Title pretty much says it all, don't it?

Well, the way things are, I just have too many problems with Avaren. The flaws aren't in the system, however, it's the people. Whenever a person posts a bio, I read it. And it always angers me. It's probably obvious I hate people being dragon riders. That's just a warrior giving himself magic powers. It's also very obvious I don't like the way a lot of warriors will give themselves magic weapons or magic powers or be all RAWR I STRONG AS OX RAWR. I don't like mages giving themselves warrior style weapons (I remember one saying she had a bow which never missed or something like that.) I don't like people taking names or ideas from books. And most of all, I don't like the quality of what I see sometimes.

So, I've decided its best off that I leave. Then I can stop contemplating how I can complain about something to the admins and I can stop worrying about what's going on here. I'll stay to finish off the one topic I am in that's active, but after that, I'm gone. I'm not deleting my account, just in case things improve. But I'm gone.

That's a shame Protege that your leaving on such bases. If you leave your knowledge of peoples characters simple up to there Profiles rather then have the interaction with them. You should never judge a book by it's cover an old and wise saying thats goes for many things! Rather than judge except many people are tolerating things they normally wouldn't thats what comes with new sites. You can't expect it to be like the old one.

And honsetly, it goes without saying. Eventually, if people of your 'calibur' leave on a petty basis, then The site will be stripped of all good people. thats not a good thing, and I've seen it happen too many times.
And since people need to pm the admin to raise ther levels, and if people dont realize this, then guess what?

They will eventualy leave, or figure it out. and when they figure that out, they will have read the rules.

In my opinion, the whole place shoudl be blocked with a password that you find partly in the rules, partly in the storyline, and partly in the positions thread, but that, most people would find impractical.

Mira: I do accept the good with the bad. I go night fishing at the end of fall where its freezing cold and catch no fish and yet I am happy. It has to be a serious problem for it to make me give up.

Leesien: The people write their profiles, its what they base their character on. Plus, if they incur my dislike, I do read their posts, and find out pretty much every time it's (it's is it is, its is the possive term) the same. And whatever you said starting at Rather and going to the end, you lost me. Made no sense whatsoever.

Shadow: First off, spell check. Yes, I know, no right to be a critic with me being gone, but still, I can't help it. Well, that's a lie, I probably could, but this is technically constructive criticism. Secondly, my calibur ain't that high. There are flaws that I know of in how I RP. I dedicate a paragraph to describing how the character looks, but I don't put it in in an interesting way. There are others. Thirdly, the admins job is to raise your profile when you reach a certain number of posts. Nothing stops them till they get to level 4, where we have our good friends Thurel and Muryllis to stop them. Plus, they don't leave. They keep RPing, and then create numerous rants about how the system is unfair, then all the others who are getting the same result get it, and eventually sheer numbers just overwhelm everything. And lastly, the password wouldn't work. There would have to be some sort of identification to what the password is, so they'd just search for that. Or, they wouldn't even pay attention. You can read without understanding or caring.

I can see why the certain things bother you.
No ones perfect, but everyone wants to have fun.
I tried to stay as close to rules as I could as always, some people I suppose rather not.
If you were the one not having fun I can see why you would wish to leave.

Avaren needs it warriors in a time like this, the witch trials are coming and you can be an aide in hunting down the heathens ^^ Basically this is going to help with your problem because those people can be arrested for witchcraft (being mages) or if they overpower themselves then they can be suspected of witchcraft. So please come back, we could really use you. Another priest wouldnt hurt either if you want to create one...Avaren could use another for the trials.

And if that doesnt work...
