Tallice and Eragon walked together to the forest in silence, not a single word spoken. Tallice looked around as it was dark and peaceful. She felt akward not talking, because she has always had something to talk about. She decided to let her mind be free and peaceful as they continued their walk.

"What are you thinking about?" Tallice asked Eragon. Looking around as she followed the path. "You just seem so deep in thought?"

Eragon shook his head. "I was just thinking about... about some people." He said. His mind was full of his adventures since he found Saphira's egg. He only wanted to stay in this Pensieve mood and the silent environs was just suitable for him.

"Oh. Ok." she nodded. While walking her dress snagged on something sharp and ripped it. "Ah, again." she sighed with frustration. As she reached down to remove her dress from being snagged she sliced her hand open. She winced in pain not realizing how bad she was cut, but of course didn't care to look either. She pulled her dress and it came undone, she continued to walk along beside Eragon.

Eragon looked at the surrounding trees. They were dark and still, quiet as death. A deer bounded across their path and Eragon instinctively drew his sword and killed it. What's wrong with him? He stared down at the dead deer. Why can't he kill humans like this? He sheathed his bloodstained sword.

Tallice heard Eragon draw his sword, she swiftly turned her head to look at Eragon "What are....?" as she saw the deer drop dead "Oh, my god Eragon, you killed it." bending down to see if there was anything she could do for it. Standing up, she looked at Eragon and shook her head walking on.
As she began to approach an opening in the forest, she heard a tree limb snap. She pulled her daggers out, then dropped them "Ahh, what in the heck? Lumos!" she said as she held a small crystal in her hand that shown a little bright so she could see how badly cut her hand was. Tallice looked at her hand, seeing a gash in her hand all the way across, but diagonally like the start of a V shape. "Nox!" whispering loud enough as the crystal's light disappeared. Tallice untied her apron and wrapped her hand in it.

Eragon shook his head and sighed. He grabbed Tallice's hand and ripped off the apron. "Waise Hiell." He said irritably and the wound healed itself. He then let go of Tallice's hand and shoved the apron into her healed hand. He bent down to the deer. He gazed at it, wondering what can he do with it.

"You know, you don't have to keep kissing my every bump and bruise. However, I won't complain." she smiled "But thanks." she then looked down at the deer. "I have idea." she said "Eragon, use your healing power to seal the wound. I can bring her back." she added.

Eragon shook his head. "Its too dangerous. " He said. "You can't break the border between Life and Death!" Eragon frowned at Tallice. "You'll be in the danger of dying."

"Yeah, I guess your right. Thanks." she smiled. "Wow, he really does care." she thought to herself. "You're something else, Eragon." Tallice said as she patted his back gently.

Eragon looked away. "Brom taught me." Then he laughed slightly. "I was stupid. Of he hasn;t told me, I would have tried to bring someone back to life, and get myself right into Death's embrace instead."

"Intelligent." Eragon scoffed. "If you say so..." He looked away again. "In my hometown, they told me I was an overeager boy, and I like to ask questions... which irritated Brom the most." Eragon laughed a little. "I was stubborn too."
