Tallice walked into her room and laid down on her bed. She thought about what she had said and what she should do. She looked at the picture on her wall of her real mother and father hoping that she will find the same love and happiness with Eragon if it ever got to that.

"Maybe I should just stuff myself." Eragon thoguht bitterly and looked as Tallice went into her own room. He buttoned his shirt back and pulled on his boots quietly and crept out of the Tavern.

Tallice got up and walked back into the room Eragon was staying in. She noticed he was gone, she ran downstairs and out the door "Eragon!" as she ran up to him. "Where are you going?" she asked.

Eragon looked back, outside was dark and had started to rain. He hurried down the streets, away from Tallice. He did not know why he felt... afraid.
