Elsemir was going to meet a mage, he was advised to meet a mage so that he could get a better understanding of his history. He stopped as the smell of cooked meat. It was a stall with a large selection of fresh meat, no time, thought the warrior as he made his way to the meeting point. More smells and noises drifted towards him, the sheer wolume of things was traumatic. An isolated person could easily suffer a break of the mind. He turned up the street to face the bar that was near the market. He went inside to find his mage.
Cain's note: Like I've said before, I'd please like to see a refraining from denoting who can and can't post in thread titles. If you really wish to be left alone, please state so in an out of character note in the beginning of your post.

OOC: Now, now, invite only is no fun, my friend... We shouldn't try to just make posts with just us. That wouldn't be right. I think I would like to have some warriors to fight against, but maybe that's just me, itching for a challenge. Seems no one of my level wants to RP fight me...
BIC: Akai wandered around the market, thinking that she may be able to assist in bringing this hellish country down if she looked at it from the inside. If she got into a fight with the guards, that was all the better. Of course, her wish was granted soon after her entrance to the market, as a guard stopped her and began to caress her in "unbecomming" ways. Her response to this was not much in the way of friendly. She sent him flying into a wall with a powerful kick. He didn't seem to be able to put up much of a fight. She guessed he was new. "New recruits shouldn't go around acting like they own the city. You do that again, and shove that sword of yours right through your chest." With that, she pulled her staff up, and brought it down right between his legs. "That should end any want to do that again," she smirked, as he grabbed his groin, making distinct groaning noises. She brought her staff back up, and laid it across her shoulders, still smiling. "It's alright. Some idiot recruit decided to hit on me the wrong way," Akai reassured the worried people that had been watching her, "You'd have to be pretty stupid to pick on a woman like me."
She looked around, and seeing that the other guards in the area had taken her side, sufficed herself with entering a bar she had seen not too far from where she had stood. She walked in, and made a small ruckus as she knocked a few drunks out of the way, and ordered a drink, herself.

Elsemir watched the young womans entrance from the comparititve safety of a seat. He laughed as the grumbling drunks moved slowly out of the bar. He watched for a while as the bar slowly began to grumble back into its old ways before going up to meet the young warrior. He tapped her on the shoulder, she spun a hand out to strike him on the face, which he caught with his own hand. "Now that wasnt very friendly, i only wanted to talk, will you join me?"
ooc. sorry i used your character i just needed to add a bit more to my post...

Alenya wandered into the market, her hood in it standard place: hiding her face. She knew she shouldn't be here. She knew that everytime she left Aesir she was signing her death sentence. But that just added to the thrill. And besides, she had a right to explore the land that was once her home. And it wasn't only homesickness that brought her time and time again to the filthy streets of the human town. She was constantly looking for her brother and his sworn vengence on her for 'turning traitor' as he had so eloquently put it. For years, she had tried to stay out of his way, but now...now she just wanted to show him that a mage could be equal to a warrior in many ways. But it was too early for that now. She wandered around the market, looking at all the available wares, but always keeping an eye on the milling warriors, eyeing their visible weapons, searching clothing for hidden ones, figuring each threat factor each person presented.

OOC: Excused. Next time ask, ok?
"Join you?" Akai looked at him, and wondered if he meant "joining him" in an "improper" sense. In that case, she would have to beat some sense into this idiot. She had just finished dealing with one, she could deal with another. She was up to a little hand to hand. She was hoping to have taken this frustration out on his face when he stopped her. At least he hadn't done anything to piss her off. Yet. She looked at him intently, waiting for his answer. Luckily for him, she wouldn't have to beat his face in. Yet.

"I mean it in the most innocent way possible my lady, i need one with your combat skills, or i will have need, in a little while later." The large warrior waved a had over to his table, his large beer still sitting there, the head dissolveing into the lager.

Alenya's eyes finally landed on two warriors, one female and one male. Her ears picked up somewhat pleasant talk as well as some hostile body language from the girl. The male tried to calm her and invite her to his table, mentioning something about 'combat skills'. She frowned; each was obviously armed and spoke dangerously. By nature, she was a peaceful person, but would be happen to fight to the pain if all other options for reconciliation had been exhausted. She tried to decide. Should she be forward and walk up to them, risking an attack, or should she stay here and try to figure out their standing on mages?

ooc. alenya could you come over
"I will be in great need of a close combat fighter in a few moments, i have an escort to accompany out of this city, she believes she may be killed in these times of madness, i am to be paid for her safe keeping and you will recieve a fair slice of the pay" He whispered to her, careful not to get too close to her. "Now will you talk with me or will i look elsewhere?"

Akai looked at him and smiled. Now he was speaking in words that pleased her. "A fair slice of the pay, huh? That sounds good to me." She stood up quickly, grabbing her staff tightly. It seemed as though she would have some fun today, after all. She looked at the man as he talked to her. She figured she didn't really care who it was helping, as long as it hurt Avaren. She walked over, taking her drink, and gulping it, at which the bartender said, "Young Miss, I wouldn't drink that all at once!" Apparently, the bartender thought her just a normal woman. Oh well, his opinion didn't matter. She reached the table, and sat down, putting her feet up casually, waiting for him to go with her.

Elsemir watched as the woman dropped the pint of ale into her throat. Impressive. He thought to himself. "Now that that is seen to, i will give you 45% of the total pay that i recieve." He sat down on the chair. "All that needs to be done is we escort a mage out of the city and maybe to a safe house, and then you may return, but there is a problem, i expect an ambush near to where we are now." He heaved a sigh and drained his ale. "Knowing the risk do you accept."

OOC: Sorry for the shortness, but I've taken three days, and I still can't think of more than one sentence...
BIC: "Of course I accept. It's not like I wasn't looking for danger, anyways," Akai replied, smirking back at him, as if to confirm her intent.

Alenya swallowed hard and stepped over toward the two conversing members of the militia. "Pardon my interruption, but I couldn't help but overhear your little plot. You are in need of a mage? Well, if you would be so kind as to fill me in on the details of your plot, i might find reason to assist you," she said to the man.

"You would do well not to eves drop my lady but i think there might be purpose to your predicament." He offered her a chair and continued. "I was told be a friend to meet here with a mage, which i presume is you, he told me to escort the mage out of the city before the next large scale witch hunt." He cast an eye over the mage, "are you the one im supposed to escort from these walls?"

Alenya considered. "I suppose I could be. I have already been caught and escaped once by a woman of the church, so if it is necessary for the guards to recognize me or my name, i could be that mage. And besides, I have grown sick of the prejudice toward my kind in this city. Perhaps it is time I leave for a bit until your kind wisens up that most of us mages aren't looking to harm you." She was silent for moment. "How exactly do you plan to carry this out? It is not in my best interest to gain any sort of harm."

"I know that you mean no harm, because i mean noharm, i like it as simple as that," He slid a hand to a pocket and produced a paper with a map drawn on it, simple yet effective. "As for my plan there are two options, number one, we leave by the front door, no one will suspect it but it will take a bit of guts and luck to pull this off, the second plan is to exit via the sewers, no one will go there for the fact that it smells and the rumors of what lurks down there, i have worked out the how of both plans and checked several times, these cannot fail without some kind of disaster, as to which one we take, thats up to you my lady."
