Tori prepared food and wine, she was not going to make this banquet for Vidar a failure. She would not mess anything up. Everything had to be perfect. She set up the table, seating for twenty. She figure that she wouldn't need that many, but it was always good to prpare for unexpected guests. No one was there yet, save Tori herself, as she worked to make this banquet perfect.

Tori had left the door open, and awaited her guest, but it seemed he had manners. "The door was left open that you may enter. Please, come in. No one else has arrived, yet, but you may take your seat. Vidar shall be seated there." She pointed to the head of the table. "Seat yourself close to him. We could use able-bodied warriors for protection. Do not wait. Vidar and everyone else will join us, soon." She continued setting the table, and ingored Tsuzuki. The candles were all lit, and the table set with a small banquet. In the center of the table sat a vase, containing a single black rose. Tori finished setting the table, and stood by the door, as a maid should while greeting guests...

As Tori watched Tsuzuki seat himself at his table, she smiled. It looked as if her party was going well. Obviously, the man had not stopped to check whether or not the doors were still open, and so missed the most obvious trap possible. She pushed on the inwardly opened doors, closing them, and locking them. Reaching to a place near where she had been standing, she pulled a scythe from what had been behind the door. Raising the scythe, and pointing it at Tsuzuki, as she placed her key in her pocket, she declared, "Welcome to this party. The party of your death. I am your host, Tori Shiroishi. Let us begin the festivities." She curtsied slightly, and once again brought up her scythe, but this time for battle.
"You have been charged with high treason against the crowned ruler of Avaren, Lord Vidar. You are also charged with heresy and will to aid Satan's servants, practitioners of witchcraft. Your punishment is death. Have you anything to say in your defense? If not, your punishment shall be carried out swiftly." She closed distance more quickly than a normal maid might, and swung her scythe in a vertical arc, aiming straight for Tsuzuki's head.
OOC: Not to say that you can't, but it would probably good RPing not to start any posts as if these events had already occurred. You don't know the course of this battle, and neither do I, so it is possible one of us may die. Thus, you could join other threads, and start threads as if they took place in the past, but do not start or join any as if in the future. It's only good RPing common sense. Though, I'm not in a poition to MAKE you follow it, so it is just a suggestion.

"Not ready must make you a poor soldier! Befitting of a heathen and a devil-worshiper, for the armies of God shall always triumph over those of Satan! I declared my intent, and in doing so, gave you a chance to draw your sword! Now, die!" Tori cut through the chair effortlessly, with but a single stroke of her scythe. This action normally would have left a person open, but she jabbed forward with the bottom of the scythe, where a pointed end had been made to insure pain on those she deemed heathen. "And, so it seems, you also underestimate your opponent, heathen!" As she passed toward Tsuzuki, her scythe in one hand, she grabbed a candle with the other, swinging it, the flame passing near Tsuzuki's face, and hot wax splashing forth.
OOC: Indeed.

Tori quickly changed her thrust into a spinning horizontal arc, moving around Tsuzuki's blade, and bringing the blade of her scythe toward his side. She quickly brought the blade toward his kidney, and threw the candle away, grabbing hold of her scythe with both hands, allowing her even more control, and more strength to cut.

"Ha ha ha ha!" Tori laughed at his ignorance. A holy warrior such as herself could easily get out of this situation without a scratch. Tori was no weak woman, as her figure implied, but a holy warrior, who had undergone the vigorous training of a holy warrior her whole life. She trained daily, yet still cleaned this wonderful castle everyday. What Tsuzuki did not seem to realize was that her hand was no longer on the scythe, and instead was holding his sword. "Lord Vidar's "witch hunt," as you so degradingly call it, is purging the evils of this land, and keeping safe the families of this realm! I must purge this land of the sickness it has aquired with my Scythe of Healing!" Tori then pressed on Tsuzuki, deciding that there might be a need for her to try, even if it was only a little, to kill this heathen. The power of the Devil must flow through his veins. That was okay, however, as the far greater power of the Lord God flowed through her body. Her strength would surprise Tsuzuki, as she had participated in far more difficult battles. Tori began to fight with his strength, wrenching both his sword, and her scythe. She smiled, thinking of how beautiful it would be to see this heathen bleed.

As he attepmted to throw Tori across the room, Tori lifted him with both hands, dropping her scythe, essentially stopping him from any attempt at throwing her. She was quite capable of throwing him, herself, but chose a more drastic strategy. She stepped on her scythe, causing the handle to swing upright where she had dropped it. This man thought he could harm Tori with simple measures. Without his sword, he was nothing compared to her. She obviously had the strength advantage, and was not letting go anytime soon. She brought Tsuzuki down upon the upright scythe, attempting to pierce him with the pointed end.

Tori smirked. She was also holding onto her scythe, and would not let go, for she had grabbed it while losing her balance, and would not let go, now that he also had hold of it. "Such things have never happened in this country, save when done by heathens. These guards shall also have to be punished for using Lord Vidar's name to justify heathenism. Thank you for your... information!" She pulled her scythe towards her, kicking out at Tsuzuki's left side with even greater force, leaving Tsuzuki with but two choices: Release her scythe, or have his arm dislocated, and his side filled with pain as her foot dug into his kidney, and her arm pulled on her scythe.

Tori simply took her chance, kicking Tsuzuki in the stomach, with a force that would surprise even a master, considering her slender frame. She planted her kick into Tsuzuki's kidney, but to her surprise was knocked over by his weight. It did not phase her, though, as she simply threw him off of her, being on the bottom, and therefore having the advantage of balance, as well as an advantage of strength. As she lifted him up to throw him, she brought her knee with great force into his groin, with the intended effect of disabling him. After throwing him, she jumped up, and retrieved her scythe, not wasting a moment of time.
OOC: Sorry, gotta go, calculus calls.

Out of Character final judgment.
1) As the rules state, you may not kill any other character owner's permission. On a side not, even if you both "agree" that it is a fight to the death, it does not give either of you the right to declare the fight over at any time you choose. If, for some reason, neither of you wants to die yet both want a fight to the death, then I will say right here that you would need to have a third party ruling from a forum moderator as to who wins and loses the battle.
2) Don't turn these things into large out of character arguments, next time just PM me so I can render judgment.
3) Tsuzuki, your post does not follow the rules of this forum and now has to be re-written entirely, since you blatantly refuse to edit it.

OOC: Due to Tsuzuki's apparent dislike of losing, he has decided to withdraw from this thread and, in effect, lose. Such is the story that Cain and I have decided, so to complete the thread, as stupid as it looks since Tsuzuki decided to delete his posts.
As Tori ran to grab her scythe, Tsuzuki decided to run for dear life, realizing that if he continued to fight, he would die. He took his sword, and cut open the door to the banquet hall, kicking it down, and running as fast as he could. At the same time, Tori grabbed her scythe, and took off after him, chasing him through the castle. While he somehow managed to elude her, she would not forget his cowardice, nor would she forget the look of fear on that once smug face as he ran before the light of God.

OOC:
Oh, hell no. I'm appealing to this. You have no right to kill his character.
He has resigned, therefore there is no outcome, he did not loose because it did not end.
Do I agree with what he did? Not at all. I think it was foolish and ridiculous.
This is what he chose to do, at any rate, and because he resigned, the battle did not end, no one could have won, or could have lost, leaving you no right to kill his character. The consent is void. I see this as completely unfair. (From his resigning to the killing, everything about this, mind you).
If you strongly believe there must be an outcome, ask him to redo the battle.

OOC: Listen, DEMI, I never wrote anything like "Tsuzuki died." or, "I killed Tsuzuki." I didn't even IMPLY death! Where the hell are you coming from? How does one miss something so important? He LIVED! And why am I being chastised by someone of lower authority than the person who told me to finish the thread in the first place? Story of the thread's end: CAIN told me to decide how the thread would end. I decided to respect his wish to keep his character alive. I even ran it by Cain afterwards to ensure it followed enough of the rules to post! What did I do wrong that you THOUGHT that there was even a CHANCE he died?
I MADE HIM RUN AWAY! I DIDN'T KILL HIM!There. The big red print says it all. At least read that! And reread this section of the passage, while you are at it! See!? Right there! WHILE HE SOMEHOW MANAGED TO ELUDE HER! I didn't kill him. I made him RUN. The story was decided by me, and I ran it by Cain before posting it. I even PMed it to Tsuzuki. There is no reason for you to have a fit over it, DEMI! Conclusion:Why are you throwing a fit over something I didn't do!?

I worded my post a bit wrong, now that I look at it. Because Cain told me something about Tsuzuki being dead. I obviously didn't specify clearly enough on what you HAD done(probably because maybe with the thought that Cain said he was dead, I misread the post at first, and kept that in the back ov my mind).
Here's my direct point.
if effect if someone were to just read that, knowing it was till the death, they would think he died. People seem to get confused easily here with even the very understandable rules.
Aside from that there should still be no conclusion, he did not loose, it does not make sense to me, as I already posted.
Where you get the word "Fit" from is strange. That word goes best with your above post, heh. Appeals can also be made and argued with an administrator. Where do you think it cannot be?
Did you have fun with all the colors and big text?

Yep! Plus: Withdraw = Forfeit = Loss. That is the way society works, anyways, so why can't it work that way, here?
