Eragon nodded. "I just need some time." He whispered. And closed his eyes. "I suggest you don't look at the moose. Its bare." Eragon sighed and unbuckled the flask of elf drink, flaenirv from his belt and took a sip. The flaenirv bruned his throat and his fingertips had the familiar tingling sensation as he felt a new burst of energy rise in him. He closed the flask and fixed it back onto his belt and stood up. "Done. Flaenirv really helps."

“Flaenirv?” she repeated, slightly quizzical, “I’ve never heard of that. What’s it like?” At least the drink made him feel better, because she felt a little guilty for asking him to do his magic. It seemed to drain him too much. Taking his advice, she didn’t look at the now-skinned moose, afriad that her stomach would start roiling again

"It refreshes you. Makes the tip of your fingers tingle... a really nice drink and erm... yeah. But Shadow cannot take it. I did not know why..." He looked suspiciously at the flaenirv. "It gives you strength. When you drink it, its heating you up. Makes you feel great." He smiled.

“That’s really weird. Are some people allergic to it?” Mira asked Eragon curiously after a moment, since he said that Shadow couldn’t drink it. “It sounds like a really good drink,” she added after a moment, shrugging slightly. “At least it would warm you up on a cold day."

"Yes it does." Eragon smiled. "Its great. I guess... this is the end of the hunt. I must go now." He frowned. Then looked up. "It was nice hunting with you! Glad you are here to tatse the skunk." Eragon winked at her.

Eragon suddenly said that the hunt was over and that he had to leave. Eyeing the dead moose even as bile rose in her throat, she turned back to her friend. “Well, that was sudden.” she exclaimed after a moment, eyeing Christine, who hadn’t spoken for a long while. “It was nice hunting with you too.”

“No!” Mira gaped at Eragon, not really sure if she had heard him correctly. “You killed it and… skinned it. It’s yours, so you should be the one to take it.” Eyeing the moose and ignoring the continual rolling of her stomach, she added, “Besides, I couldn’t carry it or drag it anywhere."

Mira glanced uneasily at the dragon that had apparently grown larger since she had last seen it. “Does she… eat it raw?” she asked slowly, her nose wrinkling in disgust once again. “Because I really don’t think I could watch that. So… if she’s going to eat it right now, I’d like to leave.”

"Nah, she's not going to eat it. She's gonna store it." Eragon watched as Saphira nodded and clamped her talons around the moose. I wish that you've left the skin. She said before surging up into the air.

“What do you mean by store it?” Mira asked Eragon hesitantly as she watched the dragon shoot her master a nasty look as she surged upward into the air, the moose dangling from her razor sharp jaw.
Turning around and glancing at Christine, Mira felt a little bad for leaving her out of the discussion. “What are you thinking about?” she asked the girl, hoping to strike up a conversation with her.
