Napeir had been sitting against a gravestone listioning to their conversation, he had been there to put flowers on his mothers grave, but saw the dragon before he could get to the grave. Then he pulled out the stone that he had found in the cave of the damed , he had looked up some information on the stone in the dragon section of the library in the great floting city(can't remember the name at the moment)and wanted to confront him about the stone.
