Finally; there was someone who believed that there was a possible threat to the Royals in the Hall, but Thurel was surprised to find that Rianne had become his stauchest backer in this expediant venture. Pulling out a whistle from beneath his breatplate, Thurel blew into it fiercely and a sharp blast pierced the conversations that were taking place. However the whistle was soon drowned out by the sounds of trampling footfalls and the guards that Captain Derufin had set out around the Palace barged into the Banquet Hall as one; looking expectantly at their commander.
"Lock the doors lads!", bellowed Thurel as he unsheathed his sword from his scabbard; putting on his black helm in the process. "Arrest any outlandish looking humans; that is the Queen's order and arrest that man with that abomitable beast!". After hearing their Leader's orders, the Guards sprung into action so that each Mage was covered by three guards and forcfully clapped into irons. As for the Dragon and it's own, ten guards surrounded them; their spears bristling close against the newest foes of the Realm. And the oaken doors of the Hall were guarded by 20 men; enough so that no one would be able to escape. Satisfied with the speed that this was accomplished at, Thurel turned back to Rianne while eyeing those that were being guarded.
"Is there anything else my Queen?"

There was a smile on Rianne’s face as each and every mage was rounded up by Thurel’s quick thinking and actions. “It looks like you have trained our guards well Sir.” She said to her Captain of the Guard with praise as people were detained. The Banquet was surely interrupted now that there were armed guards in the hall, but that would be corrected soon enough. Rianne found herself standing now at the head table, looking down and out, grinning at the sight of Eragon being the most heavily guarded. Once again her gaze was on Thurel, her words quiet. “That dragon is yours, do with it as you will sir. I do not believe we can do much with the beast when it comes to laws as it is not a human. I leave that to you Thurel.” There was a bit of graveness in her voice. “And do me a favor and make sure that those two are separated, wouldn’t want the owner to try anything stupid.” Meaning Eragon and Saphira.
Now she took a deep breath and focused her attention on the Hall itself. “People of Avaren!” She started, and most sounds went quiet as the Queen was addressing. “This Banquet was started as a means to bring the united peoples of our land together in one great night of entertainment and enjoyment. But there are those that do not wish this to happen, those who are not of our kind. We have been subjected to magical beings in our presence, not of our land, creatures of demonic purposes. Breathe easily that now these beings will be detained, and our lands will be cleansed of their filth.” Her eyes were hard, but there was seriousness there. “Rejoice now as they are removed, and continue on with the festivities.”
With that done she turned back to Thurel. “Have all detained brought to the dungeons, and take special care to make sure that nobody can escape. We shall deal with them as soon as heavenly possible.” That in mind, she would have to call the priest at one point here then to take care of the heathens. Rianne nodded and sat back down, breathing a bit easier.

Shadow pulled up his hood and sat down. luckily, he had a dagger, and was known in avaren as a theif, but wait... he wouldnt want to be caught either way. damn queen... Damn eragon... He shook his head. mages werent heathens, but he remembered that Warriors didnt believe in magic. Sighing, he decided to... divert attention. before he did so, he leaned in to where Lessien was. "Id suggest keeping a Very low profile." He shook his head. "and dont follow me." He walked off, into the crowd, and seemed to shrink in size. Pulling out a small package, he muttered words to himself, drawing upon his magic. placing the package on the ground, he walked a few paces away, watching it intently, only to be grabbed by a guard. the man pinned shadow's arms behind his back and tied them together. shaking his head, shadow opened his mouth and began the final word to his spell. He didnt have the chance, as the soldier cuffed him on the head, silencing him.Another guard came over and marched Shadow to the captian of the guard. he saluted and presented his prisoner. Shadow, head down, muttered curses under his breath, wishing he had not put that package on the floor. Maybe he would get a chance later...

Lessien glanced at Shadow a giggle rippled over her lips as he sat than stood towering over Strife. Her laughter was soon covered by a high pitch whistle, echoed by the cry of Lara sitting silently on her shoulder. Stomping could be heard the hall was surrounded by guards. Lessien looked at the queen a smile rippled over the graceful face. Something had been noticed; following the woman’s eyes she spotted Saphira.
Lessien caught Shadow’s words but not quiet in time. Lessien noticed that she had far more things to worry about those that stood behind her were not those bubbly people anymore something had changed. Eye’s fell on Lessien as she stepped forward. There was no way a low profile was going to work in this situation she was unknown to anyone but Shadow. With the utmost respect she smiled to the King and Queen greeting them with a curtsy. There were firm hands on her arms, as iron clasps were locked. Lara sat still unstirred on her should a hand came out to grab the Osprey; a cry was heard as a sharp beak ripped into flesh.
Between the guards Lessien look like nothing more than a child. Calm and collected she was marched of to join the others. In her mind something felt fair about this; they had all come knowing what they were risking. The only thing that had gone wrong was a stupid mistake by an unwitting warrior.
Lara flapped widely about as many tried to clam her from Lessien’s shoulder. Looking at her holder Lessien opened her mouth. “Sir, I wish her to be placed in the care of another. She is an ordinary Osprey.” Looking at Lara’s golden feathers of velvet she put her head to the side, the Osprey ran her head up and down Lessien’s cheek. “Now Lara, you deserve better than a dungeons. Go on, go to the Queen she shall care for you my friend.” Lessien’s voice was soft but loud she looked over to the Queen. Hoping her eyes spoke of the intention of the gift. This woman governed her people with great wisdom.
Another was shoved next to her as Shadow came to join the group. Lessien shock her head as Lara took flight to land on a perch above the King and Queen. She fought back the tears that pricked the corners of her eyes.

Though the King had never truly believed in magic, as influenced by his response to his old friend Thurel, it was kind of hard not to believe an accusation such as his wife's when the living proof - the heathen lizard - was right before his eyes. The King had always been a religious man, and Dragons were something that their God spoke against. They were monsters out of hell, along with the practicioners of the Magic arts. No doubt now that his wife was correct.
"My banquet has been soiled!" The King roared, standing up, "Monstrous demons!" He watched as his Captain arrested the heathen's companions and brought them to the Dungeons. "They shall remain there until we may see justice." He ordered. "We must go to Father Vidar."

Alezand ran up to Tyanno. "Time to leave..." as he flashed a look of bewilderment to his partner. He put his back to Tyanno. "Since when aren't magical beings allowed into this kingdom?" He asked aloud. Drawing his sword silently he turned on his pal, "Get down, you!!!" he hollered ashe made a very convincing mock stroke at Tyanno's head. As he drew close, he whispered to him, "You know what to do. we need to get everyone out of herethat is of magical trait. Can you bust those doors?"

Tyanno was stood shocked when Alezand ran up on him. But was ready and went down hard right on que when Alezand went to hit him with his hilt. He allowed himself to be pulled up by Alezand then, and answered "yes, just get me close enough. One way or another, I'll get it open, master." He whispered back to his friend. Thoughts of how to get that door down were now racing through his mind. He could flash freeze it, and have Alezand and others tackle it, causing it to shatter. Or, could he make a big enough snowball to bowl it down? It was worth a shot. All Alezand had to do was now signal the other magical detainees that a plan was to implemented and to assist as one saw fit. Tyanno was going to need cover and possible assistance to get the door down...

Alezand what knew this meant and dragged Tyanno forcably past Shadow and his crew and whispered just so he could hear, "get your people ready and pass it on to other Mages. We're busting out of here. give my friend here cover..." and continued on, practically dragging Tyanno along. Alezand made for a path that was heading towards the captain and the Royals, but also would bring Tyanno with in striking range of the doors. "Captain, Sir!!!. I have one of these heathen here. Allow me to assist you, my good man!"

((heh... ok then, we prepare, awaiting for a final command. heh... wish my arms weren't tied...))
Shadow's string of curses stopped as he heard the plans. "get your people ready and pass it on to other Mages. We're busting out of here. give my friend here cover..." Nodding, Shadow leaned over to Lessien, repeating what the warrior who had dragged the mage past them had said. Shadow thought for a moment. How the hell were they gonna break down the door? it's enormous, thick, and surrounded by guards in the hall... Shadow cleared his head. What they are gonna need is a distraction... Working his pouches around so he could access them with his hands tied, he pulled out a small package. it was labeled 'Cloud'. Shadow opened it, and a sulfurous smell began to drift through the air. Dropping to his knees, he threw the package away, and slowly got back to his feet. The package would smoke intensely, creating a large dark cloud of smoke once shadow activated it. He decided to wait for the other mage and warrior to give the word before he did though, because other wise, the distraction would be wasted. Turning so he could see the two's progress, he smiled, waiting for their signal. As he waited, he grabbed a flash-bang and put it into his hand, ready to throw it. A mischievous smile crept to his lips. The noise alone will make most fall off their seats. Thank you alchemy.... too bad we cant start now...
((notice how I havent taken any actions yet... None noticeable. They are just preparations.))

OCC: This is modified, to buy others time to reply.
Tyanno glanced over his shoulder, watching Shadow prepare his tricks. He let out a sigh as he gently nodded to him inperceptively. He closed his eyes, gathering his concentration. he turned back, opening his eyes as they drew past the door. there about two dozen guards glaring down at him from fifteen feet away. "Are you sure this is how you want to do this?" he murmured to Alezand. Though it did seem that the queen was quite fanatical right now and no amount of persuasion or diplomacy would shake her from her spot of radical fear. What did this woman fear? didn't she know that many of these mages have fought and nearly died trying to protect Her kingdom. Up until now, everyone in this room was and ally and loyal subject to these two and their rule. Now, he feared, they had just alienated their strongest advocates and first line of defence against the growing darkness in these realms...

Lessien stood still and calm as those around her fussed. She turned her face to look at Shadow. Hadn’t he realized what was best! Shaking her head, she did not listen to those around her the King’s rage was enough to silence a whole hall! Why would anyone want to anger him further? Life was precious and these guys were throwing it away on trying to get out of a situation, that they got themselves into. A law of Tyranth, her father’s house, innocent until proven guilty, is how she looked at her position! Those around her were giving proof to the people of Avaren that they held some ability. This people did not like such things and in Lessien’s eye’s they would not take them lightly!

Eragon growled slightly as he and Saphira were seperated. "Hold! I mean you all no harm!" Eragon cried over the din and slpped his forehead. "What have I done...?" Eragon heard it calling him again. Eragon... use me... I will try and save you. Its the whistle! "No." he said to himself. "I will not use magic..." Eragon's heart skipped a beat as the King got angry. "She is not a beast! she is as clever as you or I! And more kind-hearted. Purer!" Eragon yelled. "Let me go!" OOC: This is just a reply to uh, the previous page's. OMG what have i alnded everyone in?
