Tallice returned from the Lake after she spoke with Eragon. She opened the door to the Tavern and walked in. Looking around, it felt empty inside. She walked over to the bar, grabbing a glass and poured herself some ale. She thought about what had happened at the lake. "What have I done. Why didn't I... ohhh." Tallice sighed. "I just wish for once he would love me the same way I love him and people just let him be happy with his decision." She took a sip and sat down on the bar stool, putting her arm up and leaned her head against her palm. She wasn't confused she just wanted to be with him and be happy, but she knew it would probably never happen.

Eragon pushed open the door to the Tavern. He was feeling really tired and he was aware of himself not having ameal for three days now. "Tallice." He greeted her, his face pale. "I am really...sorry...sorry...about what happened at the lake..." He stammered and fainted.

Tallice heard the door push open as she looked she saw Eragon walk in and heard him apologize for what had happened. As he fainted, she jumped off the stool and ran over to him "Eragon? Are you ok?" she asked placing her hand on his chest. She then noticed he had fainted and remembered hearing Saphira tell him he should eat. "Come on, lets get you upstairs into bed sweetie." She picked him up and carried him up the stairs. Pushing open the bedroom door she carried him over to the bed and sat him down. Pulling the blankets down she laid him back gently. She pulled off his boots and put his legs on the bed and covered him up. Kissing his cheek, she walked out and cracked the door. She walked down stairs and prepared a nice meal for him to eat consisting of meats, vegetables, fruits and home brew tea. Once his meal was done, she placed it all on a tray and brought it up to him with some water and a cloth. She set the bowl of water on the table and the cloth in the water. She placed his meal on the opposite side of him. Picking up the cloth and rung it out, Tallice placed it on his forehead gently. She opened his shirt a little to pat down his chest with the cloth to make him feel better.

Eraon awoke wit a slight throbbing in his head. He opened his eyes slightly and saw Tallice sitting in front of a bed he is lying in now. "What happened?" He asked, his throat hurting. His stomach was churning, but he resisted the urge to vomit all over Tallice. His back hurt alot, and he guess when he fainted, he fell down really hard. He could feel Saphira contancting him. Are you alright? She asked worriedly. Yeha I am thanks Saphira. Eragon felt saphira withdraw contact. He turned his head so that Tallice's face was blocked from view.

"You fainted from not eating for the past few days." Tallice said taking the cloth gently placing it on his forehead then took it off flipping it to the other side and placing it on his neck to cool him becuse he was quite warm. Tallice smiled "Shhhh, quiet. Just rest.. I made you something to eat." she pointed to the tray next to him.

"Thank you." Eragon said, but he still felt very... weak. He looked up at Tallice for a moment, and he found his thoughts swimming around randomly, not allowing him to think. Then there was a pain to his chest and he blacked out again.

Tallice got up putting the cloth into the bowl and walked out for a moment into her room. She picked up a bottle and took the elven herbal liquid to help heal Eragon. She got it from a friend of her parents for when she was sick. She walked back in and placed 2-3 droplets into the dropper and opened Eragon's mouth. She placed the dropper in his mouth and squeezed the tip to let the liquid drip down onto his tongue. "There that should help him to quickly regain some strength and not feel as horrible." she said.

Eragon's breathing slowed, then stopped.

Eragon pushed himself up. "Why am I here again?" And Mitch was standing in front of the gates. "Eragon? Why did you come back here?" Eragon scratched his head. "I don't know Mitch... I came from Avaren, not Ravenstain. " "So Mishka is not with you?"
"Yeah, she's not."
So it is Death again. Eragon thought. He had been reentering this place for too many times.

Tallice looked at Eragon and she saw his breathing had slowed. "Please heal him back, Let me not lose the one true person I dearly love, if and then shall taketh my life to save his." she laid her head on his chest and whispered "I love you Eragon." she then closed her eyes placing her hands over his heart.

Eragon had wonderfully forgotten the living world and his body got colder.

Tallice felt Eragon's body grow colder "Nooo, Eragon." she said with a low whisper. She then kissed his lips softly, as she kissed him she thought aloud "Eragon, I love you. Please don't leave me." as she lifted her head and opened her eyes to look at him a tear fell onto his lips.

"Oh you stupid!!!" Eragon yelled and pounced onto Mitch. They started clawing each other. Some ghouls gathered around them and started yelling : "Fight! Fight!" As they scabbled, Eragon heard Tallice and a small gem dropped from his mouth. Tallice's tear. "Oh my gosh, I forgot." Then they tumbled down into Death again.
"S**T! ****!"
"Ow. Not again. Eragon let's climb back up."
"Sh*T! I died again. You son of a *****."
"Its not my fault. Lets get up before anyone got scared and buries you haha."
"You ****."
(Pardon my foul language: I and Mitch are always fighting. Um hm.)
Eragon's eyes snapped open in reality and he locked gaze with Tallice. Then his last breath escaped his lips.

Tallice looked at Eragon and kissed him "Oh My God, you scared me." she said with shock, "Are you ok?" Tallice asked him "Eragon? Please answer me." she hugged him

Eragon's head lolled limply and his eyes were open, but blank.
"How much... more...?" Eragon wheezed, climbing upwards.
"Hey, how come it got longer?" Mitch complained.
"You mean...higher...the other time we got up in only 5 minutes..." Eragon apnted.
"Still a long way up, bro."
"Who the heck is your bro. Don't anyhow acknowledge others"
"Whatever bro."
"Shut up dude."

"Eragon?" Tallice put her hand up to her mouth "Nooo" as her voice drifted into a tearful voice, tears streamed down her face. She covered her eyes to keep the tears from flowing onto him but as she cried the tears began to drip from out of the slips of her fingers. She then looked up and yelled "No, You will not do this to me. I love you too much to lose you." then clapsed her hands together and hit his chest to get him to breath again.
