[Ariadne]

Ariadne was scribbling down her notes intently. Not bothering to look up. As he listened to the teachers lecture it had stopped. Ariadne stopped writting and looked up. She noticed Verdan and Shadow conversing and the girl looking around as well. Ariadne then looked at the Teacher and noticed he was sound asleep like a baby. Ariadne held in a giggle. "No wonder he was so cranky." Ariadne thought. "He needed his afternoon nap."She thought.

[Shadow]

Shadow nodded, mouthing "dont get me in trouble". He handed verdan one of his flashbangs. Shaking his head, he hoped that the teacher wouldnt know that the sound was originally from him. he leaned in to verdan, whispering as softly as he could. "Just slam it on the ground as hard as you can, but be sure to look away, they can blind you." He held his laughter, though it was hard, and looked around the room. writing on some slips of paper, he used magic to send one to ariadne and one to lessien. close your eyes when verdan lifts his hand. the blast is intense. [Alexander Crepsley]

Alexander walked into the classroom, gratefull for two things. One, his hood was up, so there was a chance that he wouldnt be recognised and confronted. Two, the teacher was asleep, so there wouldnt be any yelling from that source either. he snuck in, sitting down in the far left corner of the room, where he nearly blended into the shadows. Puttin his head down on the desk, he decided to go to sleep himself. he would know when the teacher woke up.

[Verdan]

Verdan gave a silent nod of thanks and understanding as he accepted the flashbang. A rush of adrenaline rushed through Verdan's body as he silently got up and took several catlike strides towards the teacher, who was peacefully resting in his chair. Slowly raising his hand up, Verdan wiggled the explosive substance in midair to make sure that Ariadne and Lessien noticed the fact that he was about to throw it. Swinging his hand down with all his might, aiming for the ground right before the teacher, Verdan released the flashbang. He squinted his eyes and spun sharply around, putting his hands over his head. As the explosion roared throughout the room, Verdan sprinted towards his seat, hoping that it would not be noticed that it was indeed him that initiated the sound.

[Muryllis]

The wagon driver was peering down at young Muryllis intently, almost as if he wanted to bite the boy's nose off. 'Here, boy, have a beer.' Muryllis accepted the drink thankfully; with each manly gulp, he grew to twice his previous size, until he was as tall as Aesir itself. Peering down at the ground, he could see a small figure carrying a massive sack, almost like an ant carrying a beetle ten times its size. The person then dropped the sack and scurried off. BANG!!

"AAAAH!!!" Muryllis snapped into wakefulness in time to see that figure - Verdan - scurrying back to his seat; the entire class, namely Shadow and a few others, were snickering uncontrollably as they watched the spectacle. "Funny, eh?" he growled, standing to his full height and silencing the class. With a cold glare from the professor, Verdan's body suddenly took on the form of a cheetah's; "maybe that way you'll learn to run faster," he hissed.

He wasn't satisfied, however; Shadow and Ariadne were still suppressing giggles, and he would be wise to take out his wrath on them as well. Grinning evily, he said, "You, Shadow, with your chimplike jokes and antics," and at the word 'chimplike', the young scholar turned into the appropriate creature. "And you, Miss Ariadne, grinning and snickering like a hyena," and again, the same thing. "The three of you shall meet me later for a wonderful morning session during which we shall discuss discipline and effective punishment of students. This session shall take place in this room, tomorrow morning, promptly at four o'clock. And don't beg me to turn you into anything nocturnal, either, or else you shall keep your respective forms until I feel kind enough to release you." Satisfied, he turned back to the rest of the class; "now then, what shall I continue with?"

[Verdan]

Verdan, midway to sitting down suddenly feels inhuman. Losing balance, he topples back, over the seat and does a sort of roll to get back on all fours. This seems like a natural position at the time. Why am I standing on four limbs?.. he wondered. And why are my arms spotted? Attempting to voice his thoughts, only a deafening roar escapes his mouth. What the...?! Craning his head crazily to look at himself, Verdan only sees a wild animal. Attempting to stand up, he only collapses. It was hard to stand up on only two paws. Leaping to the nearest mirror, Verdan finally gets a good look at himself. A cheetah. Pretty cool... he thought, amazed at the professor's skill. Snapping back to reality Verdan realizes that this was not cool. Not cool at all. He was a cheetah, while his friends were turned into other wild animals.

A sudden craving for meat comes over Verdan. Raw meat. Wildly looking around, he sees a monkey. Yumm.... The cheetah begins to prowl closer and closer, closing in for the kill. Abruptly, the animal stops, realizing that he was about to eat Shadow. This has got to stop... he thinks, trying to speak once more, trying to tell Muryllis that it was not their fault, that only Verdan was to blame, but no success. Only roars came out of his throat. Ah well... it was funny while it lasted... he thought as he was instructed to come to the same classroom at the four o'clock tomorrow.

[Shadow]

Shadow, seeing that verdan and ariadne had been transformed, looked down at himself. "Wuha?!" what the hell is going on? Looking at muryllis, he smiled. This was a punishment, but shadow was going to act it all out. Jumping on his desk, he jumped around, screeching and the such. when he noticed that verdan was trying to creep up on him, he screeched again and jumped around again. If Io could see me now... she'd think I was pika or something... Shadow stopped jumping around so he could hear the instructions to come back at four Am tomorrow, and sat down. Looking over at his quill, he picked it up, waved it around, and smelled it. Shadking his head, he inwardly fought to keep control of his actions. he didnt want to become a complete monkey...

[Lessien Mithrandír]

Lessien held her tongue trying hard not to laugh; fearful of finding herself in the same situation. She looked on as the Instructor gave orders to the now animal students. Admiration for the teacher’s skill and courage inspired her. Putting pen to paper she thought hard on what had been side before the escapade. Words and thoughts swam in her mind as her class mates made animal noises. There were two things she had learnt from her first lessons; one never interrupt a class and two never try and humiliate the Instructor and if so reap the punishment.

[Ariadne]

Ariadne tried to hold her laughter but to no avail. It was too funny the teacher had shot his head up in an instance. His face expression was as if he had no idea. Which was true. But then the Teacher gave the whole class a cold glare which made everyone stopp laughing. The students faces turned serious. She watched as Verdan turned to a cheetah and Shadow like a chimp. The chimp was so small Ariadne wanted to pet it. But then she couldnt. Ariadne had slid from her seat. She looked at the teacher and then back at herself she had seen fur on her self. Ariadne couldnt belive it. She opened her mouth to say something but what she wanted to say didnt come out. It was a howl of a hyena. "HOw rude." Ariadne thought as she frowned. I dont think her frown was noticible though. She then glanced at Shadow and Verdan and started laughing like a hyena for a bit.

[Muryllis]

"Aah yes," he noted, gesturing dramatically as if he had forgotten something. With a wild wave of his hand, the three students gained the ability to speak and control their untamed instincts. "I'd rather not have a pack of wild animals in my class. But, since I do, I may as well hope to control you in some way." With another wave, the three of them popped suddenly inside a ten foot by ten foot pen in a corner of the classroom. "Shall we continue with the class?"

[Shadow]

Shadow laughed, and jumped onto verdan. "Well, did the aincient peoples use magic? And how do we attain the ability to use the actual abilities?" Shadow shook his head. a normal mage would have known the last part of his question by heart. shadow on the other hand, had no memories of the 12 years before his family's deaths. he sighed, and continued, half to himself. "its no fun, not being able to remember things..."

[Verdan]

Verdan had a quick urge to rip the blasted monkey's head off and eat it for a split second as it jumped on his back. As abruptly as it appeared, the urge was gone as Muryllis gave him the power to control his instincts. However, it was not his favorite pastime to carry monkeys on his back. Seemingly by accident, Verdan shakes himself as if attempting to dry his fur after a swim.

((I'm too sleepy to type anything coherent. I'm off to bed now...))

[Ariadne]

Ariadne just layed on the ground. She wasnt very pleased with being turn into a hyena. She glared at Muryllis for a bit and then looked around the room. Shen noticed a new student. But she couldnt tell who it was since his hood was up. Ariadne looked back to the teacher and spoke."Excuse me proffesor but it seems to me we have a new student." she said as she pointed her paw in the direction of the far left corner of the room.
