The horse began to tire because Tariku pushed it to canter the entire time. Dawn gave the glassy lake firey colors. She stopped by its shore and dismounted. She looked back the way she came. The city was miles away, but her eyes searched for the man who helped her.

Having left his horse back aways, he jumped through the trees. He arived at the lake, spotting the woman at the lake shore. Approching the the woman he hollered out to her.
" good to see you made it here" he said.

She turned and suddenly seemed relieved. A bright smile glowed on her face as she watched him walk towards him. She almost gasped when her eyes met his. They were bright green, holding more color than any plant she had ever seen. She managed a
"I......I am glad that you are alright.......sir."

The way she looked at him, it gave him this warm feeling.
" it is good to see that you are well to, i am Napeir" he said before turning out to the lake, the stars glittering in its reflection.
Turning back to her his voice got caught in his throat again, her beauty was flooding over him like a breath of fresh air.
"umm.......i..........how...." he couldn't speak strait"umm, you had said that i was correct when... i said that someone had been..... chasing you, who was it"

Her smile slowly dimmed til it faded. She looked at the lake, almost sadly. "I do not think the guards were after me. The..........thing that hunts..........is......" She sighed turned her back to him, feeling the creeping regret. "As I said before, that story needs time and much understanding," she said almost quietly. Should she had left? Was it the right thing to do? she bit her lip and began to take off her cloak.

" it is fine if you don't want to talk about it, many things happen in peoples life that would make them unable to talk, then again many things take much time it is almost like a book" he said
He put his hand on her shoulder,
"if you want a place that is safe then i can esscort you to Repear village, they won't gudge you" he said.

She looked into his eyes again, taking in their brilliance, feeling the warmth of his hand, making it hard to talk. "its........hard to.........believe.......that there is such a place." Her heart beat began to quicken. 'why do I have the overwhelming feeling to-NO! I.........should.....' her thoughts clashed. She swallowed and place a hand on top of his. "Thank you," she whispered, still staring into those beautiful green eyes.

He felt a urge in the back of his head, the way she looked a him made his heart throb. Her beautiful red hair,the warmth of her hand on his, those brilliant green eyes. He fought with himself for a moment, then realized he was taking to long to respond.
"when... when would you like to......start heading that way" he asked, realizing he was stumbling.
He couldn't take his eyes off her, this feeling, what was this feeling, his body told him to do something but his head told him to wait, to wait.
"(I can't figure out what this feeling is, I can't figure out what i should do next, i know what i want to do next, but should I)" he asked himself
A voice in his head spoke.
("Go on, its worth it" )the voice said
(" but is it right to do it right now") he asked the voice, but the voice had gone
He thought for a minute, then looking into her light green eyes, feeling himself drowning in them, he leaned forward and lightly kissed her on the lips.
Then turning away, blushing red.
" sorry" he said " i didn't mean....."

In that brief kiss, she lost her breath. The warmth of that kiss spread to places that had been cold and empty. She found herself craving. Mimcking him, she placed a hand on his shoulder. Tariku walked until she was standing right in front of Napier. She placed a light kiss on his cheek. "Never say sorry for that," she whispered. She kissed his lips, lingering for only a while before pulling away, her head bowed. "We should start tomorrow morning." Against her will, she slowly walked towards her horse.

Tyanno was again in his customary look out post in the trees that bordered the lake, just a few miles south of the village where Alezand had gathered the hunted people of this land. He sat silently, expressionless watching the scene unfold below him. He was wondering that with the recent bloodshed and fighting and the threat of war still hanging in the air despite the pause on both sides, how could anyone find the time to find love and companionship as these two and several others had. Just to top it off, Alezand and Adrienne were to be married when they caught a break in their lives.
Nevertheless, he sat as stil as the surrounding branches, the water of the melting snow pattering softly on his darkened cloak. He was happy, one should not be mistaken, he understood a good thing when he saw it. But he was afraid of how fleeting these gifts that his friends were finding were in such a time of hardship and despare. These bonds of attraction and hope could be made to serve the evil that was growing.
But for now, everything as at an uncertain pause. Alezands plans had come to an unexpected halt, and a sudden lack of activity in Vidar and his troops had been witnessed. Worrisome was the fact that David had disappeared in search of Insidia and most of the Militia was getting restless...

"By the way, my name is Tariku." she said to Napier, taking off her cloak and putting it on the ground, next it, her pack. As she began unbuckling her horse's saddle, her paranoid sense of another person twiched. She looked towards the trees, watching them curiously.

Not wanting the moment to end he reached forward, only to pull back before she saw what he had done.
" tommorow it is then" he said in a soft voice, then saying her name over and over again in his head.
Noticing that Tariku had shot a glance at the trees made him aware of staring eyes, looking at all the trees in the area Tariku was looking he thought he saw a figure in the tree, then approched it. Looking back at Tariku before turnig back.
" whos there" he called out to the person in the tree.

She didn't know why, but she suddenly felt scared. She began to back, getting closer to the lake's bank, trying to hide from the eyes. Her hands shook a bit as her eyes searched to trees.

Napeir turned to see a frightened look on Tarikus face, he turned from the tree and approched her getting inbetween her and the tree.

"Something just doesn't feel right," she said firmly, eyes still on the trees. "I do not like to be watched." She had stopped backing because she was ankle deep of water. Fear faded, replaced by aggravition. "who's out there?" she whispered
