The Perfect Horse...

Evee had had enough. She was sick of walking and carrying crap loads of her groceries without any help, she knew a horse would fix at least a few hassles she had to endure. Evee traveled to the stables in search of a nice horse, a nice companion to take care of. Evee always saw animals as companions, just ones of a different sort. Evee made it up to the stables and saw many horses, the owner was right there as well. He was feeding the horses and grooming them. Evee took it upon herself to look at the horses to see which one she wanted. She viewed about ten horses in 15 minutes until she saw a beautiful black stallion. Evee's eyes lit up as the horse examined her as well. "Owner! I want this one!" Evee said to the horse breeder.

The breeder walked over to Evee and smiled at the horse she picked. "Ah, you want Eclipse eh?" The breeder said. Evee nodded happily and the owner opened up Eclipse's gate, holding onto her reigns so she wouldn't run free. "She's a real peice a' work, but she'll do ya right. The price is 75 gold. She's our prize horse." The breeder explained to Evee, Evee had no problem with money. She pulled out her gold pouch and set 75 gold in the breeders hand. In turn, the breeder placed the reigns in Evee's hand. "Pleasure doin buisness with you M'lady. Treat her right huh?" The breeder asked. "Of course I will. Thank you..." Evee said with final words. Her next task will be getting her feed and a saddle. But Evee wanted to take a few moments to bond with Eclipse.

Evee walked in front of Eclipse and stared her square in the eyes, rubbing her snout with her free hand. Evee had a serious expression on her face as she looked her new freind in the eyes. You had to let your horse know who's in charge. Once Eclipse whinnied Evee smiled. "C'mon girl, let's get you a saddle...." Evee said walking Eclipse out of the stables. She saw a small stand selling saddles at the end of the road so Evee decided to go there.

Eragon sat ontop of the stables, watching the girl go. He wished he had a horse, too. But they were gone. After his farm was being destroyed utterly. He sighed.

Evee kept walking along, she stopped at the vendor's stand and gazed over the many sadles she had. All of the sadles were pretty, elegantly made. Evee spotted one that was perfect. It was black with light grey stitching, very nice. "20 gold please M'lady." The vendor asked politely with a smile. Evee paid up and took the saddle from the stand, putting it on her new companion Eclipse. Once she fastened it on her, Evee mounted Eclipse and started off with a steady trot. She thought she ought to get some feed from the breeder instead of a market in the city, prices were too high. Evee rode back up to the stables and saw a man sitting there now. He seemed meloncholy. Evee rode near him then dismounted, holding Eclipse's reigns. "Excuse me, is everything alright?" Evee asked him concerned.

[Allen †]

"Nothing." He smiled. "I was just... hanging around. For fun." He said. Another bout of air went up his throat, giving him the urge to sigh again. He gluped it back down. "Nice horse." He croaked.

"Thank you. Her name is Eclipse, fits her perfectly I think." Evee said rubbing the hores's snout. Eclipse just looked around her calmly. Evee had never seen this man anywhere in the city so she assumed he was new here. "If you don't mind me asking, what's your name?" Evee asked curiously. She might as well start a conversation if she was going to stand here.

[Allen †]

"Eragon." he replied calmly and looked at the horse. "Its a beautiful beast." He stroked it admiringly. Eclipse sniffed his hand and his gedwey ignasia tingled. He laughed as the horse jerked back. A gret blue dragon dived down from above and landed next to him. It was a head taller than Eragon. "She is Saphira." he smiled.

Evee was shocked to see a blue dragon come down from the skies. Never has she seen such a thing. "Well, nice to meet you both Saphira and Eragon. My name is Evee Natalia." Evee said simply, still looking at the dragon in awe. There was something you didn't see everyday. And who knew he had a dragon for a pet? Evee had a feeling Eragon was very unique indeed. No one she ever knew had a pet dragon. Evee looked back at her horse and rubbed her snout softly, calming her again. "It's alright Eclipse, it'a all right girl..." Evee told her in a gentle voice. It would scare her too if a dragon came from out of no where, and it kinda did.

Eragon touched minds with Eclispe and told it softly that they meant no harm and the horse relaxed, looking at Eragon and Saphira curiously as it went over and sniffed Saphira. Saphira sniffed Eclipse back. It smells weird. Saphira said, her eyes twinkling.

When the dragon spoke, Evee fainted. Yep, right there on the dirt road. Eclipse looked down at her owner curiously and nudged Evee's side with her snout. She didn't come to but she was ok. It was just, different to see a dragon. Hearing it speak is two different things. Evee's hair spread on the ground and she looked like a sleeping beauty.

Eragon slapped his forehead. "Saphira! Don't direct your words to them like this." Sorry. Saphira said to him ONLY. (Mentally, its always mentally) He helped Evee up. "You okay?"
