Eragon walked through the forest, holding a bow in his hand. Suddenly, an explosion shattered the night's silence and he turned. A blue stone was sitting on the ground just behind him. He slowly bent forward and picked it up.
There was a vcrack and he jumped back. A squeak reverbarated from the stone and the stone shattered. Eragon watched in wonder as a dragon crawled into the moonlight. Eragon recoiled in shock.
He went forward slowly and touched the dragon. A blast of energy surged up his arm and he gave out a wild cry. He tried to move, but he can't. After about a few hours, feeling returned to his limbs and he watched in amazement as a diffused oval formed on his palm.
He looked at the dragon suspiciously. He knew it had happened again. He picked up the dragon and tucked it into his wood-frame pack and pondered what had just happened.

A great eagle soared over the treetops toward the almighty crack, a teenage girl on its back. "Down, Eron!" her voice rang out and the bird went into a deep dive, landing on the ground. The girl jumped down and walked up to him. "I'm Alenya. I was flying around and I heard a crack and a scream. Is everything okay?" she asked worriedly.

Eragon nodded then pushed the whimpering dragon's head into his pack. "Nothing. Nothing." He said.

Alenya frowned and shrugged; if he didn't trust her, then she wouldn't trust him. "Whatever," she said aloud. Under her breath, she muttered, "Whole lot of nothing if you ask me..." She looked at his pack, which was starting to smoulder. "Might want to check your pack for anything flammable," she smirked.

"Nay, my dragon is too young to start a fire. Perhaps she is just... just... upset." Eragon thought for awhile. Maybe the dragon is upset because it wanted to look around it. "It doesn't breathe fire utnil around six to seven months old, which is when they are ready to mate."
