Napeir led Tariku to the lake shore, the stars danced in the clam lake.
" i have always loved this place" he said " i used to just stay here and sleep on the lake shore, so peaceful"

Tariku gazed at the lake. She looked at the starlit lake surface. She looked at Napier, smiling. "If you thought I needed a bath, you could have just told me." She walked towards the lake and knelt at its edge.

"wha.......i said that" he asked " if you want a bath, then i don't mind"
He smiled at her, staring at her, and the water, but Tariku Glowed even more, the light of sunset reflecting off her eyes.

She laughed, "I was teasing, Napier. And don't try to cover up the truth. I'm filthy and need to wash." She took a handful of water and splashed her face. Then, wet her hands and combed her hair.

Napeir got up and went to the waters edge, he reached his hand down and flicked water and Tariku. He then laughed and threw more water at her.
" there now your washed" he joked.
He ran into the water and came up behind her.
"want me to scrub your back" he asked.

Tariku gasped in mock-shock. "How dare you, good sir!" She laughed,"You must never soak a lady." She waited, then pushed him underwater. Laughing, she dove into the lake, away from Napier. She came up for air, shivering,"Its cold." She looked back to see if Napier was still there.

Napeir hid in the water, sneaking around to Tarikus backside and grabbing her feet, he started tickling her feet with his fingers then coming up for air.
" i am sorry, ma'lady, i did not mean to afend you in any way" he laughed.

"I'm sorry to say, good sir, that I am not ticklish." She arched an eyebrow playfully, splashed him the face, and, using her feet, she pushed away from him. She backstroked all the way back to the lake shore. Sitting on the sand, she laughed at Napier, leaning back on her bent elbows.

" well it didn't hurt to try" he laughed, swiming toward the shore.
Reaching the sand he crawled over to Tariku, setting his hand on hers.
" you realy like playing around" he said, his other hand throwing more water into her face.

She gasped and splashed him. "I haven't played since I was 5. And plus, you started it." She stroked his wet hair.

Napeir pulled out a Large jewel, carefuly setting it her hands.
"i found it on the shore a few years back" he told her, rubbing a bit of sand off her cheek.

Tariku gasped. She had never seen such a thing. Merchant men would come into Avaren with tiny sparkling stones, but she had never seen one like this. She held her palm flat gazing at the stone. "You found it here? Its.......its amazing."

Tariku's eyes stared at Napier. ".....m-m-m-me?.........You want......me.....to have it?" She looked at the (ooc:what color is it?)stone again. "B-b-b-b-but.......Napier.....I-I-I-I......b-b-b-but." She was stumbling, not wanting to be rude by saying 'no' but such a gift made stutter like a fool.
