Reno was sitting under one of the waterfalls that led into the lake, meditating. Sitting there, eyes closed, being blasted by the falling water. Not exactly fun. But it must be done. I need the self control to sit here, the strength to be pounded relentlessly, and the ability to focus while surrounded by so much noise. lets see if i can do a handstand here today. Getting up from his seated position, Reno crouched, bracing his forearms against the relatively flat rock he had been sitting on. slowly straightening his upper body, legs, and then his feet, he pulled himself into a handstand under the torrent of water. Closing his eyes, he dug deep into his inner energy, as this was quite challenging to do, espicially while being blasted with water. After about an hour, He slowly lowered himself back into a crouching position, then finally getting up and walking out from the waterfall and onto the shore, where he picked up a shortsword and began to swing it around, getting faster and faster with his strokes as time progressed.

Shiro sits on one of the rocks near the waterfall. He was on another stroll, wanting to know more about this country. He was walking by the lake and realized someone meditating. He jumped from rocks to rocks silently trying not to be heard and noticed by the man. He wacthed carefully, intrested on the man action. He watched him meditating and then starting to swing his sword by the shore. He stood up and jumped again down the rock and tried to get closer, but clumsly when Shiro was reaching a branch, he slipped and fell down the ground near the man......

Evee was walking around the peacefull lake grounds, where she had so many happy memories, but now when she thinks of them they make her sad instead. She approached the large waterfall, hoping to have some peace and tranquility. But instead she sees a man meditating under the waterfall. The cold forcefull waterfall. At first Evee thought he was crazy, no human could stand the temperature and pressure for that long, but her thoughts were interrupted when she saw another young man fall near the meditating red-haired man.
She ran and hid behind one of the trees, watching what would happen next. Evee hoped there wouldn't be a fight, she didn't like fighting unless it was absolutely neccessary. She was up on a grassy hill, not too far from the waterfall so she had a good view of the two young men. Her long, white, long sleeve dress brushed against her ankles as the cool winds blew. Her dark brown hair blew in the wind also, she tried pulling some strands behind her ear, but to no avail. She hoped they didn't notice her.

He defensivly leaped into the ari, spun and landed in a ready stance as he heard the man fall. when he realized that there probably wasnt a threat from the unarmed man, he relaxed andwalked over. sheathing his sword, shook his head. "hello there, trying to spy on old reno? Well, at least you are within hailing range..." he looked over his shoulder to the hill where the lady in white was standing. Sighing and muttering, he picked up the man in front of him and set him on his feet. "that was a nice fall you had there." he laughed, but it was interrupted by a growl from his stomach. he sighed. "hmmm.... might as well get some food..." he began to walk to where his stuff was, and turned back to the young man. "would you like some food? I dont have much, but i can share. he looked back towards the hill. hmmm.... wonder why she is staying up there... is she afraid? oh well... after i eat ill run up there and introduce myself. another growl from his stomach interupted his thoughts as he reached his packs and sat down. rummaging inside of one for a bit, he pulled out some food, and started a fire in the pit that was in front of him. grabbing an apple from his pile, he looked it over and began to eat it thoughtfully.

Evee sat down in the grass, leaning up against the tree. She looked away from the men who seemed to be eating in peace and thought it rude to watch them as they filled their stomachs. Evee started to reminice about the times she had cooked meals for the special men in her life, but that was a long time ago. Nothing but dreams in the past. All they did was leave her without notice and expect her to feel okay.
She never healed from those times, she's still healing. Her adopted sister Parin was the only person in her life that really loved her, and she knew she would stay. Evee had given up on ever having a man in her life, she just shyed away whenever she thought she was feeling something for a guy. Her life was a life of pain, and rare happiness. Parin was her only happiness.

A rustling came abruptly from the underbrush, heralding the arrival of a new creature. From the sounds, one would be hard pressed to get an accurate estimate of exactly what manner of creature was approaching, for it could vary between a particularly large badger to even a small deer. Yet it was clearly no small rodent that approached.
A deep growl perpetuated from the underbrush only a few feet from where Evee sat leaning against her tree. With the snapping of twigs and the tearing aside of small branches, a pair of creatures burst forth from the underbrush.
They bore the appearance of large dogs, with a layer of filthy hair that was tangled and matted all over, yet they bore a ridge of bony protrusions that rose in wicked points, starting out small at the bridge of their noses and growing larger as they went along the creatures backs, lessening in size once again as they extended down to the end of the creatures tails.
Their eyes gleamed with a ferocious hunger as they advanced upon the sitting girl, unceasing in their menacing growl, moving slowly almost as if daring her to make the first move.

OOC: Why me? As Evee sat there, she heard the snap of a twig, and then eventually some growling. Evee quickly stood up and turned around to see some sort of creature growling at her as if it wanted her for a meal. She was never one to run away from a fight, but she never entered a fight she knew she couldn't win. The beast was hidious (sorry ^_^) and looked as if it would give you a disease if bitten. She started backing up, forgetting about the hill that was narrow and steep. "*loud screams*" Evee screamed at the top of her lungs as she accidently fell backwards down the hill, getting hit by the occassional boulder that she rolled near. She wasn't sure if death was certain for her but at least she wasn't losing anything. Though she would be worried about Parin, she was only a child and she had no one to care for her. She rolled and rolled until she reached the bottom of the hill near thr red hair man and another man. She was unconcious.

Even as the girl screamed one of the beasts lunged at her, attempting to take a sizeable chunk out of her leg and disable her ability to flee, yet that plan was not to be successful now, as the girl tumbled head over heels straight down the hill.
Moving with the same calculated slowness as they had when advancing upon the girl, they picked their way cautiously down the hillside, making sure not to half-kill themselves on the way down, as she almost seemed to have attempted.
As they reached the bottom of the hill where the two men waited, a third figure appeared at the crest of the hill, obscured by the same tree Evee had only just been resting against. "Any kill you make shall be your dinner, so do hurry and make your creation worth it. Kill all three. he spoke into each of their minds.
Upon hearing his command, they broke into a loping run, letting loose ferocious snarl as they closed upon their prey.
