History: Scarlet was born in Avaren to her mother and father, Brea and Raoul Novendot. Both were warriors, Paladins, of the Church of Avaren and were well involved with church activities. She grew up for six years as an only child, living quite peacefully with her parents up until when Mia was born. The two of them were close as children, as they looked very much alike despite their age, but that slowly began to rift. Raoul and Brea got into a fight about the church one day and Raoul left and never returned. Brea became depressed and left her children to become a priestess in the church. At the time Scarlet had been 16, and Mia had been 10. The two sisters managed to get a home together and Scarlet worked to support them both in the local tavern. She too became very loyal to the church and always attended mass and strived to serve God. Also she swore her loyalties to the King and Queen of Avaren.
Things were not alright though. Mia was a strange child and odd things would happen around her sometimes. Of course the young girl was devoted to God and the church as well, but all the same, things weren’t right. As sisters they often bickered, but that was to be expected.
When the Cleansing of Avaren became announced, Scarlet was very tense and hated the wicked creatures in her land. She came home one day though after working and got into a fight with her sister. Mia’s emotions rose enough that she let loose some magic. Scarlet was horrified and threw out her younger sister, telling her to never come back. Now Scarlet is living alone and is going to join the ranks of the Warriors of Avaren to fight back these heathens. It will always rest heavy in her heart though that she had to throw Mia out, and she worries about her every day.
