I love life, life loves me
Anything in the world can make me happy!
Anything in the world can make me happy!
Sure it was late - or rather early in the morning, but after a hectic night at the Inn, Hayzie had had to get out. Though, it hadn't exactly been bd hectic - just busy and the room had got stuffy very quickly. Fresh air by 2am was definitely more than desired.
Wrapping a shawl around her shoulders, Hayz had tip-toed out of the Inn not long after cleaning had finished, being careful not to wake any guests who decided to have an early night and left a note for Tim on the bar, just in case.
Gone to the gardens. Be back soon.
The streets of Aesir really were different at night - bathed in the glow of the dim moonlight, the magical settlement looked even more magical than ever. Little patches of glittering frost began to blanket the paths leading to Heaven's Alter, and all was quiet. There were no birds singing, no busy bustling of people... just... peace.
Stepping into the gardens, a small smile etched itself onto the Innkeeper's face leaving green eyes sparkling. It all looked so pretty like this. Upon reaching an empty clearing of grass, some of it sparkling with the Winter frost, Hayzie lay down her shawl and lay back on it, simply staring at the sky. The night wasn't overly clear, a light coloured cloud creating a barrier between the world and the stars above, only the moons light showing through. Closing her eyes for a few moments, the short blonde listened to the silence, relishing it. Working in a Tavern definitely had its shortfalls - one being constant noise - and if she was perfectly honest, the silence unnerved her a little.
But then it happened.
Something cold and wet fell on the tip of her nose. Then her forehead. Then her arm. Then her cheek.
Opening one eye to try and figure out what was going on, it only took a few seconds for her to open both wide. "It's snowing," she whispered to herself as she saw the little white flakes fall from the sky. The smile returned once more as she closed her eyes. It truely was a magical night, one she didn't want to end.
