Færys had spent forever looking through the shelves, trying to find something that she wanted to read. She finally found a boook worthy of reading. It was some story about heros of ancient times, but it wasn't a completely dry read. She seated herself on the floor, right next to the shelf that she had found the book on, and began to read. The book talked of important deeds preformed by ancient heros. One name caugt her eye, Simon Saerreas I, grandfather of the Pure Simon Saerreas III. Pure... Right... She thought to herself. Reading of her great-grandfather made her almost wish she had not changed her last name to avoid assassins. As she read on, the book told of how he had exorcised a village of many demons. He seemed like a lot better of a man than his grandson. She closed her eyes in thought, preferring to imagine herself as someone like her great-grandfather.

A search for his daughter, his dearest and most cherished. He know much about her, and books she was loyal to, and the libraries. He knew just how many hours she would spend reading, studying, though...never days. Perhaps she had interfered with a sacred tome. The large library would be the first place Noctis must search. His blood burned with rage, and his eyes, cold as ice.
As he entered, his long black robe dragged along the floor, moving along left behind dirt from the shoes of others. Her scent of sweet, young, flowers was not within the air. His unearthly senses felt naught of her as well. His heart too, what was left of it could not find Insidia within this place. Farther his concern grew.
Noctis turned with haste on his heel, a female sat at a table, reading a book, and before her suddenly appeared a figure, out of nowhere! His aura was weak, he never moved, not an inch, he did not possess the ability of such magic! How could this man have done it? He too spoke words, though hips lips, his body, his eyes, did not move.
Noctis walked with thundering steps of his black, tough leather boots. The female was of no bother, she was ignored. He loomed over this man, towering with his tall height, his greying black hair hung off his shoulders as he leaned close to the stranger's head. His black, gloved hands surrounded the man's head, though untouching, even still, so close, there was no aura, less than a corpse. His left arm fell to his side, while the other reached over the man's right shoulder.
"Do you pretend to be a gargoyle?"His deep, matured voice asked, with a snide tone, for a snide remark. "Or are you too pathetic to make a movement? I have seen your mysterious entrance, and heard language spoken from you. Do you hide in the mystics? Or was your soul sucked out?" A small, much more sarcastic laughter came from his throat.
Noctis began to burn with passion, one to recognize this man's powers, if he had any at all. He would face this stranger with a challenge, one Noctis was sure this man stood no thread, and would fall. His arms folded across his chest, his chin tilted slightly up wards, awaiting a response.

Fæ was disturbed from her reading by a commotion that she did not expect. Someone had begun to talk to her, and another had begun arguing with him. She decided that the fight wasn't hers, though, and so continued to read her book, wondering if she could possibly ever make it inside such a book. She overheard pieces of the conversation, but was to enthralled as Simon Saerreas I worked through hardships to dispell a large group of daemons, all bent on the distruction of Avaren. This seemed to be a long time ago, but she had not known that her great-grandfather had lived in Avaren. She quickly turned toward the outlander as he laughed at the other, but turned back just as quickly, not wanting to be distracted from her book.

"You dare not speak in return, savage pig?!" Noctis shouted toward the man he threatened before. His words were shouted with an eerie, growling sound, devilish it was. "You will not be reading any books today..."
In an instant, his tall form was in front of the man, his long arm reached toward the man. His large hand grasped the corresponding side of his throat, his shoulder moved, lifting the man from his feet. As he suspended this man in the air, Noctis could feel the warmth in his flesh rise, and his other arm grasped his neck as well. His fingers, like talons, squeezed the sides of this man's neck, the contents of his stomach were rising up to his throat. Quickly tightening his hands, causing a sharp pain just before this man's eyes came too a close, and his conscious was choked from him.
"Pig." Noctis uttered, and dropped the man's body to the floor.
And just as he had rid that one fool, another appeared, the same way! A new man appeared form nothingness and spoke without any movement! Was this place cursed?! Whichever way, he too would fall. Noctis' black eyes preyed on this new man, who's words were even unclear. Then, he began to move! This man could move! A relief it was, though that were not enough to lessen the fury and frustration Noctis felt toward him. Perhaps these strange creatures could have stolen Insidia...
Stepping in front of this new man, Noctis showed a snide smile, and raised his arm upward, the palm of his hand in front of this man's face. "I'll do away with all your kind." He spoke before placing his palm roughly over the man's mouth. A smoke-like substance with the scent of rotting flesh, ascended from his palm into the man's mouth, traveling down his throat, into his stomach. Noctis watched as he choked, and for any struggle that may happen, his left hand held the back of the man's head. As conscious left the man, Noctis let his pathetic body drop as well.
Giving a quick glance to the woman reading, nodded his head at her once before turning around. His daughter was not within this place, he refused to waste anymore time around it. His head bowed as he left the library, his darkened heart overflowing with ache, wishing for the safety of his dear daughter.
"Insidia...come back to me..." Noctis whispered to only himself as he opened the doors, and continued stepped outside, continuing his scornful journey.
( Johnny Storm and Victor, your characters have been rendered unconscious by the outlander, you may not post in this thread any longer. )
