Eragon and Saphira watched. They were pretty far, but they could still see somethingy thrashing around and slapped the guy with the wings in the face. Eragon frowned. This world is getting weirder by the second. Perhaps I should have stayed in MH. And I still think Mh is weird.

[Shadow]

There was a shriek, which came from the monster, and it rose out of the water. It was livid, someone had dared to cut off one of its precious appendages! as it surfaced, its large red eyes looked around, seeing nothing but fuzzy shapes and multycolored blobs. It shreiked again, and looked around. Seeing that one of the creatures was holding it's severed appendage close to its face, The giant squid went into a frenzy and swung all its tentacles at Shadow.
Looking up, Shadow's face went even more white, seeing as there were thirty tentacles flying at him, with a speed equivalent to his own. folding his wings, he pulled a small bag out of one of his pouches. dodging blindingly fast tentacles, he looked for the creature's mouth. when he saw it, he almost fell over in sheer suprise. "It hasss a beak? What kind of creature isss thiss?" None the less, when it opened its mouth to shreik again, he threw the package in. his moment of motionless rewarded him with a tentacle to the stomach.flying back, he landed hard about thirty feet away and winded.

[Ariadne]

Ariadne was just walking around the lake. She never been to this sid eof the lake. So today was her first. As she was walking along the distance she managed to see some crazy octupus thingy. Ariadne wanted to go nowhere near that thing. If It wasnt harming her or anyone else for that matter she will not have to go any further. Ariadne decided to sit on a rock and looked at the octupus creature as it threw about its tentacles everywhere amking Ariadne giggle. She then saw two figures flying in the air. She was going to throw an orb of light but thought against it, "theyll probably try to attack me or something". Ariadne thought remembereing what had happened at the Citadel. She then saw how one figure had wings and blew fire at the creature. She thought of Shadow and how he had wanted to do that.

Ariadne then saw how the creature hit the man. She had figured this out on the course of the way. Ariadne stood up immediatly. As she walked more closer. She saw how the man threw something in the creatures mouth causing it to erupt and send him flying. The man landed a couple of feet from Ariadne. Ariadne then walked up to the man to see how he was doing but she found herself staring at................

Eragon sat down and watched the "show". Saphira read his thoughts and shook her long blue head disapprovingly. Its not a show, Eragon. Let's saty out of other's buisness. She nudged him. Then Eragon grumbled and climbed onto her back. Then Saphira took off with Eragon thinking about what the guy with the wings had just said about dragons.

Napeir ran over to shadow" hey are you all right"napeir said reaching his hand down to help shadow up.Mean while napeir wrote down the location and what they had seen."this place isn't very safe for townsfoke, we have to say something about this or some one might get hurt"

[Shadow]

Shadow Struggled to his feet, and with the help of napier, he managed to stand up. Wiping the blood from his chin, he sighed and sarcasticly agreed. "Oh no, wouldnt want that to happen to anyone innocent..." looking around, he saw araidne there. "Hey, itsss araidne!" He walked over, his wings unfolding as he sprang into the air. "guesss what I can do!" He landed next to her. "I can fly! I figured out the wingsss!"

[Ariadne]

Ariadne was surprised that it was Shadow the one that was flying and breathing fire. She smiled as Shadow got up and addressed her. "The one and only" Ariadne replyed to him. "Im happy for you. Did you end up fainting?" Ariadne asked him. A smirk then appeared on her face. "Now you can give me a ride." Ariadne told him.

[Shadow]

Shadow laughed. "sure." crouching down, he pointed to his back. "well, get on! right inbetween the wings if you can..." He spread his wings, making a place for he to sit, right in between his wing joints. "actually, I think you might have to lay down, just put your arms arund my neck, and dont squeeze to hard."

[napeir]

Napeir sat againest a tree" tell me when you two are done"napeir said"i'll be waiting"
Then megilan rushed up to greet napeir." where have you been" napeir said picking him up" i was starting to get worried".

[Shadow]

Shadow looked over at napier. "But the way you acted before made me think that you didnt like flying." He laughed. "if you want, I can give you a ride too. I just promised this one that she'd get a ride first." he indicated araidne.

[napeir]

"nah, i'm good, you to lovebirds spend all the time you need up there" napeir said jumping into a tree to grab an apple.

[Ariadne]

Ariadne glared at Napeir as he called her and Shadow "Lovebirds"."Why would he think such a thing like that?" Ariadne wondered about Napeir. Ariadne walked in back of Shadow. "Youll need to bend down, Im nowhere near close to grabbing your neck." Ariadne explained to him.

[napeir]

Napeir noticed the puzzled look on Ariadne's face." you like him no matter what you say, and shadow likes her"napeir said to himself" i think" he replied to himself.

[Shadow]

Shadow laughed. "im sssorry, forgot my height." Shadow kneeled down, wings fanning. he gave a funnny look to napier. Turning to araidne, he whispered in her ear. "let him be, i think hes just jealous."

[napeir]

Napeir turned back to his apple, and took a bite.
