Welcome to Wrong Side High School...Where just like in the movies....Things aren't always as they seem.
On the outside, Wrong Side High may seem like your everyday high school. Cliques, homework, pestering teachers...The usual. But behind closed doors, everyone has their secrets. Secrets worth keeping.
From heartbreak to betrayal, broken friendships to rivalries, you could say secrets are a students worst enemie.
Since the day the school opened, rules have been made, and broken, cherished memories and hurtful tragedies have become only memories of the past and yet there still seems to be events occuring around the school and town that have impacted each and every resident
Will you be one of the few who can keep their dirty little secret, or will you be one of the many unfortunates who will have to live knowing that everyone else knows?

In 1923, the founders of Hawthorne Heights, Joseph and Maryanne Hawthorne, first started the planning for their new school. They had one solid goal when designing the structure for the school and it's curriculm...all students shall be treated equally.
It took the couple exactly three years before they finally finished designing and planning the school. After that, another four was spent building the school and getting things ready before it finally opened in 1930. When the school first opened up, things didn't work so great. Both black and white students were allowed in the school, but despite protests from the parents and the community, the school served it's purpose...all students were treated equally.
After struggling for so many years, the school went through yet another problem when Joseph Hawthorne was diagnosed with cancer and set to die. Back in those days, everything was segregated and no one wanted to help the man who believed that blacks had the same right as whites. Still, he died, just like anyone would with his disease, but he left behind a memory that people would cherish for years and still cherish to this day.
On his bedside table, his wife found a paper that he had written for the mission statement of the school:
Though problems may occur and people may believe we will fail, we hold our heads high and try our hardest. We live together in perfect harmony and though problems will occur, we know we can overcome them, because we can do anything. Hawthorne Heights is not only a boarding school, but a place to bring all people together. In Hawthorne Heights, all students are equal.
To this day, the school has proven, against all odds, that everyone can be taught, students and teachers alike. It has proven that everyone is important. And most importantly, the school has proven that despite all differences, everyone has equal rights.

Welcome to Tree Hill, North Carolina. Home of The Ravens basketball team, Karen’s Café and some very dramatic teenagers.
Just like any small town, or city in the States for that matter, Tree Hill is well known for its talented, soulful, friendly, and at times, cold hearted and troubled teenagers and parents.
Such high school students include Nathan & Lucas Scott, half brothers with fierce attitudes and a mutual love for basketball. Brooke Davis & Peyton Sawyer, cheerleaders and best friends, who share a common liking for the same guys and activities, and Haley James, aspiring singer/song writer with an eye for captain of the basketball team, Nathan Scott.

In their third and Final Year of High School, all five came across challenges, opportunities and none other than thee well known, ‘disaster.’ They all dealt with these events in their own ways, some a little better than others I may add.
Haley, as a surprise to Nathan and to prove her commitment, returned from her musical tour with Chris Keller. Nathan attended High Flyers basketball camp, and had the experience of a lifetime. One in which he’ll never forget.
Lucas came to his confused senses and realized the girl he had dreamed about for years, was sitting right in front of him…An enraged Brooke Davis, who in fact believes that Lucas is still in love with Peyton, her best friend, and ‘sister.’
Peyton on the other hand refuses to admit her hidden love for Luc. She’s had her fair share of hardships without having to add to them. Ellie, the woman claiming to be her mother and who had actually become one in Peyton’s eyes, OD’d, leaving Peyton torn to pieces. Lost for love, hope and anything else she had to loose.
As for the others? Mouth moved on, although his heart longing to see Rachel happy. Rachel? Still head over heels for Nathan’s Uncle Cooper. Jake? Leaving Peyton with some things that have yet to be worked out. And as for the adults? Also known as their parents?
Kieth had returned to Tree Hill, confident with his ‘soon-to-be-made’ decisions, and ready to make the move of a lifetime. Karen was and still is the ‘apple-of-his-eye.’ All he had to do was let it be known. Whether Keith returned or now, he was the only think on Karen’s min and in her heart.
Dan and Deb of course, still had their difference in opinions. Dan is and always will be a jackass, no matter how hard he tries to convince people to view him differently. It will always be known that Dan Scott is the one with a guilty conscience. And despite the fact that this is true, Deb can’t help but feel the slightest bit of guilt, eating at her everytime she tries to leave him.

This being the same day where Keith Scott was killed trying desperately to save the life of his nephew and good friend, as well as Jimmy…The one whos name will forever be burned into those kids’ heads. The one who ended his life for the sake of himself.
There are only two people who know of Keith’s murderer. These two people being Keith himself and his younger brother Dan Scott.
With the end of one life, begins another…On the same day of Nathan and Haley’s second wedding, tragedy struck.
Not only did Lucas find out that Karen, his mother, was pregnant, but he also found the pregnancy test of one other woman. Who? There are only four that he knows of. These four women being, Rachel Gatina, Peyton Sawyer, Brooke Davis and the now Haley James-Scott.
On the way to the airport for a well deserved honeymoon, Nathan and Haley seemed to be on the ride of their life. Same goes for Cooper and Rachel.
Heading in opposite directions, Nathan and Haley’s vehicle veers to one side of the bridge as Cooper and Rachel, in the limo, veer to the other, but breaking through the barriers and billowing into the cold waters of the river below. Trapped and drowning, Nathan, being the hero that he is, and leaving his newlywed bride in tears, he jumps in to save them, while Haley waits for his return from the water.
