With a bellowing squeal like that of a Banshee, the large, oaken doors to the Library opened slowly. With a purpose, Rith entered still with a slight hobble in his step from the recent injury he sustained to his leg. The wound had been properly treated and bandaged when he returned to Aesir, after his futile struggle against a pair of Slivers. Never before had Rith encountered beasts of that sort and he came here to learn more of them. If he was ever to encounter one again, he was going to be prepared for it, so that he or noone else would be harmed by it again. And if there was any place that would have information on such mystical beings, this would be it.
After pushing the doors shut once again with a similar wail, Rith proceeded deeper into the Library, perusing the books, upon shelves, upon walls of information for some sort of magical bestiary or even a book on the sickle-armed creatures themselves. He knew it would be difficult, since he had no idea what these beasts were even called, if they even had a common knowledge name. This did not detur him though, for he made a vow to himself to not exit this library until he was able to find some information on the odd beasts.

Tyanno, in his new found excitement and freedom, had perked up with a spirit never before since his rescue from the dungeons. In his new fervor, he decided that whilst he was here, in Aesir, he might as well start that instruction he wanted and desperately needed. He had thus entered the library in a bid to ascertain more knowledge of enchantments and their area effect abilities with elemental spells. he needed to learn to encase various tricks in his arrows, or better yet, learn to use the arrows as a conduit for his powers. If he could do that, he would be a powerful combatant, extending his initial range of attack to that of his long bow and increasing the accuracy of his effect desired.
So here he was perusing the volumes in a feverish pace, when he heard the doors open and then shut. He was standing on one of the ladders, searching one of the highest shelfs when the sound rang through the vacant hall. So he picked his head up and peered over the towering case itself. He caught sight of a somewhat familiar mage striding into the cavernous room. A smile crossed his face as recognition came as the newcomer approached closer to his perch. "Ah it is a about tome I saw you again," he hollered from his high position. Sliding down the ladder, nearing burning his hands in the process, Tyanno jubilantly ran up to meet his acquaintance. Quickly bowing his greetings to Rith, he asked, "So what brings you here to this hallowed hall of intelligence? You do have a very determined look on your face." His eyes drifted to the wound left by some vicious beast, "Are you alright?!" he asked in alarm...

"Good day to you as well Tyanno. Worry not of my leg, please. Just a mere battle scar I got from a strange creature." Rith said passively as he continued to shuffle along the bookshelves, strumming the pads of a couple fingers down the spines of the tomes. When something appeared promising, he'd remove it from its place, skimming through the pages for a short time, before quietly slipping it back into its place. Finally, after quite a while of silent search, he came upon a dusty, old book with an image reminiscent of the creatures that attacked him emblazened on the cover. "Eureka!" Rith spouted emphatically as the echoes bounced about the Library's cavernous structure. "In this tome lies the information I seek, I know it Tyanno. These creatures will never harm another innocent again, so long as I can help it." He added boldly before blowing a heavy breath over the cover to disperse some of the dust. Sighing contently, Rith turned back to the young Allaine mage and said in a somewhat embarrassed tone " Ha, ha. In the throws of my mission, I had forgotten my manners. Forgive me for my one-track mindedness, for I surely have taken time away from your research without even knowing it." Figuring Tyanno came here in search for something to study from as well and had deturred him from it.

Emilie glared irritably at the closed oak doors that provided the entrance into the Arcane Library. Several fragile-looking scrolls were cradled against her chest. She always seemed to have something with her, whether it be books to replace or scrolls to relocate. Now was no different. Somehow, Emilie managed to extract one hand from beneath her load- said load wobbling dangerously- to turn the handle of the ornate double door, admitting her into the library. The loud creak of the doors hinges were audible throughout the entire hall, so loud was the noise. The young woman grimaced and slipped through the doorway, careful not to jar her burden. Carefully, she braced her shoulder against the wood and pushed it shut once again.
As she passed two young men conversing amidst the shelves, she caught sight of the book one of them was holding. An image of a creature was depicted on the cover, one she knew she had seen in one of the numerous bestiaries distributed about the library. Slivers, they were called. She blew absently at the lock of hair that was a constant irritation against her forehead and frowned. What could this young man possibly want with creatures such as that?

Tyanno was about to comment that Rith was of no bother to him, when a young women half hidden behind a stack of scrolls stumbled into the room. She teetered up past them and glanced at the volume that Rith was poking through. He quickly snapped out of his little daze and trotted up to the girl. "Here, let me take some of these for you. You needn't have to juggle them all." he said gently as he took a good number of the items into his long arms, finally allowing him to see her face clearly. She had light brown hair and piercing eyes.
He smiled and bowed a short way to her, careful not to lose the cargo he had just taken. "I'm Tyanno Dynam, and this is my friend Rith Matou. Please let me help you take these over to their proper place." the elemental apprentice introduced himself and Rith. "You seem rather new here. welcome to this place." he added upon his initial observation of the lady. He turned as he let her lead the way to the rack where the scrolls belonged. He called over his shoulder to Rith, "And you too, my friend. I wouldn't mind assisting you in you mission. It would be a good training point for me and you look like you could use the back up."...

OoC: Excuse the shortness, I'm sitting armed with a Mortein Mosquito Spray trying to guard against these huge insects as well as type. ==;
BiC:Emilie was just turning away, shifting the weight of the scrolls in her arms before a good half of them were plucked from her grasp. The weight lessened considerably and she looked at the second young man - who, admittedly, she had not paid much attention to before now. Her mouth opened into a surprised 'O' as he spoke, the rising protest unborn.
Nevermind... If he wanted to help, let him. Emilie couldn't hide an amused smile as th- Tyanno continued to rattle on about this, that and the other. "Emilie Genevray. A pleasure." She said shortly, bowing her head in reply to his introductions.
