More Boards

Seeing as many characters are getting themselves hurt, I suggest making a hospital type board for each city where people come with injuries and whatnot. Also, if a war is to break out that will also come in handy.

Yea that's a good idea. ^_^ I think we should have more boards too. especially a hospital board.

Well, I'd simply like to state that too many boards can kill a site. Besides in these days they didn't really have hospitals. They basically went into houses and the doctors came to see them.

I agree with David, in those days they had Doctors on call, of course the doctor would need a home so that people could post their aches and pains.

While they didn't have hospitals, they did have barbers who would tend for the wounded, correct? And this is a fantasy world, so it's rather possible there would have been some sort of town healer who could take care of wounds and illnesses. Especially with the mages around. I'm sure there would be some sort of healing spell, and couldn't some mages specialize in healing magic?

That does sounds like a good idea. Not specifically a hospital board, but a Healer's house or something of the sort.

If Nyle wants to be the Aesir healer, I can offer myself as the Healer for Avaren. ^_^

Okay, let's see what I can do to help. First off, the problem with having too many boards for too few people has already been stated: they can kill a site. When people come to the site and take a look at it, seeing a large number of boards with few to no posts actually is more likely to turn them away than any other result. then again, if there aren't a lot of boards, people could get bored and want new places to RP.

Of course, the easiest way I see to solve this is too add more boards as more people join, if they want them. Yet for now, there are still boards that don't even have a single thread in them. I figure if I have enough suggestions for new boards, they could be added as we reach higher numbers of members and more member activity.

As for a hospital, it is also as stated. People wouldn't generally have a single building dedicated to that purpose. If anything, they would go to some sort of holy place, like the Chapel, to seek out those who might help them, such as a Cleric or Paladin. thus, essentially, we have a board that functions how a hospital would.

Still, suggestions for more boards would be welcome, if any were to be implemented at a good time later on.
