Akai had decided to take a short trip around the lake. She was quite bored, recently, and needed a short fight to reclaim her lost skill after being in Aesir with no sparring partner for such a long time. She looked at the water, noting the small amount of fat that had collected during her time of slacking. She would have to go on a diet. And exercise. She needed that, too. She would have to find someone to spar with. She wrapped her robe around her stomach to hide her excess fat, and tied it under her sash for a change.

The lake a wonderful place' Tsuzuki thought to himself as he walked along the lake's edge he was still wearing his black armor. His sword at his side Tsuzuki seemed to be in an average mood. His heart wanted to see a battle not to kill but more of a spar really. He had not met anyone from the warrior city as of yet or of that odd flouting city.
He stopped when he thought he heard something but it was just a fish from the lake. He sighed and began to wonder if he was just getting ahead of himself again. He knew if he sat down he would only get stuck and not be able to stand. He was tired of walking but no sitting was gonna help him now he got this far and well he wasn't gonna head back just yet.

Akai noticed the man as he walked around the lake, and also the sword at his side. It was quite a bit like the swords her own village used in combat, and that practically decided for her what her next course of action was. She walked behind him for a short time, until she figured he had noticed her, and brought a bokken out of her pack. "Are you, by any chance, looking for a fine sparring match?" She asked him honestly, not figuring that about the only thing on her mind right now could be too far from the mind of the man she was talking to. After all, he had the right carriage for a warrior looking for a fight. She held her bokken forward, and grabbed her staff as well, deciding that he was an opponent that she was definitely looking forward to...

"Actually...yes I am."He said and turned to face the person who spoke and to his amazment it was a girl. He drew his blade anyway noticing she had her weopons ready."This..wil be fun..the name is Tsuzuki Sanda...what is your name miss?"He said politely before thaking his fighting pose which looked normal but the blade rested in his right hand. and his arm looked like it went limp. This was his style of the ' relaxed sword' it was quick but sometimes very misleading to the oppenant.
Still he awaited the girl to reply he felt the wind beginning to blow the leaves rustled in the trees. the grass waved and the dead leaves fell into the wind some touched the ground but most of it landed in the lake. This was gonna be a long sparring match he could tell.

Akai dropped her bokken, deciding that she was far better with her staff, and jumpped backwards, landing not very far off, but out of striking distance. "It seems as though we want about the same thing, so let us begin." She held her staff in both hands, and focused her eyes on the man before her. She didn't want to let a single one of his movements evade her glance. She readied herself, and prepared to strike with her staff.

Tsuzuki knew about many weapons but a staff was slightly new to him he decided that charging right in was out of the question but maybe a fake attack would make her realize she was facing a man who was well trained. He began to think strategically of how to face an opponent with a staff like that one. He knew charging right in wasn't the best and fake attacks would be thwarted. He had no idea what to expect but maybe he could be defensive and then be on the offensive when she dropped her guards against him.
"Let's see what you can do."He didn't note the fact he didn't know her name but that was no problem to him. He wanted to be on the defence till at least she knew his plan.

Akai noticed the man's hesitance to attack. This immediately spoke volumes of his skill, as she knew that he had been well trained. She decided that she would see how he reacted to attacks along the skill level of a beginner. She changed her hold on the staff, gripping it by the end, rather than the middle, and bringing the full weight down from above Sanada's head. She wondered how he would parry the beginner's strike.

Tsuzuki recognized this attack nd merely smiled he brought to blade above his head and moved just at the last moment and swung his sword horizontally at her. This was just a trick though his left hand which had a iron gauntlet on and he attempted to grab the staff to make sure it would be an instant hit ether way with the blade. He was only playing he was simply biding his time to pull off show of his better moves.

Akai realized that he would react far too well to such child's play, and so switched directions mid swing, pulling the tip of the other end of the staff back towards her, and planting it in the ground. She jumped upon the staff to get a vantage point, and jumped down quickly, launching a series of kicks aimed at his face, gut, and hand. With each successive blow, she increased the speed of her attacks. She was finally finished warming up.

Tszuki didn't expect such a skilled warrior to react in this way but he reacted just as fast as she did he decided to have his left hand take all the hits he blocked some of the kicks and the staffs hits were blocked by his sword. He knew that she was done warming up in fact he was still warming up himself he smiled and said in his mind 'Take the offenceive' he took his chance and chraged at her with excessive force. He swung the sword but however his was gonna grab the staff with his left hand to treak her into letting her guard down.
He admitted to himself that she was impressive. She was skilled and now he needed to step it up a notch.

OOC: Her specialties are using staves, and unarmed combat. She actually dropped the staff. I said she "planted the tip in the ground." It's sticking out of the ground vertically.
Akai moved quickly out of the way of the sword, and this time there was a noticeably wide gap from her last speeds. Having finished warming up, she had decided to give it her all. She ducked under the sword swing, wondering if he realized that she could now easily hit him. She used her own speed, no longer carrying a weapon, and not wearing any armor, to launch a jabbing blolw directly into his gut. She used her other hand to attempt to stay his sword arm by grabbing hold of it.

Tsuzuki left her this opening so he could lure her in he dropped his sword and grabbed her left arm and his left arm grabbed her right."There is no escape."His left arm slid down her arm and gripped the staff. He was gonna twist it from her hand and use it but he never used a staff so he'd have to grab the sword too. This was a match he was not gonna forget.

OOC: About time. Anyways, what part of SHE IS NOT CARRYING HER STAFF RIGHT NOW don't you understand?
BIC: Akai fought herself from laughing, as this was exactly how she had planned things. He was clutching onto her. She was ready, now. She pulled herself up, using his arms, and aimed a forceful blow with both feet, hitting directly in his stomach. She thought him the fool for his maneuvers, wondering what he was thinking, engaging a superior in hand to hand combat.

Napeir stood in the trees watching them fight, he never carried weapons cause he hated fighting. He was not going to hop down to say hi or start claping for who won. These people were warriors of Avaren, "they might be working with the guard" he thought. Since the mages where were getting picked up off the streets and probley being hanged he diden't want to cause any notice of himself. Then there was a large crack and the branch that was under him snaped and he and the branch hit the ground with a thud.
" crap" he said looking at the two.
