Napeir had set off with Tariku to find Repear, though it didn't go as planed and they ended up lost.
" if i could see the sun then i could get us out of here, and it will be getting dark soon so we are going to have some trouble" he told her

Tariku looked about from under her hood. She was disliking the forest more and more. It stank of very bad trouble. She looked up at the trees, thinking. "What if I climbed up that tree and looked about?" She pointed to an incredibly, tall pine tree with many needle-carrying branches.

Putting alot of focus in his hands he managed to change them into claws.
"training to be a shapeshifter" he said before lunging at the tree, claws sinking into the bark.
" if anything happenes yell" he called down.

Tariku dismounted, not taking her eyes off him. As he went higher up, she looked around, the darkness seem threaten to let something loose. She glared at it. "Damn your constant worry for me," she said silently, looking up again. She took both reins of the horses, they were company but it didn't help. She took out her herb knife from her pack and kept it hidden in her hand, inside her cloak.

Napeir reached the top, the sun which could not be seenm he only saw what was left of the rays.
As he went down he got his claw ooked into the bark, ripping it out causing him to lose grip. after falling for a second he managed to get a grip on the tree again, then continued down.
reaching the bottemhe hid the bleeding paw behind his back.
" we will have to camp here, the sun is way to low"he said
Walking over he picked up a stick and set it on the ground.
" that is the way we have to go"

"Camping.......here?" She looked around uneasily. "Cheerful, isn't?" she said sarcasticly. She gave Napier a small smile. "How come you went up instead of me? Do I look like I cannot carry my own weight?" She raised an eyebrow, walking slowly towards him.

He looked at her, not knowing how to answer the question.
"no,no i'm preaty sure you could have gotten up there, but it is a big tree, and if you fell......" he paused trying to figure out how else to explain.

Both eyebrows were now up. "I've climbed to the roof of my father's cottage. That tree would have been child's play." She put her hands on his chest, sliding them slowly to wrap themselves around him. She looked up at him, her hood darkening her face but her eyes sparkled. "I have my moments of damsel-in-distress but I am certainly not a weak girl."

"sorry" he said " i guess i'm just alittle over protective" he laughed
Reaching into one of the bags tied to the horses saddle he pulled out some cloth and well carved peices of wood. Then setting them up ward and tieing them together, he threw the cloth over it and tied it down.
" there, room for 2 mabye 3" he said.

Tariku smiled and bent to the ground. She smoothed out some bare dirt. "We'll make a fire here. "Shall I get wood?..........Or stay with the horses while you get wood?" She looked up at him with quirked eyebrow again.

She got up and gave him a kiss on his cheek. "I won't go far." She began to walk towards the dark. It seem to reach out to swallow her up but, she kept head up high, knife in hand. She looked back and smiled. "I'll be back." She walked in.

" ok, just try to make it before dark" he yelled, a worried look still in his eyes.
Napeir set off on getting the food organized, Repear was a two day trip at the most, so they had to portion the food corectly.
" i think we'll have some hurbal soup tonight" he said, pulling out a series of herbs and spices.

After a check of any danger, Tariku took off her cloak and piled sticks and broken branches. Once it was high enough to last them the night, she picked up the load and began to walk back to their camp. A noise from above made her gasp loudly. An owl peered down at her. She sighed, glared at the bird and continued to walk. She saw Napier and smiled. "I've returned, in one piece and with firewood." She put the pile down.
