OOC: Cool

It was a bright and warm morning, not too bad. Evee came back to the Inn for Parin who was now like her little sister more than ever. She remebered where her room was so sh just went there. Evee knocked on the door before she opened it and saw Parin in bed still. Evee smiled as she came into the room and went over to the loft bed Parin slept in. "....Parin? Little sis?" Evee called to her while she gently shook her. She semed to be sleeping peacefully even without a bath. Evee sat down on the bed next to Parin's sleeping being and smiled. Evee reached to rub the girl's hair, it was a bit dirty with dust and such though. But Evee could still see the beauty under all the dirt and grime.

OOC: I have Grime? Blaaah!

IC: Parin smiled in her sleep for she and the strange people who seemed to know her were going on a picnic. The Picnic was in a glorious garden with tons of flowers and very few bees. In fact none were around at the moment. She was just about to bit into a lovely large beget grinder that had three meats and two cheeses and lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles and olives on it with mayo when . . . the dream dissolved.

Her tummy growled loudly for her sandwich, as she sat up in bed and rubbed her eyes.
"ohhhhh" she moaned "so hungry! I wonder where we should beg for food today." Then she saw Evee.
"Hi Evee . . ." Suddenly she took a double take. "EVEE!!" she said and pounced on the girl who had saved her, hugging her.
"Oh Eveeie Evee! Pretty please can I have a lovely large beget grinder that had three meats and two cheeses and lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles and olives on it and some mayonnaise? You can have half of it too, pleeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaase?! I'll give you . . . She searched around the room for something she owned . . . "I'll give you the sweet bread back!"

OOC: LOL sorry, had to make up something

IC: Evee was taken by surprise when Parin started hugging her and describing a sandwich to her. Evee smiled and hugged her back. "Ah, I'm not sure if there's a sandwich around here like that but in the city there may be." Evee paused before looking down at Parin with a grin. "I have a surprise for you. New clothes, and food today!" Evee said in a cheerful voice. She even had some of her clothes from when she was a around Parin's age and they were fine materials. She did used to live in a palace of course. She was a princess until her parents were murdered, they were a king and queen of her homelands. Evee would let her have the clothes if she liked and she'd buy her a couple outfits as well in the market places in the city. "What do you say?" Evee asked with a wide smile. She was more excited to take care of Parin than Parin was to be taken care of. Evee ignored the part when Parin offered to give her sweet bread back, and Evee wouldn't dare take it back from her. She needed food more than Evee did.

OOC: It's ok I am sorry I haven't been around. I was busy doing absolutely nothing and I realized that I had made commitments and I wasn't living up to them. I am sorry.

IC: When Parin felt Evee's arms around her and the assurance that she could have her sandwich she was too happy to speak. A tear rolled down her cheek as she hugged Evee tight.

"Thank you so much Evee, I don't know how I could ever repay you for taking me in. She smiled and letting Evee go wiped her tears away with her arm. She couldn't imagine what sort of strange fashions Evee might have brought her, seeing as all the people in the little town wore things unfamiliar to her, but she didn't really care, fashion was fashion and if it had changed than she must change with it.

Suddenly Parin looked rather thoughtful.
"If you have taken me in, does that mean I can have a bath soon? Are you rich enough to have water drawn for you or will we have to fetch and heat it ourselves? I don't know any fire spells yet." she reflected.

OOC: U don't have to apologize

IC:

Evee smiled. She saw how grateful Parin was, that was all Evee needed from her. "I have no problem taking care off you. I hate to se children suffer, this world is very cold..." Evee trailed off with a distant look before her smile came back and shined on the little sleepy head. "I'm not rich, anymore any way. But I'll take care of fetching water, I have a river in the back of my house. And I know a simple fire spell to make things easier. Don't you worry." Evee said with a wink. She stood up from Parin's bed and smiled. "I'm going to get the extra gold from the Inn keeper, you won't be staying another night here..." Evee insisted as she walked out of the room, giving Parin a chance to get dressed. Evee felt that there was a reason for meeting Parin, like Evee was her guardian somehow. It was as if she was meant to find Evee....

Parin quickly got dressed in her old tattered dress and flung on her cloak. She grabbed her sweet bread but didn't eat it, instead she put the wrapped up portion in her pocket thinking she would trade it for the lovely sandwich of her dreams.
"All set" she said smiling. "Where are we going to go first Eveeie Evee?" Parin didn't know why she'd thought if this nice name but it seemed to have stuck.

Suddenly Parin's tummy rumbled loudly. Parin looked down and put her hand on it.
"Be quite you" she told it," It is Eveeie's decision on where we go first, not yours. Then she looked up at Evee.
"Pay no attention to the tummy under the cloak. The Great Eveeie has spoken! - or will speak in a moment . . . ." she said reflecting.

Evee only smiled, she could see they would have to make the first stop to the sandwhich vendor. "Now now Parin, don't scold the tummy. We can go get you some food first. Why don't you snack on your sweet bread until we get there hm?" Evee suggested to Parin before leading her out of the room.

Evee had some extra money now so she could make sure Parin ate, had clean clothes, maybe even some extra stuff. Evee lead Parin out of the Inn and to her horse. She had just gotten this horse a few days ago and she was still breaking her in. Eclipse was a good horse, she wasn't naughty and snuck off as of yet either.

The horse was all black and the saddle was all black with white stiching, very unique. Evee rubbed the horse's nose and smiled. "We have another traveler today girl. Be nice ok?" Evee told Eclipse, though it wasn't like she was ever mean. She just didn't know how Eclipse would act with Parin. "Ready lil sis?" Evee said to her happily. She couldn't wait to have a fun day with her adopted sister.

IC: Parin was so relieved that a trade would not be called for that she took out the bread then and there and gobbled it down.
"Mmmmm!" she said. "Please, wait up!" Parin ran after Evee into the bright sunlight, but stopped short when she saw the lovely horse.

"Oooooooooooo" she said admiring the lovely Mare. "She is very beautiful," said Parin "Are you ever going to breed her? Her barrel will loose a bit of elasticity, but if you wait till she is old enough that won't matter because she will get back into shape. If you breed a Mare too young, they may also reject the Foal. I like horses." she said all in a rush and yet she didn't get any closer than the front step of the Inn.

Evee's eyes widened when Parin gave her a mouth full of info. Eclipse just whinnied at Parin's compliment. "I see, you like horses hm? That's good news. I might breed her, I'm not sure yet." Evee explained. "C'mon Parin, we're riding today." Evee told her with a smile. Evee was feeling like a big sister even more now, every day she was with Parin.


Not knowing what the furure held for this young girl, Evee would be glad to have her around to talk to. She could even use some help with Eclipse. Evee mounted the horse and then held her hand out to Parin with a small smile. "Come on, I got ya." Evee said ready for fun.

"Er-" said Parin. She didn't know how she knew this but she wasn't aloud to ride horses.
"Eveeie Eve, I am too young to come near horses. I am not aloud to ride them. Someone . . . Long ago, I think told me to stay away and that I was far to small."
Parin fidgeted, she looked very much like she would love to come and ride but that this strange someone from her past was very influential to her - perhaps dear to her heart.

However at that moment a group of rough young toughs came round the corner. One of then brandished a wand he seemed to have stolen from his father. For one moment their eyes locked.
"GET HER!!" said the boy and he aimed his wand at her.
"MAAAAAAA!!" Cried Parin, and leaped from the step grasping Evee's hand.

Evee took out one of her circular blades, she scrunched her eyes at the ignorant boys. "Stay behind me Parin..." Evee warned her as she got ready to teach these little punks a lesson. "Who are you? Why are you trying to hurt her?" Evee asked protectively, demanding an answer.

She didn't know who these young upstarts were, but she wasn't about to let them hurt Parin. She obviously was innocent and they wanted to pick on her. All that would change now, Evee was going to Protect Parin with her life. No regrets. She waited for one of them to answer her before she started whailing on 'em.

[Parin d'Aulaire]

"Er-" said the boy with the wand. His buddies suddenly scrambled, running for the hills.
"Crap, she's got a big ol' circle blade!"
"He's a dead man for sure!" The wanded boy heard this and gulped. He lowered his wand and grinned like he knew he was busted.
"We-we was only playin," he claimed "she was being so Bloody annoying last week, pretending she was a Parin d'Aulaire. That families been dead for over a hundred years! Me Da' was complaining that someone aught to teach her a lesson . . . but -er- We wasn't gonna hurt her none, honest!"

Parin gripped Evee tightly round the waist and cried softly remembering the 'lesson' she'd learned from the gang of boys and their parents only to well. It wasn't one she'd soon forget either, seeing as she still ached from their maltreatment.
"Evee, let's get away from here! Let's go far far away and let's not come back any time soon!" pleaded Parin softly - almost too softly to hear. She knew that the boy's father was a town Potionist, for he'd thrown a bad potion at her that had made her spew in seven different colors.
"Let's go away right now, please?" she whispered. not really thinking Evee would listen.

Evee looked at the boys sternly and put her weapon back on hip securely. "Then go on then, get outta here!" Evee yelled at the little nuisances. Evee heard The boy say something about Parin claiming to be an d'Aulaire, an ancient family member. "Parin, is this true?" Evee asked her with a calmer voice than she gave to the bad boys.

While she waited for her answer, Evee wondered why she was so scared of these boys. Parin was practically sticking to her waist. She looked down at her with concern. Something was very wrong, and a mysterious story surrounded her.

OOC: YAYEE EVEIE EVEE IS BACK!!!

IC:Parin hung on to Evee till the bad boys all ran from the scene. But just as she was sure things might be ok Evee asked the same Question as everyone else did. Parin backed up till her back hit the side of the Inn. She looked more frightened than she ever had before, those large sharpened wheels could kill her, should hear answer not please yet another person.

"I-I-I- I Don't know!" She burst into frightened Tears and fell to the ground, pulling her legs up to her chest, and forming a tight ball. "I don't know anything," she cried. I awoke in the cave a few weeks ago, I don't remember anything! I don't know who I am and my necklace was on me when I woke up, it won't come off!" She burred her face in her knees and her next words were muffled. "Please don't hurt me, please don't kill me! I don't know anything about the Parin d'Aulaire's!"

As far as anyone knew no one was left alive who had ever heard a Parin d'Aulaire speak, but had someone heard Parin's odd accent who had heard and did remember, they would have sworn that Parin MUST be of the family for she pronounced the name with the same accent and inflection as any of the Family had - so long ago.

OOC: Yeps! ;D

IC: Evee felt bad when Parin went and got hysterical, she really meant no harm by her question. She just wanted to know why the boys were being so mean and violent towards her. Evee walked over to Parin and crouched down to her level, giving her a sympathetic look. "It's okay Parin, I won't do you harm. I was just curious. I promise not to bring up the issue again." Evee saw how frightened Parin got. It seemed that very question she had just been asked has created nothing but trouble for her.

Suddenly, Evee smiled. There was nothing more fun than shopping and eating. "C'mon, let's go do what we planned to in the first place shall we?" Evee said standing and offering her hand to the sobbing child. Nothing but a sincere smile shown across Evee's features. She remembered Parin said she can't ride horses so she decided to just walk Eclipse by her reigns.
