looked about, and found what she thought was a stage that she could use to dance on. Maybe the owner would want a singer, though. Oh, well. At least Fæ could do that, too. She waited nervously, her eyes darting around the room.

"I've been good with music since I was 9," Fae replied, cautious at first, "And I was looking for someplace to dance or sing. I figured that someone might not mind the entertainment here. I am told that my singing is almost like magic." This was not true. Færys knew full well the power that she wielded when she sang and danced. She was not fond, however, of revealing herself so openly as to draw attention. This reason alone kept her from preforming often, as she knew her dance and song were quite the attention-getters. Even preforming once was very risky, but Færys felt she would never get the food she desperately needed otherwise, having no money to claim as her own.

Fæ began to think that this job was offered almost too easily, but kept to herself. It wouldn't look good if she came off as a bad person. She merely decided that it was important that she watch over everyone and make sure no one tried anthing. "Thank you very much," Færys replied, her voice devoid of any indication of suspicion. It was this acting that had allowed her to keep an eye on those who thought to kill her while her guard was down. "When... should I start? Which would you prefer I do? Or would you rather both." Then, realizing that she had completely ignored Susan, gasped. "Oh, sorry! I was paying more attention to... umm... Miss Tallice, here. Well, Miss Susan, my parents didn't quite force music on me. I always loved it." If this Susan only knew, she would find that I am here because my father did quite the opposite. Fæ thought to herself.
"Perhaps I should start by showing you what my dancing and singing is like?" Fæ asked Tallice, turning back to her prospective employer. She waited patiently for an answer, hoping it would be in the affirmative.

Fæ looked quickly at Susan, and then turned back to thought. She began to dance almost impulsively, even with no music, leaping to and fro with the grace of a swan and the agility of a cat. She spun mid-leap occasionally. Her dance attracted the attention of most of the bar, but she didn't seem to care, anymore. She was far too busy dancing to worry about her life. She stopped suddenly, embarrassed at having so quickly forgot her own conversation to dance to music that no one else could hear. She looked at the owner, her face turning a subtle shade of pink. "S-sorry. I... I get like that sometimes..."

"Town watch? Is that so? You must be really important! I come from..." Fæ realized quickly that she had almost blurted out the truth about her father. She would have to be more careful. After a pause she said, "Geez... I forget. It's been nine years. Left when I was ten." Fæ looked at the floor for a few seconds. "Ah! I still haven't told you my name, have I!? Færys Sa... I mean Færys Tiranas. Silly me, I almost called myself by my old last name. I really don't like my father, you see..."
