A figure stumbled, crashing to the ground. It was a woman, her dress was torn in some places, matted with burrs and dirt. Her breathing was forced. She was exhausted. She rolled onto her back, coughing. A gray cat looked down at her, sniffing. Tariku got up slowly, looking around. "We will wait here, Magilan." She saw a stump and sat down, resting her weary head on her knees.

Another cat appeared, running into the graveyard.It had jet black fur and green seeking eyes. Running through the area the cat swept its view across the area, trying to find something.
Megilan, who had gone with Tariku through the tunnel pricked his ears and ran into the fog that surrounded the area. Returning with the cat with black fur.

Tariku moaned. She wasn't feeling great. She needed sleep. She got off the stump and sat on the ground, leaning her back against the stump. She closed her eyes and sighed. "Its been three days......or two." She groan. She didn't know anymore. She had been running in a straight line all the way from Avaren. She opened her eyes and jumped at the sight of the black cat. She stared at it, her eyes falling upon its bright green eyes. She squinted at it, heart thumping.

The Black cat motioned to megilan, and the grey cat shot behind a tree, bringing ot a set of cloths.The Black cat waved its tail at Tariku, before sliping behind a tree.
A light flashed from behind the tree, then dimming away.
" could you hand me those cloths" napeir asked from behind the tree.

Tariku gaped at the tree. She took the clothes and handed it around the tree. She sat on the ground, holding her head, praying she wasn't seeing things. After a while, she said,"Napeir?"

" yeah, your going to ask about the cat thing right" he asked.
Stepping around the tree he was completly back to normal, except for the fact that he still had the cat ears and tail.

Staring at him, she got up quickly. "Later," she said, running to him and embracing him. "Are you well? Did they hurt you? I heard them get in." She said this frantically. She feared that they had taken him.

" there is no need to worry, i got away unharmed" he said, his tail twitching.
He lightly put his arms around her.
"it's ok, i'm safe, and so are you. thats all that matters"he told her

She sighed, feeling better but still a great deal tired. "I must look foolish." She pulled away a little, and looked down at her dress. She tried to bat away the dirt but it didn't do anything. She looked up at Napier, embarrassed, running her fingers through her scraggled hair, taking out a burr in the process.

She looked him, feeling the warmth spreading through her. She kept his hand at her cheek, closing her eyes. "My God, I worried about you. Two sides of me battled night and day. But, Megilan was my anchor, leading me on." She opened her eyes and looked lovingly at Napier.

" as long as we made it through, i was worried, but you had the best guide you can get for those tunnels" he said pointing at megilan
He leaned forward and kissed her.
" How about we rest" he said sitting down under the tree.

"Please," she said, sounding exhausted. She wobbled but managed to sit down next to Napier. She sighed and leaned her head against the tree. She suddenly smirked,"I envy you. I'm new to........this. Roughing it in the wilderness. I've never left that.....that blind city." She looked at Napier. "I'll bet you've been most everywhere."

"not yet" he said laughing" i'm not that old'
He droped his head saddness showing in his eyes.
"my parents died when i was young, i was left to take care of myself. I have grown up in these conditions. " he lifted his head and smiled" all i can say is welcome to the wild side"
He then laughed.

She joined in. Then, her smile faded. "I understand how you feel.......well, at least half." She looked at the ground. "My mother left us when I was born.......I was not even an hour old....and she just left. My father kept telling me that she was sick and had to leave." She shook her head. "I would have rather have a sick, dying mother than not having one at all." She glared at empty space.
