Adrienne had a long day and was eager to get to her home. When she arrived she noticed a strange letter on her door. It had her name on it she took it off and walked inside to read it. As she sat down and read the letter she cold believe her ees. She looked at the signature. It was signed by Tori Shiroishi the castle Maitre'd and it was asking her to come to a banquet in Avaren to help guard Vidar but it also said that her guading him was only a ruse it stated that by getting closr to him she would help overthrow him. Adrienne was stumped she didn't know what to to,so she decided she would get her friends Akai, Alezand and maybe even Tyranno to help her decide. she took out two peices of parchment and a quill, she knew Alezand and Tyranno would probably be together so she wrote on one 'Azzy could you and Tyranno please come to my dwelling i am in need of your assistance, Adrienne' then she wrote to akai and the same thing. She used her summoning powers to summon a bird to take the letters to her friends she then waited for them to arrive.

Alezand and his partner Tyanno were actually spending a day together to share their adventures of the past few weeks. They had gone on their own separate paths to gain some experience that neither one could teach the other. They were enjoying a shared lunch out in one of the various courtyards that were scattered throughout Aesir. Alezand was just telling Tyanno of his run in with Gilsworthy and other various events when a mourning dove alighted on his shoulder. The diminutive avian had a note tied to it, the knight noticed and took the bird gently on his hand and released the package. The little thing hopped onto the table and warbled softly at Tyanno.
Alezand's eyes skimmed over the piece of paper rapidly. He frowned in thought. What would be so urgent for them to be called to her house like this. It must be very important for her to call them like this. he passed the note to Tyanno...

Tyanno read the note rapidly, standing up at the same time as Alezand did. He threw his cloak over his shoulders and followed Alezand as they made their way to Adrienne's place. "What do you think it is, Alezand? It sounds like something bad." He hoped for both the girls sake and for Alezand's that it was nothing dangerous. He knew all too well what lengths Alezand would go to protect her just as he would to protect Tyanno. The difference was that Alezand knew well that Tyanno was well trained in combat by the knight himself. But Adrienne was a different story.
Tyanno hastened his step as he rushed alongside his old friend to the home of the fellow mage. The house came into view after a few moments. It was modest for the location it was in. Alezand and Tyanno were planning on buying a new house in a short time, one where Adrienne could live in with them. But they needed to move their belongings from the old home down in Avaren and Alezand wasn't sure if Aesir was the right place for them to take up residence. Tyanno couldn't see what the problem would be, but did not argue the question.
They made their way up to the door and politely knocked and waited for a response from within...

Akai was practicing her swings, when she received an odd letter from a recent acquaintance. It called for her presence and requested her help. She couldn't refuse, as she was quite sure that this person was one of the few people she had not offended almost as soon as meeting. She regretted having to stop practicing, but hopefully she could at least get a good jog in on the way there. She started running, occasionally looking at the paper to make sure she remembered the address right. After a time, she arrived at the house, with a Tyanno she had met before, and also a man she had seen after running straight into someone. Now, what was his name? Oh well, it seemed as though he was friends with Tyanno and Adrienne, so he had probably received a similar letter. She wondered if the problem was so great that it required four people, or if she needed some sort of counsel on what to do. It didn't matter, as Akai wasn't about to refuse help for her new friend. The jog over here had been satisfying, and that allowed Akai some sort of compensation for having to stop practice. This would probably get interesting before the day was through. As she stopped at the door, she called, "Hello! Did you also get a letter from Adrienne?"

Adrienne heard the knock and opened the door she saw her three friends standing outside, she was relieved they had made it safely expecially Alezand. "Hey you all good to see you again Akai you alrady know Tyranno but this other man is Alezand, and Alezand this is akai. Now that we have our introductions over with come inside and i will explain what is going on." she said with a smile. She hoped they could hel her she didn't really know what to do, she wished she didn't have to involve her friends but she needed advice. The letter was troubling her greatly.

"Hello dear, pleasure Akai," Alezand greeting both as the door was opened. They entered the humble house, which was tastefully decorated, despite fewer possessions that most other homes. He saved anything that was tied to his personal relationship with their host until there later, when there wasn't company around.
"So, what is got you in such a state?" He asked. He kept his worry in check. Whatever it was, it bothered him but for her sake, he needed to keep calm. He would do anything to help her. He only hoped that he and Tyanno could. Things were getting out of hand here. A war has broken out between the sister cities, and during a time when they needed to be united under one cause to defend against troubles outside the walls of Avaren. Things were very precarious indeed...

Akai looked at Alezand incredulously for a moment. Did he actually not remember her? Ah, now she remembered his name! Jozlyn. Alezand Jozlyn. That was what he called himself. For her own sake, she was glad that Alezand did not remember her, for she had been rather embarassed at the moment, and would loathe admitting her mistake. She had run straight into someone while she wasn't looking where she was going. It had been her mistake, no doubt, but she didn't want to bring it back up, so she wouldn't mention his last name. She simply turned to Alezand, and said, "The pleasure is mine." She looked kindly at Adrienne, one of the few people able to put up with her long enough to find a friend in her. "If you need help, I'll make sure to be there. I may not be perfect, but I don't let it hold me back! I don't let friends fight alone."
She walked inside, letting the others go before her. Once she had seen the worried look on Adrienne's face, she had become a little more thoughtful, and a lot less boastful. She wondered what sort of letter Adrienne had received, to bother her thus. She couldn't help but want to stirke back at the problem, were that even possible, to protect her friend from harm.

Once all of her friends were safely inside she took a quick look to make sure no one had seen them and no one had followed. She felt abit calm t seeing Alezand but she needed their assistance. She brought out the letter and said, "I recieved this letter when i arrived here not to long ago, i have already read it so i know what it says, i am going to pass it to each of you to look at, basically i am in need of advice as to what to do, i wish you all didn't have to get involved but this letter is very suspicious so i though i would talk it over with my friends which is you three." she said. She then put the letter in front of all three of them to read. She hope they could help.

Tyanno took the letter as Adrienne handed it to him, and rapidly read it. He then passed it to Alezand, and watched his fellow's reaction. "Alezand, are you thinking what I'm thinking? It fits the very story we have been hearing from the others. What do you want to do about it?" He inquired. This letter only confirmed what he had been feeling at the bottom of his stomach ever since their summoning.
They had been getting rumors and stories all over about attacks, stings and raids on those friendly to passing mages. People are rounded up in the slightest hint in their aiding magi to safety. And now word was getting around of Vidar's radicals luring known mages and allies under false pretense of peace. This letter confirmed all that, for the one who signed the letter, was a confirmed Vidar follower...

"Yep, definitely a draw to get you out into the open for capture. But my question is, how are they able to do so while you are in Aesir. I would think that messages sent by those from within the castle would be blocked in some way from entering this realm." Alezand remarked. It was very curious, especially the lengths that this woman was going to capture Mages for Vidar's pleasure. Drawing them right out of the mage city, it was a drastic motion, rather radical when Alezand thought about it. And it worried him.
He may have to go against Vidar again sooner than anticipated. He hoped to have gotten some venture out of the man before having to declare total arms against him. After all, Vidar did offer the position of Captain of the Guard for the city of Avaren, and if Alezand could persuade the leadership to adopt more conservative views, then it might be safe for all kinds of people to walk in the great city.
But this was crossing the line too soon. And something had to be done, soon, to stop it from getting out of control. He wasn't sure what was needed to be done exactly yet, but he had an idea of things to come. He passed the letter to Akai and explained what Tyanno and he were referring to...

Adrienne had watched Tyranno's and Alezand's reaction with a bit of confusion but once alezand explained Adrienne could see the seriousness of this letter but she first wanted to see what Akai thought. She still didn't know what to do if it was a trap then she should go but then again her curiousity about this women who lured mages was peaked.

Akai looked at the letter over Alezand's shoulder for a moment, before noticing how much like a pretext it sounded. It was quite obviously something that should not be believed. She twisted her face in thought for a moment, before deciding that she should stop Adrienne from going. "I wouldn't believe a d****d word this Tori woman says. Sound's like someone who wants to kill you, and I'll be d****d if any of us will just let that happen!" That was her honest opinion, as she didn't want to see her friend in the gallows.

Adrienne blinked in surprise at Akai's use of language. "So it seems you all think i should not go but i think i should i know it is a trap. But it would be nice to know what this woman looks like and how she fights. I think i can escape if it comes to a fight." adrienne said camly kowing thy would all object to her going.
