Transformations

[Shadow]

Shadow was sitting under a tree beside the lake with his eyes closed. concentrating, he focused on his transformation. focusing mainly on the wigs, because one mistake and they are useless. standing up, He still had his eyes closed as the transformation took place. not changing his head, just his internal organs and his back, he stood patiently, focusing on growing wings and getting them right.

Suddenly, his shirt ripped in half and two black dragon wings sprouted from what used to be his shoulders. opening his eyes, he laughed. But instead of laughter, a jet of flame burst from his mouth. surprised, he looked at himself. "I ssstill look human, but now i breathe fire too?" He shrugged. his body was in normal condition and appearance, except he was half a foot taller and had wings that were fanning him. He ran to the water and looked in at his reflection. "Yesss... I did it!"

Looking around, He decided to try to fly. Jumping up in the air, he flapped his wings experimentally. the look on his face was one of pure joy."they work! yesss!" He stayed there, in mid air, thinking of exactly what he did, and maybe next time he could try and put the dragon Head on also.

Napeir walked from the bushes to see a figure in the air flaping wings, so napeir walked up closer"hey shadow"
"i see your praticing your transforming"napeir finished

[Shadow]

Shadow did a flip and faced Napeir upside-down. "hello there napier! how are you this fine evening?" he righted himself, and tried to fly over to where Napeir was. But instead of going forward, he went up. Trying again, he got it, and swooping down, landed next to Napeir. "I did it! I got the wings down! Now, all i need to do is get the idea of flying..."

[napeir]

" i'm doing good"napeir replied" so you can only get the wings, thats the best part of a dragon" Napeir looked around almost expecting some one else to show up."the lake is usualy croweded, even at night isn't it"??napeir asked

[Shadow]

Shadow looked around. "Yeah, but itssss sssstill early." He shrugged. "dont mind the hisssssing itsss just an after afect of being a dragon. I can breathe fire too." he looked up into the sky and shot a column of fire out of his mouth. "cool, huh?"

[napeir]

"yeah................but the hissing is the down fall of it.....u can't speak english corectly" napeir looked back to the lake, large ripples shot through it from the far side of the lake"whats going on over there?"napeir asked.

[Shadow]

Shadow looked. "No idea..." He jumped back into the air and grabbed napier under the arms. "would you rather fly or walk? Im going to fly over the land, not the lake. I dont fully now my flying ssskillsss yet." Shadow looked over at the other side of the lake. Without waiting for an answer, he grabbed Napier under the arms and flew off, nearly skimming the ground with napier's feet.

"holy crappppppppp" napeir said being lifted into the air" flying it is then"
"what the..................." napeir said getting closer to the side of the lake that the ripples came from( you chose what there..............what i was going to say would be kinda cheesey for this post)

[Allen †]

Eragon hugged on tight onto Saphira's neck. Eragon! She said, sounding suprised. Yeah?

There's another dragon down there! She said. Well, go down and have a look. Eragon said and Saphira dived down.

"Whoa." Eragon said and leapt off Saphira. "Hello. Nice wings." He said. Its a person, not a dragon. Eragon told Saphira mentally.

I am not blind. She scoffed.
I didn't say you were. Eragon snapped back.

[napeir]

"Oh, nothing be concerned about just a dragon and some guy with a sword, see no worrys, none here"napeir said.

[Allen †]

Eragon frowned. Saphira gazed warily at the guy. "Erm..." He said.

[Shadow]

Shadow spun, almost dropping Napier. He stayed there, motionless, almost forgetting to beat his wings. "A-a D-dragon? Isss that a dragon?" he was amazed. "they sssupposedly went extinct over a millenia ago!" he looked at the dragon's back, to where the voice had originated from. Seeing the young man, shadow shook his head. "hello there, and thanksss. I desssigned them myself. we are invessstigating a disssturbance on the other ssside of the lake, and sssince i just got my wingsss for the firssst time today, I wasss not to keen on flying over the water." Nodding in the direction of the disturbance, he started off. "come on, letsss go check it out." Re-adjusting his grip on napier, he flew off.

[Allen †]

Eragon looked at saphira. "Extinct?" He asked her. Saphira giggled. Not in Alagaesia. Remember, I am supposed to BE extinct after what Galbatorix did to us. Eragon nodded and watched as the guy flew over.

[Shadow]

Shadow looked back. "oh well, they arent following usss." putting napier down as they reached the disturbance, shadow gazed into the water. stepping back, he pulled napier along with him. Shadow face paled. "itsss enourmousss... it hasss over thirty appendagesss... what isss it?" He shot a pillar of flame at the creature, and it thrashed and flailed, swinging its tentacles wildly. "Itsss one of thossse octopusss thingsss i think..." one of the flailing tentacles smacked Shadow in the face and nocking him down. Standing up wearily, he laughed "and it packsss quite the punch" Seeing another tentacle coming, he took out his dagger and cut the end off. picking up the squirming appendage, he examined it closly. "Yesss... It isss a sssquid of sssome sssort."
