the winter fall

Napeir walked along the frozen shores of the lake, you could see through the ice and right to the bottem. The snow trinkled down and coated everything with a light frost.
" i love winter" he said " it is always so light and everything is at peace"
Napeir approched the ice cover water and took a step up on to it, almost instantly slipping and landing on his back.

[Tyanno Dynam, Allaine mage]

Tyanno was sitting in the trees once again. Winter was an interesting time for him, given his growing control over ice and water. Every where was a potential experiment. He was practicing throwing ice shards at hanging icicles in the surrounding branches, taming his accuracy and speed. He had a clear view of the now half frozen lake. It was shortly, to his surprise and to his slight amusement that he witnessed a fellow magi step out into the surface of natural glass and take a rather hard spill.

With a gentle thump, Tyanno landed safely to his feet on the ground below, his heavy cloak dusting the branches off as he passed through their grasp. He dashed over to the fallen wanderer, "Are you alright my friend? That was quite a slip there." Tyanno exclaimed as he slid up to the other mage and began to help him up. "Come to enjoy my home away from home I see. I'm rather frequent this place. It's solitude and beauty draws me. But you must really be careful. Ice is a treacherous and mysterious element. And this lake is not fully frozen yet." Tyanno cast a blanket of snow between them and the shore a few inches thick to provide traction. He then began to help Napeir back to the bank. "I am Tyanno Dynam, by the way. Why don't you let me have a look at that head of yours, make sure you didn't hurt yourself." the elementalist chuckled as he began to look for a forming contusion...

[Adiana Kieron Astraea]

With a heavy sigh, Adiana found herself walking the lake edge, not too far from Tyanno. She frowned when she saw the man fall and went to help only to find Tyanno had jumped from his perch and tended to him. She smiled slightly at her companion. He was truly a kind and gentle person. It was strange to think that someone like him would be a warrior mage. In all honesty, she wasn't sure if Tyanno could kill someone if he truly had to. He seemed to peaceful and anti-conflict.

Another slight smile crossed her lips. For a few more moments she watched the two men before making her way over to the small gathering. "Hello boys," she said casually with a smile on her lips and a slight twinkle in her violet eyes. She looked at the man she didn't know, knew him for a mage, and said, "I am Adiana Astraea." Once more she had said her name with a slight roll on the 'r', giving it that exotic ring.

napeir thanked tyanno for the help up and started across the snow with him.
" my head is alright, i've tooken much nastier falls in the past" napeir said with a laugh.
" by the way, i am napeir"
napeir then noticed a women approch them, giving her name.
" i am napeir" he said looking back at the spot where he fell.
" i'm just glad that i didn't break the ice, or i'd be in a real mess" napeir said, laughing again.

IC: Tyanno found no bruising and was satisfied that Napeir was fine. "Don't worry about the ice, I've got it covered." assured the sorcerer. the fresh snow that he casted crunched under their boots as he helped Napeir up and to safety. "Hey there Adiana, didn't expect you to follow me all the way out here, figured you'd might go exploring on your own. But I must say I find your company refreshing. I'm so used to traveling alone, you are always welcome in my presence, m'dear." Turning to Napeir, he asked "Now my new friend, tell me about yourself and what brings you out to the gifted solitude of the winterized lake?" Tyanno was curious, for whispers always got back to Alezand and the others about other resistance to Vidar's hold on the land. The mage before him fit the description of one who had been a lone problem to the unwarranted ruler. If he was who Tyanno suspected him to be, he would have a secure place within Rapaere and the ranks of the Militia. They could really use him in their numbers.

" i have always loved the snow fall by the lake, everything is scilent and always peaceful, but it won't be to long until the warrior armys occupie this region as well"he replied to the question.
He then glanced in the direction of the castle.
" what their doing is wrong, they only do it cause were different from them. I lived my life on the streets of that town, it was peaceful then but whats happened"
" sorry, got off subject. This....... this is the only place you can find that a war isn't going on in, its always peaceful" he finished

" what brings you here, is it your element of magic" he asked.

"Yes and no. I spend a lot of my time in the outer lands. I feel peace here, and it is where I can practice and learn at my own leisure until I secure a place in the halls of Aesir. Besides, someone must guard these precious treasures from invasion and also act as early warning if an attack is headed to Rapaere. I am an officer of the Rapaere militia after all. But it is my home here, no doubt. It is where I belong, for now..." Tyanno trailed off. He looked back at Adiana for a moment and then stepped over to a fallen log. He sat down and rummaged through his travel pack before coming up with a wrapped sandwich. He bit into it before a couple more from the pack and offering to both of them.

"So if you are so opposed of the Militant's acts and laws, why not do something about it? Ah, but I see, you already a hunted face by Vidar's pets, aren't you?" Tyanno perceived. "It is of no matter, you still hold your freedom and that is what matters, doesn't it?"...

Adiana smiled at the one called Napier and gave a nod of her head in greeting and awknowledgement. Then she turned her violet gaze onto Tyanno, her smile a little softer and a bit more warm. "Oh, I did do a little exploring but grew bored rather quickly, so I decided to join you. Glad to see you don't mind," she said and flashed him another smile. With that having been said, the young woman fell into contented silence, just listening to the men speak. As she looked at Napier she knew his aura to be that of a mage. It was quite a delight to have met so many by now.

Soon she turned her attention back to the conversation and frowned slightly as Tyanno spoke. Where he belonged? but her frown didn't stay for too long as she took in the 'for now' and the trailing off... She even caught the glance he had sent her, such words and actions threw her off just a bit but she kept it hidden behind a rather emotionless mask. When he offered the sandwitch she gladly walked over and took it from him with a polite and happy thank you before sitting beside him. Then she looked back at the other mage for his response as she took a bite from the sandwitch.

" yes, i am hunted, and i must agree with you. Freedom is what matters, but you have to back up your freedom if you wish to keep it" napeir said studying the sky.
It was starting to snow, the snowflakes slipping through the sky toward the ground.
" Rapaere you say, i provided my services if needed. I want this war to end, and i want it to end quickly at any cost" napeir said.
Napeir yelled out into the woods, a small grey cat appeared from the brush, clear as day against the white snow.
" that is megilan, a friend who i have left in the city to watch over the guards activitys. A friend inside is a friend you need to have in order to be perpared" he stated. Holding a arm out for the cat to jump up on.

Tyanno smiled broadly, this was who he was looking for. "Glad to hear it, my friend." He replied, looking intently at the cat. "Intriguing, I must say. And that is the value my master and I hold, fight within the enemy than against him. But we have withdrawn from Avaren for now. Alezand has a plan, and brilliant one, and you would be of much use. I see your determination and that is exactly what we need, someone willing to go to lengths. You will not be alone, we all are in this together."

He finished his sandwich and saved a sliver of the meat for the cat, which he held out to the handsome creature. He loved cats, sly, intelligent and noble creatures. He admired their stealth, agility and adaptability. Alezand had a gray cat once, and Tyanno used to love taking care of him during their short time together before their arrival in Avaren. He wondered now what happened to him. He would have to ask Alezand next time they ran into each other. "I could take you before the Captain and the Mayor if you wish. I am sure Alezand will have much interest on anything you can tell him about your exploits and intelligence on Avaren. We do go in and rescue new traveling mages before they are captured, but it still isn't enough. He would be proud to have one like you help."

megilan reached out with his paw and batted at the meat a little before accepting the offer.
" i've had him for so long, i have forgotten how we met" napeir said staring at megilan who was licking his lips.
" as long as this war ends, and its good to hear that i have many backing me this time" napeir said." I hate death, but its unescapeable"

" so megilan, what do you have to tell me today" he said turning his head toward the cat.
Megilan let out a series of meows and a hiss.
" i see, that can't be good" napeir turned to Tyanno " he says that the warrior armys are training in greater numbers day by day, the blacksmiths work shops are empty cause they have all been moved to the castle to build weapons in great numbers, like he's preparing for an assult or something"
megilan let out another meow.
" that won't do us any good, no good at all. More warriors are being summoned from surrounding areas" napeir stated aloud

" Tyanno, would you like any thing for megilan to check before i meet him again next week" napeir asked.

[Tyanno Dynam, Allaine mage]

(you know, its your turn to respond Adiana)
"Hmm, yes there might be some things. I need to know the best ways into the castle. Alezand and myself know well enough how to get into the city, but we need to infiltrate the castle. Not one of us is a shapeshifter, but we are masters of other types of stealth. We just need the direction. And any known postings of guards and their shift changes. A idea of strength and placement of resistance would save us time and trouble. And there will amiable award waiting our little friend here. I appreciate it greatly." Tyanno replied

He turned to Adiana. "Now I wonder what we shall do next. I am felling very energetic and am open to suggestions to how to spend our day. I do like to enjoy it for I fear that it will be awhile till we have another reactional day off."

Napeir wispered the information into megilans ear and megilan hoped off with a meow of good bye.
" i am a shapeshifter, or training to become one" napeir said
" might i suggest a way to spend your day" napeir asked "take some time to explore the cave of the damed, i traveled in it and came up in a caveren,it was covered in jewels, and with a bit of fire, it lights up like the night sky, a very romantic spot if you ask me" he finished switching his glances from Tyanno to Adiana
" if you need proof then i have jewels to prove it with" napeir said reaching into his backpack.
Napeir then pulled out a crimision red jewel.
" a ruby" he held it out to Adiana, then he said in a kind voice " for the lady".

[Kina =3]

Kina walked up to the frozen lake, and caught a falling snowflake. It melted slowly, into driplets of water. How Kina loved winter. He picked up a handful of snow, and threw it up into the air. It wandered down around him, and shone on the ground like diamonds. He smiled, and lay on the ground, and he was happy.
