Night and Day Two bitter forces constantly struggling The Patron of Light seems to be the better half. But whom can be so sure? Night is chased away like a beaten dog Off to lick Her wounds, while Day stands Pompously over the earth, without remorse. Like a tyrant, Day, with its blinding Light and clash of colors. is cruel compared to Darkness, whom is forgiving and protective. One must be of light to hide in Day, with The difference of color, shade and tone. But Night, oh the shrouded Mistress Hides all who not to be seen, Collapsing color and shelters all, regardless Of shape or texture, in its deep hue. The Moon, the Deep Woman's heart, Sheds its glow sparingly, giving aid to those in motion. The Sun, The Unforgiving Warrior, the though may Give life, takes it away as easily. Blasting its rays everywhere, Blinding , hindering. Light is so discriminate, causing differences which then cause conflict, wars and strife. While the Shrouded Maiden, ever so Dark and beautiful, negates these obstacles And makes all unison and free in its Shadowed realm.
