With a lady's grace, Insidia took the offered hand, allowing him to aid her in standing. For a moment, she considered taking is lead to another room. Her final judgment was otherwise, turning her back to him, she tightly re-laced her corset, and tidied up what was left of her clothes.
"Goodbye, Sir. I appreciated your home." Insidia said, beginning to make her way toward the door.
Not only did she not know what she would do, she knew nothing about this town, she did not know where to go. She may end up inside a dungeon, as the one in her phantasmal night terrors. She could not stay here, that she did know. Her welcome was no longer fit, nor did she feel any bit comfortable inside. Assuming David had other things to attend to and pay attention to wards, and in her supposed best interest, she stood at the door, giving a look past her shoulder.
"I wish the best for you..." She told him.
Her hands ran through her tangled, black hair, pulling through the knots painfully. Insidia began to have a great wonder for what was outside that door, her adventurous instinct led foreword a joy. She were unsure if she would lurk these streets for long, perhaps only mere minutes, and then she would return home...

David sighed and nodded his head. If it she felt that she should leave then, he wasn't going to stop her. He followed her towards the door after she had spoken those words about wishing the best for him. He couldn't help but return the smile towards her. He walked past her and infront of the doors.
As he had done before, David began to unlock all of the locks so that Insidia would be able to leave. He finally undid the last one, but still remained in Insidia's way of leaving. A depressed sigh escaped his lips as thoughts of never seeing this woman again filled his mind. Perhaps it was for the best as of now. He would have to let her go and then perhaps on better conditions they would be able to meet later on in the journey that was called life.
He slowly turned to face the woman that had aided him getting back to his home. He remembered his promise to her, though it was really entirely up to her whether she wanted his aid or not. "Insidia, I just want you to know. That if you ever need anything don't hesitate to ask me. Whatever it may be, I will help you if you want it." he told the woman calmly. He then wrapped his arms around her for a hug wondering if she would welcome the warm embrace of decline it. Either way, he cared for her. It wasn't everyday that some woman would save someone that they didn't even know.
"Be careful out there and I wish the best for you as well." David stated as he let go of Insidia. He gazed at her blackened eyes with his blue ones. For some reason, despite the unnatural appearance, it seemed to bring out something about her that made David want to risk his life for her. However, now wouldn't be the time of such things, he supposed. He opened the door for her and then stepped outside holding it open for the lady that would be leaving his manor and entering the streets herself.

It was an unease that someone may need so many locks on one door, this city may be far more dangerous than expected. The dark circles beneath her eyes had lessened, she appeared as though she had gotten enough sleep, whether that was truth or otherwise. Although she were shown a smile, she could not find it within herself to return the gesture. Insidia blinked numerous times, looking at the ground.
Suddenly she found herself with David's arms around her. This gesture at first frightened Insidia, though as she realized it were a mere friendly embrace, she calmed. She did nothing, her arms plainly at her sides, her eyes facing foreword. Such a strange feeling, no one had ever held Insidia this way but her father. The words spoken before did nothing for her, her thoughts were such that she would never see this man again.
"Goodbye." She said plainly, slowly, giving David one last look before stepping outside the door.

David nodded his head towards Insidia as she made her farewell. "Goodbye." he replied with the nod. He simply gazed forward and stood there watching as Insidia traversed over towards the gate. Eventually, she would be beyond that and in the streets of Avaren. His only hope was that she wouldn't get caught by any of the guards. Once she was out of eye sight, David slowly closed the door as if expecting her to come running back. Perhaps he kinda did wish that she would.
Once the door closed, he turned around and then leaned against it. He slowly slid down to eventually be sitting on the floor. He gazed at same wooden floor that he now sat upon and let out a depressed sigh of sorts. Perhaps he would find her again, but at the very moment there were more pressing matters. That female coming by was wearing clothes from the priest hood. This was a sign that whatever was going on meant that the priesthood had obtained powers that only the royal family possessed.
David slowly rose back up and knew that he had to do something. They were on a vendetta to destroy the mages. The only true aid that this warrior city had if they were to encounter a magical threat. He was going to have to act fast and find out what they were doing. He waited a few more minutes to make it less supsicious that he was going to follow the direction of that mage. In fact, he had left the door to search the house and gather supplies that he would need for a trip to the dark citadel.
