Tsuzuki had been riding for several months now he had lost track he was not expecting such a place to exist. He finally found civilization. However as he rode to the castle he stopped and dismounted his horse and pulled out his sword and the stones he had been using for camp fires. He actually was amazed he grabbed the gold he had but there was no where near enough to buy anything. That didn't discouraged him one bit he looked at his horse and then removed the saddle and the reigns he then said to the horse. "Thank you Ink Stone..no go and be wild."The horse neighed a displeasing way."Don't argue with me. just go."Tsuzuki said and the horse began to gallop away.
''OK here we go.''He said and walked into the bustling city he knew one thing was for sure. ''This will be great.'Was his only thought.

ooc- I just usually would message someone if you wanted to someone to post with you, then again, I never start threads myself, so I wouldn't really know. On the same thought, it means that if you ever need someone to post somewhere you need only to message me and I’ll do my best to help out.
"Hello there, newcomer," Came the voice familiar to many inhabitants of Avaren; that of the gatekeeper Rotiart. He had been watching the stranger from his post before he even made it into the city, and was a bit confused by his actions. "You know, if you had wanted, I could have found you a stable for your mount." he said offhandedly.
"More importantly, if you're new here, there are things about this city you should be warned about before you go getting yourself into trouble, but first things first: introductions." He said, extending a hand towards the other man, "My name is Rotiart, gatekeeper of Avaren."

OOC: sorry about the ooc post it was just the fastest thing that came to mind.
IC:
"Thanks but the horse was getting up in age you understand right?"He said and gave a chuckle. He listened to the gatekeeper for a bit then he mentioned introductions."My name is Tsuzuki Sanada."He said plainly but the mentioning of trouble got him intrigued."Well would you mind telling me some of the laws here in...Avaren."There was a pause before he said the towns name it was just different than what people would call their cities but everyone is entitled to their own word."Please to make your acquaintance Rotiart"
He'd miss the horse but he didn't want the horse dying the the stable but he knew it was more of a wild horse than anything it just needed lots to eat and lot's of space to run. He looked at the gatekeeper and awaited the gatekeeper's reply.

ooc- It's no problem, just remember that in general the people on this site are really friendly. Well, at least everyone's been nice to me so far of those whom I've talked to and posted with.
"I guess that's quite understandable," Rotiart said in response to his comment about his horse, "If it's days are numbered and drawing to a close it's better to let it live the rest of it's days out in the wild than captive in some stables, I suppose."
"Okay, let's see what you should know," he said, when asked about Avaren, lowering his voice once again as he spoke of it, "There have been a great number of injustices to the people, brought about by the lords of this city themselves. They've gone completely crazy, accusing innocent and guilty alike of 'witchcraft' before throwing them in the dungeons and ordering their executions. In fact, I heard rumor that there was a disturbance in the dungeons not too long ago, resulting in each and every last prisoner ending up gone."
Shaking his head sadly, he continued, "It's not only that, either, they've been accusing people at random of these crimes, pulling anyone they think is suspicious off the streets for questioning. Personally, I would have avoided this city if I were you, although I suppose by this point I should just advise you to be careful."

OOC: I'll remember that.
IC:
Tsuzuki listened to Rotiart and the problems with the city however he and not heard anything about this anywhere else but he didn't care. Witchcraft was somethign he never even heard about. He figured since it was something to look into he looked at Rotiart and said. "Rotiart this 'witch hunt' so to speak. Are the rulers scared of something? Scared of losing their subjects or what exactly is the 'wich hunt' for exactly other than for what you have mentioned."
All Tsuzuki really sought was a way to see if he could help but this was gonna be over his head if it was about their rulers maybe he could help them. If this was somethign else then he'd fight to save anyone innocent.

"You see," replied Rotiart, seeing as they came down to the root of the problem so quickly, "That's just the thing. It started with the queen of Avaren decreeing to purify her city and cleanse it of 'heretics'. Problem is, she lost control of it very quickly. After a few deaths caused by her witch hunts, including that of a dragon, the church rose up and dethroned the rulers of Avaren."
"Now, Father Vidar claims to rule the city alone. He tells us King Elyan has died and no one has even the slightest clue where Rianne has disappeared to. Meanwhile, Vidar continues on with Rianne's legacy, showing no signs of halting this crusade."

Tsuzuki instantly was shocked to hear all of this he knew it was time to face the father and prove that 'cleansing' is something that cannot be done so rashly."Well it sounds like this will be a challenge. This witch hunt has to end."He said aloud This witch hunt would destroy the city unless one person or everyone in town realized this is slowly killing their town. He didn't want to do anything really bad but this was a matter of life and several deaths. He had to take this chance.
"I have a bad feeling about this entire witch hunt."He said and looked to the gatekeeper and said."Rotiart may I have permission to enter this city?"He figured if he was gonna enter he'd have to do it politely. After all might as well be nice about doing something instead of forcing oneself in.

"Shhhhh," Rotiart said, quickly trying to squelch Tsuzuki's loud protests to the witch hunts, "If you're heard saying such things, it could get the both of us imprisoned for high treason, which is almost certainly immediate execution. Better to do things in secret than out in the open until you at least have some additional support."
While Rotiart supported what he apparently saw as the just cause, it would be completely wasted if he got himself killed before he even had the chance to make a difference.
"Your bad feeling would be correct, it does nothing but cause the people to live in fear of their own protectors," Rotiart agreed, "Enter then, and welcome to the City of Avaren." he said, puzzled that the person would actually request entry, a polite gesture as Rotiart would not have denied it anyways.

"Right best get going thanks Rotiart."He simply said and waved to the gatekeeper he had made his first ally he'd have to really get this witch hunt to stop. He'd also have the get the people to join behind him. This task was gonna be tough best get warriors and guards. He hoped this would lead to the revolution.
This was his path a warrior of light in the darked armor. His blade by his side he was now in the warrior city.

"Good luck," Rotiart said simply, waving after the somewhat outlandish person, knowing he would surely need it.
