Ritter inhaled deeply as he entered the city. "upon my honor, this city is amazing! They were right back at home..." He sighed as he shook his head. "too bad commander Aushe couldn't see this, He would be amazed..." Taking a few more paces into the city, he was quite the sight. Between his silver armor, polished like a mirror, and his lance, which was quite long, he was almost extravagantly dressed. The height of the lance also attracted attention. But Ritter did not mind. pausing at the entrance of the gates, he looked around and asked a young man for directions to the barracks. The man stared at Ritter with amazement. But it wasn't the armor that made Ritter noticeable, It was his handlebar mustache. His only real symbol of pride, and the one thing that he cherished more was his honor. stroking them as he asked, the man pointed the way to the barracks, and Ritter set off, ignoring the man's questioning look. "well, better get there before sunset... Don't want to fall in with the wrong types..." He laughed.

"I'm sure that you will find plenty of the wrong types at the barracks if you truly decide to go there now." a calm voice spoke from nearby. Standing to the right of the warrior that was attracting so much attention was another warrior. He weilded a spear as well along with two long swords that he was capable at weilding at the same time. Of course, his spear wasn't as long as ther warriors and he wasn't dressed like Ritter either. In fact, David was clean shaven as well. He stuck to the leather and fabric outfit as he deamed it superior to plate and chain mail or at least when it came to his style of combat. He required more speed and mobility over defense despite his efforts going towards a dragoon.

Ritter turned to see the stranger who had commenced the conversation. Noticing his lack of protective adornments. "Those clothes won't get you very far in a war my friend! But I am sure that you know what you are doing. If you could, would you be my guide? I'm afraid that this city is new to me." And, out of habit, he polished his lance with a cloth he produced from an internal pocket in his tasset.

A third warrior strode calmly over to the others. He was clad in shining platinum armour and had a long broad sword attached to the back of his chest plate. His face was hidden by a tall, almost shimmering helm. "If you men are going to tour the city, I would be pleased to accompany you," he spoke in a deep voice. "I am Thoren, and I have journeyed long from the most distant regions of this kingdom and beyond."

David arched a brow towards the offer of being this person's guide. However, he didn't feel that it would be necessary especially at how he commented about what David wore. He sighed and looked the other way as he was fixing to simply walk off and leave the warrior that was polishing his spear. He didn't need to be bothered by him at least right now of all things. He took one step and that was all it took for another voice to sound as he slowly turned around and gazed upon another that was wearing full platnium armor.
This irked David greatly seeing all these individuals wearing such heavy armor as compared to him. However, it was to each his own and David probably could guess how both of them preferred to fight. Though a spear was made for being more of a stationary weapon, it was still useable as a mobile weapon as well. David prefered movement over being stationary and being able to move quicker than those with a boardsword usually gave the spearman an advantage. These too probably relied on the defenses of their armor and their brute strength over their wits, but he wasn't about to jump to any hasty conclusions.
"I guess I can show you the way to the warrior barracks." David voiced calmly, though the tone of aggrivation could be heard, "Follow me." He turned around with his white cape following after his movements as he began to walk down the street with the other two behind him. His hands were buried deep within his own pant's pockets.

'Good, a fellow warrior,' Thoren thought, 'though at the moment he doesn't seem too friendly. I should be cautious of this one if I am to stay here for a while.' Thoren began to follow the strange man, taking mental notes of his quick steps and his light armour. He looks weaker than most muscle-bound warriors, but I bet he fights quickly and deadly, this one,' Thoren judged.
As they walked slowly through the city, Thoren couldn't help but marvel at the engineering genius that created the luxuroius-looking surroundings. People of all kinds walked quickly past, some wearing plate armour like himself and others wearing flowing robes clutching large tomes between their thin, magic-filled fingers. "Quite a variety of people in this city," Thoren remarked aloud, "Is there a majority of classes within this community? I mean, do the warriors heavily outweigh the amount of mages, or vice versa?"

Ritter eyed Thoren with curiosity. "In this city, magic is no more than a fairy tale... so in answer to your question, yes. Where are you from, may I ask? I'm guessing that, like me, mages are abundant there."

"Then you all haven't been involved with Avaren's recent history." David spoke softly though still very audible. He glanced from one individual to the next and then forward again as they walked through the city. His pace was steady and showed nothing to stopping anytime soon. "Of course, Avaren rather keep that information quiet as of now. And as for your question with mages, the current existence will be decreasing drastically if the queen continues to execute those that are supisous. Eventually, they will erase any thought of it. Though it's existance is still very existant."
