The Land of Thannendell has been warred over for many years, for its lush abundance of resources has always been a place to which most people flock. Now there are but three official factions left to continue this free-for-all: the Legions of Betharja, the Hordes of Tachanarm, and the Sethen Regimens. No faction is superior to the others and no faction is weaker than the rest, but all can change at the blink of the eye.
A major contributing factor, of course, are the natives and the other creatures of the land, who do not wish for their home to be run down by angry mobs of soldiers squabbling over who gets a tree in their backyard and who does not. They, knowing the lay of the terrain and having camouflage on their side will always be trying to get in the way of all three factions, sabotaging plans and technology, killing off major leaders and causing general mass chaos.
