A Nice Talk

[Shadow]

He smiled and took the fruit. "and now, i have a trick." He closed his eyes, tossed the fruit into the air and pulled out his knife. Or so it seemed. because as he was returning his knife to his boot, the fruit split into six parts. "wow, i actually did it." he laughed and took a bite of one of the parts. "Though I'd have to say that your trick was more intseresting."

[Ariadne]

Ariadne smiled. "Thanks but youres wasnt so bad either." ariadne replyed. "So what now?" Ariadne asked Shadow. "Have you ever climbed a tree?" Ariadne asked him curiously as she eyed the tree up and down. The tree was really wide and tall.

[Shadow]

Shadow laughed "not really, I just usually jump into them and pull myself up." He shrugged. "So technically, no. But i heard that it was easy, untill you got to the top." He looked at ariande. "why? are you saying that we should climb the tree?" he shrugged. "sounds fun, And then we can carve our initials at the top! well, the highest point we reach anyways."

[Ariadne]

Ariadne laughed at his last comment. "yeah....it would be fun" Ariadne replyed. "I never knew they carved their initials at the top ofthe tree...I always thought it was at the bottom." Ariadne shrugged. She then stood up and walked to the tree.

[Shadow]

Shadow stood up. "you can climb if youd like, I am going to jump up into the tree." he smiled mischeviously and crouched down and sprang into the tree. unfortunately, he misjudged the jump and hit his head on the branch he was trying to jump onto. When he landed, he rubbed his head. "owww.... not doing that again for a while... I guess Ill just climb it the old fasioned way..." He sighed, rubbing his head.

[Ariadne]

Ariadne gave shadow a slight smile. "Sometimes things are done better the old fashion way." she told him. "Would you mind giving me a boost?" Ariadne asked Shadow. It will take her forever if she started from the ground. And well Shadows really tall so the boost would be a good thing. Ariadne thought.

[Shadow]

Shadow smiled. "Sure, how high do you want to go?" he reached out and picked her up. lightly tossing her in the air and catching her, he looked up at the tree. "about where do you want me to put you? I can put you as high as you can reach and pull yourself up."

[Ariadne]

Ariadne sqeeled as Shadow threw her in the air and caught her. She laughed."hmmm...As far as you can boost me up." Ariadne told Shadow as she looked into his eyes.

[Shadow]

He smiled as she looked into his eyes. Looking right back into her eyes, shadow lost himself for a moment, and stood there, just looking into her eyes. He leaned his head forward, and brought his face very close to hers. Suddenly, he shook his head and looked away, embarassed. Turning his head back to her, he smiled. "allright, lets see how high i can get you." Re-adjusting his grip so it was on the sides of her waist, he lifted her into the air, and their height combined was almost enough to reach a branch that was halfway up the tree. Shaking his head, he closed his eyes and to himself, muttered. "Self control...Self control..."

[Ariadne]

Ariadne smiled. She then notice Shadows face very close to hers......But he moved it away. Ariadne blushed slightly. "Ummmm.....Grab me from my knee so I can get a higher andbetter grip ofthe branch....If you can please?" Ariadne asked looking back down to Shadow. She saw him muttering something but couldnt figure out what.

[Shadow]

Shadow nodded and re-adjusted his grip. Lifting her a bit higher, he looked up. "How's that? I can go a bit higher, but I cant guarentee any stability..." he laughed. "You almost done? My arms arent used to lifting something over my head for much longer than this..."

[Ariadne]

Ariadne felt herself go up higher i the air. "Thats fine, Shadow." Ariadne raised her hands up and got a firm grip on the tree branch. She then raised herself up. She sat on the tree branch with one of her legs crossed and her other leg fell limply on her side. Ariadne looked down from the tree and looked right back up. She was extremely scare dof heights but she still liked the view from here. Ariadne then crawled acroos the branch to lean on the bark as she assumed her previous position. "So you coming up Shadow?" Ariadne asked him.

[Shadow]

Shadow nodded. "yep, just give me a few minutes of preperation." Shadow knelt and grabbed the daggers from his boots. Gripping them so the blade was facing the tree, he smiled, and jumped up. As he made contact with the tree, he stabbed the daggers into the wood and crawled his way up the trunk. In a matter of seconds, he was level with ariadne. pulling the daggers from the trunk, he satbehind her on the branch and put his daggers back into his boots. panting slightly, he shook his head. "remind me not to do that. it is too tiring."

[Ariadne]

Ariadne watched how Shadow crawled to the top with his daggers. In a matter of seconds he was already next to her. Ariadne laughed at his comment. "Ill keep that in mind." Ariadne told him.

[Shadow]

He smiled. "thanks. Now..." he looked up. They were about halfway up the tree. "this is a big tree.... it looked smaller from the ground." sighing, he looked back at ariadne. "well, Shall we?"
