The horse finally stpped in front of the alleyway where Christine lived. She gently brought Eragon down from the horse and layed him down on a blanket. She leaned down and listened to his chest for a heartbeat but didn't hear it. She looked at the dragon, crying silently

Saphira put her head onto Eragon chest, humming deeply, her eyes sparkling. Eragon. She repeated. The buzzing in her mind grew stronger. Saphira? said a unsure voice in her mind. Eragon stirred. Yes. Eragon opened his eyes wearily and smiled at Saphira. Then he moved his eyes over to Christine."Christine... are you alright?" He asked, sitting up gingerly.

Eragon laughed weakly. "I am suprised the soldiers didn't catch up. For a moment, I thought I lost one good friend too." He said, grinning. "Saphira..." He said, patting the dragon. The dragon continued humming.

Christine's heart sank...Sapphira.She would never be as good as Sapphira his dragon...She sighed and tried to smile. "I'm glad you're alight she said. "she leaned over and kissed his lips softly, like a real kiss would be "Thank you" she said quietly after a moment. and walked over sit and feed the goat.

Eragon choked when she kissed him. He patted his chest and Spahira laughed. OOOOH LOveeeeee. Saphira smirked. Eragon ahd half a mind to slap Saphira. "What was that for?!" He said as he looked at Christine feed her goat. He wiped his mouth."Its-Its okay. You don't have to thank me but..."

Christine looked at the ground angrily. "Look nevermind. I needed to get that out of my system I thought you were dead beacuse you saved me. So I just...oh nevermind. You and your dragon will just laugh like everyone else. I thought I might have found someone I really like, but you know what..nevermind it's stupid to you right.." she said her tone lowering as she didn't even look at him.
She looked at her sack of coins she earned. "Here. You'll probably want this more as a thanks"
(that was funny lol.. I cracked up)
