"He was." Eragon said quietly. "Lets not talk about this depressing subject anymore. Lets talk about something else." But Eragon was clearly affected by this. His dragon crawled out of his woodframe pack and nipped his finger affectionately, as if comforting him.

Christine smiled gently. "Wel..thank you for saving me" she smiled and leaned down to kiss his cheek. "It was really brave..for a warrior." she laughed

Eragon flushed. "Err... no problem." He said, embarassed. "Thanks." He looked down at his dragon. Eeps! The dragon was looking up at him, squeaking, which to Eragon sounded like a laugh.

"Yes, I think so." Eragon wondered of he REALLY was alright afterall. He loved Arya, but Arya didn't like him...
"Sorry... I was never kissed by a girl...erm...before." He said truthfully.

Christine giggled "Eragon..It wasn't a kiss like I'm in love with you. It wasjust a thank you" she smiled. "Don't be embaressed. I've never been kissed either. It's not a bad thing"

"I am just... wary of girls. " he said. He has been scared of girls. And mystefied by them. He found them weird. Like Roran and Katrina and Arya. Nasuada and Trinna. He was mystified by his connection with them. "I still think a kiss is a bad thing. I just... don't really like being touched by erm, a girl. But no offence.I am glad." He said quickly.

Christine shook her head. "You're 15. Of coarse you'rescared of them" she giggled. " I'm sorry for it then." she said getting up and feeding her goat with some bread she had...very little.

Eragon grinned. "Nah, its alright. Just take this as... " He can't think of a word to use. "Think it as a trial then." He said and got up. He folded the blanket neatly and placed it on the bed. He looked at the goat. "This goat must be your only friend here, I guess."

Eragon nodded quietly. "I guess I must be on my way. I was actually going to the warrior's barracks." He grinned at her. "Thanks for the hospitality. Adios for now." He shouldered his pack and his dragon curled up in his arms. Eragon winked at Christine and walked out of the alley, whistling.
