Slivers are a type of magical creature that thrive to survive. Their are many types of this creature and they work together as a Hive. The truth of their origins are rather unknown. While their strengths are in there numbers their weaknesses are one on one. Slivers possess the magical attributes of supporting themselves. In other words, if one sliver possess a unique ability, then all Slivers possess this ability. The only exception to this is the two alpha slivers which possess abilities that allow them to rule over the others and other slivers cannot have these abilities. For example: Your character ends up encounter a group of slivers, one of those slivers is a Winged Sliver. Winged Slivers have the ability of flight thus that whole group of slivers possesses the ability to fly.
Now several lists shall be provided of the various types of slivers. Each list represents a certain color of magic that each sliver belongs to. In other words, their abilities revolve around that color of magic and nothing else.
White
Armor Sliver - slivers are capable of increasing their defenses by the means of magical forces.
Essence Sliver - when a successful blow is dealt by a sliver, that sliver drains it's target of their health and adds it to their own
Plated Sliver - slivers skins harden to become somewhat armorlike raising their defense*
Pulmonic Sliver - slivers possess the ability to fly and are revived after death when called upon
Quilled Sliver - slivers grow quills that can serve as projectile weapons
Sidwinder Sliver - slivers attack in a unique way that weaken's it's prey
Talon Sliver - slivers' talons grow longer allowing them to attack from a further distance away
Ward Sliver - slivers gain protection from a type of magic or weaponry*
Watcher Sliver - slivers become more aware of their prey's actions allowing them to be prepared for their attacks
Blue
Mistform Sliver - slivers can alter their characterists slightly to resemble a different creature
Mnemonic Sliver - slivers can sacrafice themselves in order to use magic spells or certain skills
Psionic Sliver - slivers can deliver mental psionic blasts that are near sucidial to themselves
Screeching Sliver - slivers produce a loud screech that causes their prey to halt their actions
Shadow Sliver - slivers become somewhat etheral not allowing them to attack the physical, but the spiritual or mental portions of a being
Shifting Sliver - slivers alter in such a way that only other slivers can produce successful combat results
Synapse Sliver - as slivers deal damage, they are capable of increasing their arsenal of spells and techniques that their prey is using*
Telekinetic Sliver - slivers possess the ability to read the surface thoughts of their prey (such as their next course of action)
Winged Sliver - slivers grow wings and gain the ability of flight

Basal Sliver - slivers can sacrafice themselves to transfer energy to other slivers
Clot Sliver - slivers can regenerate themselves
Crypt Sliver - slivers can regenerate other slivers though are exposed to attackers
Mindlash Sliver - slivers can attack the mind causing their prey to forget a spell or a technique temporarily
Mindwhip Sliver - slivers can attack the mind more harshly causing their prey to forget a spell or technique for a longer period of time than the Mindlash Sliver's ability
Plague Sliver - slivers become plauged with desease and weakened
Spectral Sliver - slivers can access the spiritual plane to boost their attack strength and defenses
Toxin Sliver - slivers inject a venom when they attack that eventually kills it's prey
Vampiric Sliver - when slivers slay organic prey, they feed and become stronger*
Red
Barbed Sliver - slivers become covered in small barbs making them offesnively stronger
Blade Sliver - slivers' talons become sharper thus increasing the strength of their attack*
Bonesplitter Sliver - slivers' talons become thicker and stronger increasing their strength even more*
Fury Sliver - slivers when attacking go into a frenzy type state that allows them to attack twice as fast
Heart Sliver - slivers can take actions faster than normal do to another heart created
Hunter Sliver - slivers grow a pseudo head that provokes their prey into attacking the false head
Magma Sliver - slivers can magically become covered in molten rock and increase their overall offensive strength greatly
Sedge Sliver - When the area is swamplike or is an area filled with death and darkness, slivers' strengths and defenses increase by melding with it and gain the ability to regenerate each other*
Two-Headed Sliver - slivers grow another real head that makes their attacks harder to defend against unless their are multiple beings defending against them
Green
Brood Sliver - when slivers deal damage, another sliver is created*
Fungus Sliver - when slivers take damage and survive, their bodies "grow" causing their strength and defense to increase*
Gemhide Sliver - slivers are capable of producing various types of energy for other slivers to use
Horned Sliver - slivers grow horns that are capable of piercing armor
Might Sliver - slivers' strength and defenses increase by increasing their own size*
Muscle Sliver - slivers' muscle sizes increase causing an increase in their strength and defense*
Quick Sliver - slivers can move faster than normal
Root Sliver - slivers cannot be stopped from entering an area by the means of magic
Spinneret Sliver - slivers gain the ability to use a weblike substain to capture flying prey
Artificial
Metallic Sliver - a weak artifical sliver with no special abilities
Venser's Sliver - an artificial sliver of moderate strength with no special abilities
Multicolored
Acidic Sliver - Black/Red - slivers turn themselves into an acidic bomb
Crystalline Sliver - White/Blue - slivers become crystalline and prevents them from being targets
Dementia Sliver - Blue/Black - slivers can cause their prey to forget a spell or technique, but will be vunerable to attacks
Firewake Sliver - Red/Green - slivers can sacrafice themselves to add a fire element to other slivers and boost their attacks and defenses
Ghostflame Sliver - Black/Red - slivers become ghostlike and are not affected by that which affects certain types of colors
Harmonic Sliver - Green/White - slivers give out a burst of magic as they entered destroying any enchantment or artifact*
Hibernation Sliver - Blue/Black - slivers can sacrafice their own health to flee an area and go into hibernation
Opaline Sliver - White/Blue - if slivers become a target of a spell then they can use that spell or related spells*
Sliver Overlord** - White/Blue/Black/Red/Green - Can directly summon a sliver and controls any sliver permently
Sliver Queen** - White/Blue/Black/Red/Green - creates a sliver
Spined Sliver - Red/Green - when a sliver is fighting against multiple beings their strength and defense increases proportional to that amount
Victual Sliver - Green/White - slives can sacrafice themselves to heal another sliver
* - indicates that the ability is stackable if there is more than one of the same sliver.
** - indicates Slivers that there is only one known of existing
*** - Using brown to represent black, because glow is just to bothersome to use.
